It's a cute establishment. They have some of the creamiest and most flavorful ice creams I've had in tri state area. My favorite flavor is the black sesame hard ice cream. I had it around the time they first opened up, but they haven't brought it back recently. They definitely need to bring it back! Our next favorites have to be their ube, mint chip and pistachio hard ice cream! We sometimes get the brownie sundae. It hits the spot especially if you're hungry and craving something really sweet. If you don't need a huge dessert you can enjoy a kiddie size that is consists of one flavor. The regular size can be up to two flavors and I sometimes share it with my wife. If you're visiting the area it's a MUST STOP DESTINATION!

Food: I had a caramel sundae, which was a large serving and absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was super aesthetically pleasing, making it feel like a special treat. Service: Service was quick and efficient, with staff helping us promptly and getting our food out even faster. Everything ran smoothly, and the team seemed friendly and well-organized. Aesthetic: The shop has a beautiful barn-style design with a hangar-like feel, a cool fountain, and an amazing outdoor space. It's the perfect spot to enjoy ice cream on a nice day.

It was very well lit inside. We got our food pretty quick. I got a grilled cheese burger which was delicious and cheesy fries. They had amazing old bay fries and my mom got a burger which was good. They said it would take 15 minutes and it exactly took 15 minutes!

The ice cream, soft serve, and frozen dessert choice variety is fantastic, despite the price being astronomical and varying greatly every time I go. The addition of the burger bar felt gimmicky at first, but they really put out delicious quality food. Here's my issue that's making it incredibly painful every time I now visit the dairy bar. Let me start with saying Margate is a special place in the summer. The town is overflowing with families ready to spend money, including their teen aged kids. Margate teens don't have a lot of places outside their house to hang out anymore. With the beach curfew and the club wa crack down, the kids are more spread out and looking for somewhere to go that isn't their parent's house. I am NOT asking the dairy bar to be the new club wa, or the place where all the teenagers can hang out without buying anything. But my god, the hostile environment that is created by going over the loud speaker and saying "if you're not a paying customer or giving money to MY buisness, get off MY picnic tables/get out of MY lines/get off MY sidewalk" and "this isn't a free park, it's a business. Buy something or leave," said with the most condescending tone, makes me want to football spike my ice cream cone on the perfectly power washed sidewalk. I mean my god, MOST of these kids have their parents Amex cards. Should you tell the kids to cut it out if there's 10 of them trying to flip over a table at peak business time? If they're vaping into your window at your employees? Absolutely. Do you need to chase every group of kids away before they step foot in line or ask if they can use the bathroom? Maybe not. One of my favorite memories is going to the dairy bar and listening to the jazz band in a long line to get birthday cake ice cream. Another one is being a teenager with my friend, getting cups of water, and sharing one water ice among 2 of us because we spent most of our allowance money for the week already. The hostile and uninviting environment that has been created and seems to be way more aggressive this year than past is not only unappealing, it's borderline disturbing. If your greatest enemy is a 14 year old boy with a supreme backpack and an alo sweatshirt, maybe you should think about your priorities. Treating teenagers as disrespectfully as possible and being surprised when they treat you the same back shouldn't be that shocking. This place that has some of my most cherished memories is now a cringe fest. Being a little kinder to the clientele (even if they aren't buying something until their parents finish dinner at Steve and cookies) and trying to limit your "zingers" at gen z over the loudspeaker could be beneficial to decreasing the god awful vibes you've created. Hope you can work on that, and maybe adding rum raisin to the menu.
