The itallian sub can nearly feed a family for days... well not really but its HUGE. The 6 inch is a LOT of food. My hubs eats a lot and can typically finish 1/2. The 12 inch is the size of a small baby jesus. Wood fired pizzas are delish. We've had the meat combo and margherita pies. Med will easily feed 2. Brussel sprout salad was good if you like that veg. They have a patio area for the fall or if you want to try and sweat your food away in the summer they turn on the misters. Service can be hit or miss at times. It may just be how they run things? You have to ask for things.. the service isn't proactive (i used to wait tables in college). Sports tvs all over the walls and outside. Plenty of parking. I indulged for lunch today. I ordered a Half pie supreme from Toss Pizzeria!!! The Ingredients are super fresh! I opted for the crushed tomato sauce. Perfectly tangy with loads of flavor. I could literally taste each ingredient on this pie, but the magic is when the flavors start to mingle with one another. Wowza! The pizza crust tastes so amazing! I just love this place! Cauliflower crust keto pizza is sooo good. Always just like we order it! You won't believe the nice crispy crust and just enough toppings. The highlight of this was the warm brussels sprouts, beet, goat cheese, and candied pecan salad with a balsamic reduction drizzled on top. I asked for dressing on the side since I was getting it to go, and appreciated the ability to choose the amount I put on while also preventing the salad getting squishy from sitting too long. The pizza was good, but not remarkable, and I was a little disappointed by the scarcity and size of the toppings. The flavors blended well, though, and it was not overly cheesy. I got this to go from their curbside parking set-up. In theory you enter your name and spot on the website when you get there, but from what I could tell they were either super busy inside or it was not being monitored. Another car was there to pick up at the same time and we both sat there for around 5 minutes before she went in and I phoned the restaurant. They sent someone out to my car immediately, so they definitely get points for responsiveness. From what I could tell it's kind of rustic chic meets sports bar inside, with many tvs. They have an astroturf outdoor area with some seating, but nobody was using it at that time. Would definitely stop by for takeout again, but not sure it's my kind of sit-down place. Overall good quality food for a decent price. The pizza was expensive for what it was, while the beet salad is right on what I would think for a salad of that size. We really enjoyed Toss Pizzeria! We were looking for a spot near our hotel in Lakeway and ended up here. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! We started with some garlic knots and we were pleasantly surprised with the massive knots! The dough was nice and fluffy, good flavor, and the garlic butter sealed the deal. We went with a spinach artichoke pizza. The crust was thin and crisp, chicken wasn't tough, and the toppings were all distributed nicely. The flavor combination was a joke run for us, and the left overs made a good breakfast! The staff was all super helpful and on top of things as well! Comparable to Home Slice and that's one of my favorite pizzerias in ATX. Decided to check out this new spot last night for date night since we live down the street. Was surprised to see it so crowded even though it just opened. We were seated immediately and from there on out, service was great even though they were very busy. We were continually checked on to make sure we had everything we needed. Ordered the wedge salad and made our own large pie with mushroom and meatballs as the toppings. First thing first: the pizza is excellent. Some of the best in Austin. There are normal, gluten free, and cauliflower options. Inside there are plenty of large screen TVs. If you find the area noisy there is plenty of seating outside with a play area for kids and a Ping-pong table. Toss offers a good craft and local beer selection, plus a few cocktails and liquor including margaritas and Tito's. The menu offers more than pizza: there is stromboli, calzones, and wings. We found Toss through Yelp during it's soft open. We drove past 3 pizza joints to get here and I am so glad we did. The vibe is perfect for a nice but casual night. This is our second time here and after our first interaction I was so excited to bring my parents along! But sadly this time wasn't the best "customer service". We sat at the bar like normal, didn't get menus until we asked, had to ask another front of house waitress for silverware to eat our salad,(Emily was her name I believe), we had to flag down the bartender to order our food (which came out wrong) and refills of beer. The worst part was when we had to yell across the restaurant for help because BOTH bartenders and the manager were playing around with the bar towels in the far corner. It wasn't busy at all. In an area inundated with pizza places we were reticent to try it but once I saw Gluten Free options and cauliflower crust I thought we'd give it a spin. Located next to my favorite nail salon, PKN the remodel is well done and a fun place to catch a game on the numerous TVs. The patio area looks nice for a rare cool day but we chose to sit at the bar. I TRULY appreciate that the actual bar seating is 21 and up. Sadly most of the parents in the area don't understand that some people would like a quiet respite away from their squealing offspring and most places allow kids to use outdoor voices and infiltrate the bar area. So it was a welcoming sight to see seato g for adults only so we could relax as a couple and discuss the stresses of the day over a craft cocktail and tasty pizza. We both tried the 10 inch pie. We got the four cheese pizza with fresh basil and a sampler on the cauliflower crust. The original crust was good and just slightly bland, but I prefer a bubbly, Neapolitan style with thinner style blistered crust so it's all subjective. The cauliflower crust was a nice surprise! Had a very good savory profile and even my cauliflower adverse spouse thought it was the winner and looks forward to trying it again. They have a nice jalapeño, pineapple infused tequila which went nicely with club soda. The pizza here was incredibly tasty. The absolutely perfect texture crust you could ask for! Their food is made from scratch so that is another added plus I appreciate! I want to give them a five star sooo badly since they're new and food is delicious. However, sadly I cannot do that in good conscience. Our server, Victoria, definitely needs more practice. The service was soooo slow. The only other thing I would like to note is if you are of the larger bottomed population, like myself, the red chairs they have (while very attractive) are extremely uncomfortable. I'm forced to give one star. I'm a laid back guy, never really complained about any place on Yelp. This is my first bad review. Pizza is probably the best for the area. Service sucks. Been here multiple times and I've put up with the bad service over and over saying nothing because the pizza is the best in the area. I reached my limit. Employees never pay attention when you walk in, service takes forever, (I have always noticed you have tons of delivery/pickup orders but if you're going to run this business take care of the people that come into eat and staff up. I've ordered here over 10 times in person and by phone and still to this day have not had your pepperoni pretzel because you are always sold out.
