Jersey Banh Mi is a solid fast casual Vietnamese spot. Everything is solid but I wasn't blown away by the dishes. Everything is fresh but the flavors aren't so distinguishable between dishes. It is also very fluorescent blue.

Jersey Fist Pumps For Jersey Banh Mi. Amazing service from JBM from first phone call to delivery service. Tung answered my first phone call and explained some items on the menu. He then provided information on the several 3rd party delivery services since they do not offer in house delivery. The food arrived warm, well presented and complete. Everything was delicious and fresh. We ordered our go to grilled chicken over white rice withe lettuce, tomato, cucumber and fish sauce. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the chicken was tender and charred perfect. The bulgogi kimchi cheesesteak was sandwich in one hand and Jersey fist pump with the other hand. The bread was slightly toasted, bulgogi was flavorfully tender and and kimchi was chopped with a kick. The summer roll was fresh and delicious. Spring rolls came crispy, stuffed and savory. I will definitely try other items on their menu. Thank you for your great service Tung!

Good food and great service. Very cute local restaurant! Ordered the pho and waffles for dessert! Will be back to try the banh mi!

Wow. This is very good. Probably my favorite Bahn Mi I've had in NJ. To start, the ingredients are all incredibly fresh, and the spices are aromatic. The grilled chicken in the bahn mi was perfectly tender and juicy despite having a nice smoky char. I love that they let me add Paté to this sandwich! Great texture and taste. The Bun Bo Hue cured a mild cold I had at the time. I've been told by Vietnamese friends that a spicy bowl of Bun Bo Hue (with the blood) can be revitalizing, and I found this to be true! The spicy pepper sauce adds a pleasant kick and wasn't TOO spicy. Add a little if you're not sure. Obviously cooked with love in a family joint. Attentive service with a smile. I recommend to call place larger orders in advance because it is made fresh to order. Parking is not easy on the street, but the dining area is modern, clean, and pleasant so it is worth dining in.

Worth a try! Go for it! We got the Spring Rolls, Grilled Pork Chops & Classic Banh Mi Sandwich and they all taste delicious. Arrived hot and fresh off the kitchen. Service is attentive and quick. Place is clean, but they could make it look more attractive for customers.

I've been here a few times and think of them as a reliable lunch and dinner spot! They have good portions and I've been enjoying their seasonal items! The staff is always friendly too!

I had high hopes for Jersey Banh Mi, but it was an absolute disaster. The food tasted like dirty gym socks--stale, off-putting, and profoundly unappetizing. The banh mi sandwiches were poorly made with limp, flavorless ingredients that lacked any semblance of freshness. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this place. Whoever put 5 stars definitely got paid for their review

Great local spot for Vietnamese food! Chicken pho and short ribs platter was fantastic! Clean place and great service.

Let me just start off and say that this place is a gem! The aesthetic is super nice and the vibes are very relaxing and chill. My bf and I ordered take out and everything was cooked to perfection. I had the lemongrass beef noodles with a crispy spring roll and he had the crispy pork belly with rice. Both were absolutely delicious but pork belly is out of this world!!! The lady behind the register was super friendly and her recommendations did not disappoint. I also had a Thai tea which was strong but yummy. Great service, great atmosphere, and they even have stickers for you to take home. We definitely will be back and look forward to checking out the ube and pandan waffles next along with other items.

Clean beautiful and delicious. I went in the afternoon on a Saturday and there was seating! The owner was there and she was very nice and welcoming! I tried the fried egg roll that comes in 4 and the gochujang chicken wings - small that came with 6 wings. I also got 2 grilled pork banh mis! Everything was so delicious and fresh.

Our kids absolutely love the grilled pork with rice -- it's juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned every time. My husband and I have tried the chicken pho, beef pho, crab noodle soup, bun bo hue, and pork chop, and everything has been delicious. The bun bo hue is definitely the standout -- so flavorful and comforting. I've also tried the Thai tea, durian smoothie, avocado smoothie, and sugar cane drink, and they were all great. I really appreciated that they were willing to make everything less sweet, just the way I prefer. And don't miss the fried banana -- super crispy on the outside and so yummy inside! We even picked up snacks like jackfruit chips, rice paper mix, and crackers to take home. Prices are very reasonable, service is always friendly and fast, and the food quality is consistently amazing. Highly recommend!

Usually you have to ask, but not here. props for that. Viet wings were good. Theyre on the small side, if im being honest. However, theyre cooked well and flavor is killer. i love the crunch to them and theyre not too messy. Veggie pho with veggie broth. I know traditional is beef and i took a gamble here, but the broth was just incredibly bland. ive had plenty of veggie stock pho that hit the spot, but here it was just so bland. I had to spicy it up with the chilli sauce and hoison. not good. the dessert. this just lost me. i was so let down here. the sweet corn pudding had a few issues with it. it was basically rice pudding, with maybe 8 corn kernals thrown in there. im not a chef, but it seemed like the corn was not cooked with the pudding. the corn was not sweet and neither was the rice pudding itself. it truly tasted like the corn was thrown on top. Also, the coconut sauce on top was not sweet. again, it tasted like it was poured on top and didnt blend with the pudding.

A Decade of Love on a Plate: A Local Favorite That Punches Above Its Weight…read more This place is the definition of a neighborhood gem--the kind you almost want to keep secret, yet can't stop yourself from praising. Cheap and cheerful on the surface, it punches way above its weight class, delivering inventive, clean, Asian-inspired food that's masterfully cooked by clearly skilled hands--and made with real love. I've been coming back year after year for most of this restaurant's 10-year lifespan, and that consistency is no accident. Every dish tastes intentional, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying, with a clear goal: to feed people love on a plate. It's a super veggie/vegan friendly that easily wins over even my "meat and potatoes" husband--who happily cleans his plate every time. In an era where genuine hospitality feels increasingly rare, Perry single-handedly restored my faith that quality service is not extinct. Warm, attentive, and authentically kind, Perry makes every guest feel seen, welcome, and cared for--without pretense or attitude. This is food that nourishes, service that uplifts, and a place that keeps you coming back not just for the flavors, but for how it makes you feel. A true neighborhood treasure.

I've seen this restaurant circling my YELP for the last few months and put it on my "want to try"…read morelist. This place is absolutely solid! If you're looking for good flavorful food options, this has got to be on your "must try" list, I genuinely do not think you'll be disappointed. I ordered the blueberry lemon iced tea, maitake mushroom medley with the option of udon noodles & added chicken, the coconut curry with the option of ramen noodles and the rice pudding with caramel sauce for dessert. First things first, my absolute FAVORITE thing about this restaurant is the food contains no GMO's no preservatives, pink Himalayan salt to season and NO REFINED sugars- only agave and palm sugar to sweeten. I WISH I would've known about this spot sooner JUST for that detail alone. I am always on the hunt for a place that offers refined sugar free options, and with that comes this level of safety knowing what I am consuming has a heath standard/holistic approach to meet and me not having to feel guilty or worrisome after a meal. Absolute 10/10 in that aspect. I saw a few reviews mention the blueberry lemon iced tea, as someone not even a fan of lemonade I decided to give it a try. Let's just say, I was slow sipping my drinks to not finish it all and avoid getting another in the same sitting lol. It's well balanced, not sour, blueberry flavor is present and knowing it's sweetened with agave led to guilt free pleasure. Would recommend everyone to try it, even if you're not a fan of lemonade like I am. Another mention, lemonade tends to make my throat dry, due to its sourness and tanginess and that didn't happen at all. Think the blueberry was more prominent than the lemon, it was really enjoyable. The curry ramen was a highlight! If your a fan of curry, I think you def have got to try this. I actually didn't get it (my partner did) because I didn't wanna be let down, but it was absolutely delicious. I got the maitake medley udon noddles with added chicken and what a blast of flavor. It had veggies, mushrooms, chicken, udon, eggs, kimchi and was extremely flavorful. I was very surprised that each element of the dish had its own flavor and spice that really jumped out, but paired well together. The least favorite thing for me on this platter was the eggs. Just your standard egg, I'm a fan of soy-marinated eggs on my noodles and not a fan of regular boiled eggs, but they are always an added protein plus! One honorary note, is the kimchi. I like kimchi, don't love it, but this was the best kimchi I have ever had. I even ordered a side to go. Another cool thing is the food is cooked fresh, right in front of you. Tbh, we were the only ones in there at 6 PM and food took quite a while, but I appreciate and prefer freshness over quickness always. The rice pudding is light and the homemade refunded sugar-free caramel addition makes it so much better. As there were only two options of dessert on the menu (rice pudding & matcha ice cream) I decided to give it a go although I'm not really a fan of rice pudding. Was it amazing? No. Would I get it again? Possibly. This place was on the pricier side I would say. My bowl of maitake mushroom w/chicken (added chicken being a $6.50 dollar up charge) was $34. Worth it for that price point? Not really, but good none the less. I also ordered a small side of kimchi (the small clear containers) and that was $7 which I think is crazy, but also it was good. For a better price point, I might've asked for a jar lol. Customer service- the workers were nice, but not really personable, which I don't really care for much, but bringing this up because there was this sense that maybe I shouldn't be in there or they just possibly didn't want to work. I tipped nonetheless, but for being the only couple or people in there I thought we would be greeted by everyone, just a simple acknowledgement, but it felt more like we were bothering them by walking in. I understand that people have their days and you have no clue what someone is going through personally, but it was distinct enough to mention- especially as someone who never really comments on the customer service aspect. I see through it cuz the food was great! Something about it was also just a let down, but I can't put my finger on it. Although it was good, I don't see myself frequenting this place. Maybe the price point is deterring me, but I do think it's worth a try!

The ambiance is not that great even though there's a big space and there was a lot of junk sitting around the place like extra stock of drinks and boxes all over the place. I don't think people really eat-in here. When I did takeout, it was still not worth the price of other similar restaurants in the area. Also this place doesn't have combinations sold together -- you have to buy rice on the side for EVERY dish which is not a traditional way to serve each dish in general. The prices here are not worth trying it - way overpriced and overcharged! Should be more affordable since we do not get the rice with the combination plates.
