The taste was on point just like with Dairy Queen, not too sweet, and I'll be returning sometime. I just wish their ice cream had more butterfat and less stabilizer. The service is really nice and attentive. Better than most ice cream shops and stands. Many people want to rush you but I've been here probably 6 times and they let you take your time. Wow. Quite possibly the best custard I have ever eaten. We were in town for a basketball tournament and found Little's on yelp. They were very busy, but the line moved fast. Serving size is quite large, so consider ordering a small. They are cash only, but have an atm onsite. It was a little cooler outside, so we ended up eating in the car, but they do have tables outside. There menu is extensive as well. I'm glad we live far away, or we would be fat from Little's custard! read more

I usually come to NJ at least once a year to visit family, and I always look forward to visiting Little's! I've been coming here since I was a child (and my dad has been coming here since he was a child), and it's genuinely the best soft serve ice cream that you can get - EVER. The people who work here are always so kind too! I love getting just plain soft serve, but some other favorites are the rice crispie flurry, cookie dough flurry, or a waffle cone dipped in cherry! Decent window only spot offering a variety of cool treats. The piña-colada water-ice I tasted didn't have rind, and wasn't what I'm used to in South Philly (obviously), but it was pretty flavorful and certainly hit the spot after a beach day nearby with the pup on Longport, so no complaints, really. The kiddos very much enjoyed their cavity inducing candy and cookie filled cups... Little one went for the 'worms in a cup' because what kid can resist gummy worms (iiikkkk!) especially when they're shoved in some Oreo "dirt" with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and topped with a cherry! She thought this was the coolest! The also have a bunch of other creative sundaes too! I dug the name 'Super Bowl Sundae'. Cute. Big one went for Little's version of a DQ "Flurry" with vanilla soft serve and tons of Oreos. She also loved hers. For $10 or so (cash only) we were all satisfied. Perfect way to cap off a day in the heat. They also offer gelati, something called a "glacier", which essentially looked like gelati, but it's made with slushee instead of water ice. They have soft serve, treats you would get from the ice cream man like Chipwhich, Choco Taco and character pops, hand dipped ice cream, snacks such as pretzel bites and nachos and milkshakes too. They have an impressive list of toppings, which include JIMMIES!!! Major points for this!! THEY'RE JIMMIES in these parts, dammit! There's bound to be something at Little's to satisfy everyone in your crew. Nice variety. A few picnic tables, some with umbrellas. No restrooms. I really loved the giant (Kinda creepy. Kinda cool) California Raisin looking dude towering above the joint! Thanks for that childhood flashback! Would definitely visit again. I loved their soft serve! Tastes so delicious! I've lived in the area almost my entire life and never came across or heard of this place till recently. I was happy to find it! The locals know it's 2 lines....so if we go to the second line that is shorter sometimes we get berated by the people I the longer line. EVERYTIME I visit my folks we cannot head home without stopping for my favorite--an Oreo Flurry with Chocolate Soft Serve! Literally--this is the BEST Soft Serve I have ever had in my life. Best ice cream place I've ever been to. Imagine Dairy Queen plus every other specialty ice cream parlor you've ever been to all rolled into one little roadside stand. If Little's doesn't offer it, it probably doesn't exist. Great hard ice cream, soft ice cream, mix-ins, sundaes, water ice, frozen novelties, specialty cones and bowls, all reasonably priced and oh so good. We camp nearby and go several times a summer. I hate the seating and wish they had a real indoor dining room but that's a minor quibble when all of your ice cream dreams are right at hand. Love, love, love it! read more

Little's Dairy Bar is a multi-generation owned business that has been operating since I was a child. Their ice cream and snacks are the best in town! I REALLY mean they are the best in town. There are a few other dairy bars around the corner, but there is no comparison to Little's.My family goes to Little's at least 2-3 time a month during the hot summer months and enjoys their treats. My favorite is a medium twist in a waffle cone chocolate dipped. I miss them since they are closed for the season, but spring is just around the corner. :) read more
