    Turkey club melt Sub
    Kristen M.

We are in Austin for the week and decided pizza would be an easy win for the kids so we settled on Jersey Giant. The place is smaller but there is seating for probably up to 15 ish inside then a few more at picnic tables outside. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered 2- 18" pizzas - 18 inches is WAY larger than you think, we had way more than we needed plus my husband got the turkey club melt sub. Food took awhile to come, maybe 20-30 minutes- that's par for the course with freshly made so we didnt mind. Our pizzas came out HOT and delicious! My husbands sandwich came out shortly after and he devoured it. The pizzas had fresh ingredients and tasted great! My family of four could have easily gotten by with just 1 pizza but you live and you learn lol

This spot is next to a gas station it's small but the decor is awesome with pictures of old movies and actors ( ie Sorpranos, Goodfellas) all things New York. Service is great friendly and fast. The pizza is the star of the show of course. It's a very large slice of pizza and affordable. The taste of this " fuggetaboutit" it's scrumptious do your tastebuds a favor come grab a slice maybe two you will not be sorry you'll be back for more . I know I will be !!

The pizza here was excellent, we ordered several huge 24" pizzas and a lot of wings as a take-out for 24 people. Everything was delicious, very highly recommended!

Crispy crust, zero grease, and full-on flavor! Walked into Jersey Giant Pizza expecting gas station vibes... walked out questioning my entire life up to this point. I ordered just two slices (pepperoni and Hawaiian because I like chaos), and let me tell you -- the crust? So perfectly crispy I almost proposed to it. The grease? Nonexistent. Like it ghosted the pizza completely, and I'm here for that kind of drama. Bonus points: No floppy New York slice syndrome. These slices held their own like they were doing pushups in the oven. I'm not saying this pizza changed my life... but I am saying I might name my next pet after it. 10/10 would abandon all future diet plans here again.

Five star just for how filling and huge and value-for-money this pizza place is. I think the quality of the pizza itself might be more like a 4/5 but when you add in the fact that the pizza is so worth the price, has their own delivery service, and 1.5 slices can fill you up, it's definitely a 5/5 at that point. This place says it's Jersey style pizza but my friend from NJ says it's closer to NYC. I don't know if it really matters though because we're in TX and everything is bigger here, including the pizzas apparently. This photo can't properly demonstrate how large this pizza is but the pizza box is completely covering me! They also let you split the pizza half and half for combos, which is definitely needed for how big the pizzas are. Great pizza to get for a party, that's for sure!

First time here, but as others have stated, without a doubt the best pizza in and around Austin. We have driven by many times but never when they are open but today, as we drove by I saw the lights and made a quick U-turn to give them a try. So glad we stopped! As others have pointed out, they clearly make their sauce. This is one of my biggest complaints from other places who use a very bland tasting sauce. But not here; the sauce alone makes the pizza! But their dough, thin and just the right amount of crispiness. Not so hard like a pretzel but not soft like uncooked pizza dough from most other places. The cheese is amazing! They are using real cheese and you can tell by the "stretchiness" of their cheese. This time we just had a slice of pepperoni and it really was amazing! We are looking forward to trying one of their pies with more ingredients as well. I hope as this area grows... they will partner with Uber Eats or Grub Hub. Bottom line, if you are in the area, make sure to stop off like we did and you'll be convinced how amazing this pizza is.

But not the case here I was treated very well and the mimosa came out fantastic which is the way I like it I ordered the mushroom Were absolutely delicious and it had the sauce red sauce Italian style with bread. Fantastic I also ordered the medium size meat lovers pizza New York style. Okay so it features as NY style but in reality more like New York version style. Came out hot and delicious, honestly it was very large for a medium. If you have eaten at I recommend highly you have to try it it's really good food and you can't miss it it's usually busy on the weekends but if you go for lunch time it's a little bit mellow down and sometimes not you have to do a hit or miss to find where it's not too crowded. They do have an outdoor seating if you like but because of the heat in August I don't think a lot of people want to sit outside. Park in very easy here handicap the works so come out and see what I'm talking about the food is really good including the pizza. Happy yelping!!

The only reason for 4 stars is for a bit of a rude service experience we had when trying to get seated. We were a group of 10, seat yourself and put your number down style. No tables had 10 seats but 2 tables right next to each other had 6 and 4. So we began to sit at those. Guy comes up and immediately aggressively "you don't need to do all that sit here (points at table with 8 chairs)". I say well we have 10 so we would need a couple more chairs. He's like "you could have just asked". We were literally just trying to be less of a hassle and I don't understand what's the "all that" we were doing in the context. Honestly it feels bad to even note this because of how good the rest of the experience was.

Unfortunately, our experience this time didn't quite live up to the first. We arrived around 4:00 PM and were told the dinner menu didn't start until 5:00 PM, which was completely fine. We decided to order appetizers/salads from the lunch menu instead and wait until 5 to order our meals. All three of us ordered the Cleopatra salad, which was listed at $16 on the lunch menu. We expected it to either be really good or at least a substantial portion for that price. Unfortunately, we all found it overly sweet from the combination of the honey dressing, candied pecans, and cranberries, and there was very little feta. To make matters worse, we later noticed that we were charged $18 per salad, the dinner price, even though we ordered them around 4:20 PM. Paying $54 for three small, appetizer-sized salads with very few toppings was extremely disappointing. We were also told they were out of sangria because they had sold out the night before and hadn't had time to make more. It was a Saturday, so that was another disappointment, especially because we had really enjoyed the sangria during our previous visit. The biggest disappointment, however, was the shrimp scampi. Our waiter was very kind and actually recommended it, so I was looking forward to trying it. I almost never send food back to the kitchen, but this was one of those occasions. The shrimp were plain and steamed with no seasoning, and the pasta appeared to have no sauce or flavor. When I moved the pasta aside, there was a watery yellow liquid at the bottom that tasted very bland. For $29, I expected much more, and this is an Italian place after all. I ended up ordering the Fettuccine Giulio Cesare instead, which was much better and had considerably more flavor. That said, the lasagna and cheesecake are definitely the way to go here -- both were delicious. I just wish the overall menu were more consistent. When prices are on the higher end, you expect the quality and execution of the dishes to be consistent as well. It's frustrating to have some dishes that are absolutely delicious while others feel underwhelming or simply not worth the price. We really wanted to love our return visit as much as the first, so it was disappointing to leave feeling this way. Hopefully some of these things can be addressed, because there is clearly a lot of potential here and some truly great food.

That's the reason my rating wasn't 5 Star. Because the restaurant was pretty empty on this Saturday afternoon, I feel the Chef shouldn't have sent out fries that weren't piping hot.
