First off, everything I've ever had here has been delicious. The dough and toppings all are tasty and seem fresh. Customer service on the phone has always been excellent, friendly, and accommodating. However.... guys, the crust NEEDS to be a little thicker you GOTTA cook your pies longer. I know it's supposed to be a giant thin crust pizza, but crust should have a little bit of crisp to it. I grew up on the East Coast where pizza is an art form, and you guys are soooo close! I've had to ask for my pies well done whenever I order and they never seem to follow through. We unknowingly entered the restaurant at closing time. We are a family with 2 kids who were famished after a stressful soccer game. The man at the front (possibly owner?) welcomed us in and offered to make us a pizza. We happily took his last 3 slices and a salad. He allowed us to eat at the table, as we had a long journey home. I drove by it for almost 4 years before trying it. My mistake. The crust is light and crispy, the sauce is spectacular and the way they balance the cheese is nothing short of amazing. Called in to get opinion on size order since they have so many options. Ended up ordering one size lower on one of the pizzas since we ended up with additional side orders. It was the perfect amount. Excellent Pizza. I grew up near New Haven, CT and was born in New Jersey so I know good pizza and this is good pizza, especially for Texas. The guys that work there are very friendly and everything always comes out perfect and in a reasonable amount of time, even at peak times when they are very busy. It is small inside so you might not have the most amount of room to sit down and eat if it is busy but it is 100% worth it to stop here or even get to go. Hidden gem. Lakeway/bee cave area seriously lacks in restaurants, and it took me about 7 years to discover this place. Great pizza, HUGE slices. Great, fresh ingredients, and a chill vibe. I happened to pull into the shell convenience store in this same strip for gas and snacks so we could head out to Spicewood for a day on the boat, then I saw a sign for pizza out of the corner of my eye. I can never resist pizza! They had a sign out front that informed they sold it by the slice, which was perfect. I went in to find a cute little spot with plenty of seating, a TV and pinball machine. It seemed like a fun family friendly place. For less then $7 I got 2 slices with a drink - not bad at all! I got the pepperoni and pachanga. The pachanga had pepperoni, sausage, red onion and jalapenos - it was spicy and super tasty! The slices were huge and considering that sometimes you can get crust that is flimsy or floppy and not cooked all the way through. Their crust was thin, cooked well and study which I am a fan of! I do not live in the area, but they do deliver to those that do. If you happen to be in the area or stopping through I would consider stopping and checking this pizza spot out! read more

As someone who lived in NYC/Northern NJ for 13 years, and Austin for nearly 4 years (and eaten more pizza than most), I'm quite qualified to say that Jersey Giant Pizza is the best NY/NJ style pizza in the Austin area. If you're used to typical Austin (or Texas) pizza, and those places downtown that purport to be NY/NJ style pizza, this will be a bit of a change -- but this, folks, is what pizza in NJ REALLY tastes like. If you're an NYC ex-pat like me, you'll never go elsewhere. Jersey Giant Pizza joins Wholly Bagel as *THE* Austin oases for tri-state area refugees. Yes, this is better than Home Slice -- MUCH better and more authentic. The place is much nicer and cleaner than the exterior of the gas station mini-mall would lead you to expect. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. Initially, the prices seemed a bit high, but the small subs and the smaller pizzas are much more substantial than you're used to, so you certainly get your money's worth. read more

When I want good pizza, I order Jersey Giant. The ingredients are fresh and it's noticeable. I absolutely adore all of the staff that I have encountered. It really says a lot about a business when the employees are not only friendly, but have the best attitudes and sincerely thank you for your order. I'm not sure how they have managed to have such great employees, but cheers to them for it! The pizza is great. Giant is in the name for a reasons! Based on the size of the pie, you are definitely getting your monies worth. I recommend the family special (pickup only) which is a specialty pizza and a plain cheese pizza for about $30. These pizzas are huge (18 inch) and actually the smallest they offer! They have some great lunch specials with fantastic pricing. The meatball sub is excellent and for lunch it comes with chips and a fountain drink for less than $8. Great portion size- I couldn't finish it even though I wanted to! read more
