Definitely not the best place I've eaten at. The server was very nice but the food wasn't very flavorful. I had ordered the New Mexico burger, which I should have guessed it wasn't going to be flavorful because New Mexico is very bland too lol. Anyways, the burger said it was supposed to come with chipotle mayo and a Cajun seasoned burger but none of that was true. Both buns were dry and the burger was cooked to well done, not medium rare, and the fries didn't have salt on them either. Yelp has the wrong hours up. They are open 6am to 10 pm on weeknights. Luckily I saw the sign on the way in. I blew past several other places that Yelp listed as closed at 5pm too. So double check before you think ots some slacker joint that has shitty hours Jerry's has been here for 55 years and shows no signs of going under The burgers and pancakes are nothing short of spectacular on a normal day. Overall 2/5 because great family ambience & good service but I will say the food is average, I wouldn't come back. I got the eggs Benedict and not the best I've had but not horrible either. I added on 1 pancake for $1 and did not like pancake at all- had no flavor and elasticy texture to tell you the truth. Occasionally stop by during my trips up to Fallon. Older style diner that serves breakfast throughout the day. It is one of the few spots open late in the small town so that is a plus. Latest meal was the Ruben with Fries. Ruben was cooked properly and was of normal proportions however the fries lacked flavor and required some salt and pepper. Staff is very friendly, and seems like a common family dining location as the restaurant had a lot of seats filled. As stated before there was an issue with flies swirling around which was a distraction and our meal did take longer than expected. End of the day it is a alright place to stop if you want a sandwich, breakfast, or standard diner fare while in Fallon. read more

The food is hot and fresh,and it tastes great. The customer service is as it should be. It's always busy, and I will say that with it being busy,they maintain the cleanliness through the dining area. The ozzy, add hash browns. Hands down the best breakfast I've had in a while, biscuits were made with love. Gravy had huge chunks of sausage in it! Add on a cinnamon roll, I'll bathe in these cinnamon rolls. Thick, warm, not bready. Hold up let me whip my mouth and run out and grab another cinnamon roll. My mom and I just moved to the area, and were looking for a good lunch spot. Jerry's was in the same lot we'd been shopping in, so we popped in. It's kind of bland looking from the outside, and the inside is unremarkable. That being said, the staff was wonderful and kind, and the food was extremely tasty. My mom got a reuben, and I got the club sandwich. Both of us ordered onion rings on the side. The sandwiches were nicely sized, and the onion rings had such a great batter! Ok. Been there before, twice, and never had an issue. Until yesterday. FLIES all over the place while dining!! I even moved from a table by the door to one much further away from the front door. Darn flies still made this dining experience HORRIBLE! My wife and I were shoowing flies away from our faces and plates during our whole meal. Just awful. I ended up walking to the waitress and asking for a to-go box. Just needed outta there! She asked if we wanted desert, and I told her that I had just had desert...a FLY had flown right up into my right nostril while trying to eat! I won't return to Jerrys. She took 5 bucks off my bill, when no payment at all would have been nice. I did tip her, though, as she's got bills to pay as we all do. Not her fault. it was late at night and seemed like most places were closed for the night. At the distance we noticed a bright sign so we said why not? There was a large group of people ahead of us so we knew it was going to be a bit, so we waited. With two cooks and two waitresses, this place seemed busy! and the 13 person group sure had them busy. The cook kept pumping the orders one after the other one, i think we were there about 20-30 minutes before we got our order. No big deal, we knew they were busy, and the waitress kept coming and apologizing for our lte order. We dod t mind as we were just talking. When we finally got our buger, it was delicious! simple, juicy, and not too many things that would distract from the flavor. The fries werw crunchy and just great. Food is good. Coffee is delicious. Bathroom smells really bad. Service is horrible. Last time one of the ladies got upset when my husband asked for more coffee but he walked up to the register to pay... so he brought up the question. The lady literally said, "I will get to it when I get to it." Not the first time with this service. We won't be back. read more

Gravy here is good!! Got an order to go the other day. It wasn't fast but it was delicious! Got a Route 66 burger (fries are served unsalted, ours were on the dark side but still good!) And a chicken fried steak. Eggs were perfect, and the hash browns, which I almost always hate, were literally PERFECT (I like them golden and soft, apparently lol). I didn't get any photos... the burger and fries weren't pretty even though delish. CFS was big enough it was served in two containers (to go). Service was great, as well. This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Fallon. Their food is always reasonably priced and their sandwiches never disappoint. Breakfast on weekends is pretty busy, and with a limited staff you can expect somewhat long wait times. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because during warmer months the flies do get out of control. But definitely check out their breakfast foods, or if you're going their at a later time you should definitely get one of their sandwiches. read more

I would give no stars if that were an option. We arrived at 1135 on a Sunday morning, and our waitress came and took our drink order. It was 10 more minutes before she came back and took our food order. 30 minutes later, when we still didn't have any food at our table, we asked about the status. "Oh sorry, it's really slammed back there right now. It'll probably be another 15-20 minutes." We still had a very long drive ahead of us, so we had to go. We ended up leaving without eating. I understand this is a very busy place, but the waitress should have been on top of it when she saw how busy it was. If you end up at this place, I highly recommend you set a timer when you sit down. Otherwise, you may end up spending a good chunk of your day here. The only positive is that they allowed the cat inside in his carrier since it was really warm outside. read more

It doesn't appear that ownership is putting much money into the place as everything looks worn out. Stopped in at around 10: 30 on a Tuesday. About twenty people were inside dining. I noticed straight away that the dining experience here would be a good one....as laughter and joyous banter was prevelent. The wait staff were busy, but they seated me quickly. I ordered coffee, and it was hot and fresh! I took a minute to look at the menu, and the menu has 5 pages of diner type dishes to choose from. I went with the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK meal, and it came with two eggs, hash browns, toast and I cannot believe that I finished the meal! I thought the best CHICKEN FRIED STEAK were in Texas. This place is giving them a run for their braggin' rights! I was full really at about the half way mark on the steak....really a lot of darn good food for under 10 bucks! They even give a 10 percent discount to military and retired military. How nice! THEIR PRICES CANNOT BE BEAT!!! The restaurant was really clean from what I saw. Locals seem to know a great place to eat...not sure why I've not stopped in here before. I think a secret to the success of this place is the working relationship of the employees towards one another. Food was great Service slow I ordered takeout It took them about half hour to complete. I asked the server do they have my order. She says no that my order was simple but I'm sitting at the counter sipping coffee. I'm trying to analyze her comment. I said to myself no it can't be that I got profiled it's 2022 and then when I got food I couldn't really enjoy the food. I felt sad that at 72 and non-white being disrespected by servers and the establishment. I guess if I would been a white woman then I be served respectfully with a so my fellow Americans if you want to eat at Jerry's and if you are white that's the place to go. Very poor experience. Rude server who treated us terribly but was nice to the other customers. When I noticed the way she treated them, I realized they were all caucasians & we were the only minorities in there. She came to our table with a demeaning tone & asked were we ready in our first encounter. She didn't introduce herself or check on us for drink refills while we waited for our food. We never got to eat because the waitress never put our order in and we waited for an hour. We ended up leaving! Will never be coming here again! I don't recommend this restaurant...stay away!
