This is an amazing local ice cream spot! The workers are always very friendly! It gets super busy during the summer. Parking can be an issue sometimes when it's busy. It's a cute establishment. They have some of the creamiest and most flavorful ice creams I've had in tri state area. My favorite flavor is the black sesame hard ice cream. I had it around the time they first opened up, but they haven't brought it back recently. They definitely need to bring it back! Our next favorites have to be their ube, mint chip and pistachio hard ice cream! We sometimes get the brownie sundae. It hits the spot especially if you're hungry and craving something really sweet. If you don't need a huge dessert you can enjoy a kiddie size that is consists of one flavor. The regular size can be up to two flavors and I sometimes share it with my wife. First off, they're open YEAR ROUND, and rotate seasonal flavors. AND they offer vegan options, too! This is your one stop shop for the whole family who has all sorts of dietary restrictions. I especially like that they even have coffee which means....bring on the AFFOGATOS! That's right- pick any ice cream to pair with a shot (or 2) of espresso. My daughter is allergic to peanuts so, naturally, I stay away from those flavors. Thus far, my go-to is the Cookie Monster. I don't know what they put in there, but it's by far one of the best version of this fun flavor I've ever had, both on it's own OR served as an Affogato! As for J, he usually opts for the butter pecan, or will occasionally get a milkshake, depending on how he's felling. We love stopping here on the way home from the beach! I asked the woman for a gluten free vanilla, and when she turned to inform the staff scooping of change/sanitation and safety, I was in shock but moreover experiencing such a calming moment as my son with Celiac is safe here. I was pleased to find that they had four Vegan flavors along with several gluten-free options and a wide selection of dairy-based flavors. For my order, I decided to one the non-vegan options. I ordered nutty nana, cookie monster, rocky road, and ube. The price was excellent, and the staff accurately took my order and delivered the ice cream promptly. The seating arrangement was entirely outdoor and there is a restroom. The atmosphere was quiet. It was a weekday and there was a line. One suggestion I have is to add more pretzels and marshmallows to the Rocky Road Flavor so that every scoop would include all ingredients.
