We just picked up a wrong order-again! I had called the order in. I stated I want 3 halves of subs. The first two are bacon cheeseburger SUBS with lettuce, tomato and mayo. The third half of SUB is turkey with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo with hot peppers on the side. When we got there we were given 2 cheeseburgers on round rolls and 1 half of sub. We had called in an order they messed up about 6 months ago and we thought it was a one time thing. Jersey Jerry has delicious subs. I'd venture to say they are the best in Vineland. We stopped in because of the YELP reviews. Upon pulling up, we were somewhat puzzled as it looked more like a produce store. However, once we walked in, we realized that there was a deli and a few tables set up to eat lunch. It did not look like much but the food was surprisingly good. We both has a cheese steak (one would have been more then enough to split). The sandwich was packed with meat and cheese and could have easily made another sandwich. I love cheesesteaks and previously had a favorite place to go to. However, now Jerry's is my favorite. I've been there a number of times now, also getting other types of subs. They have always been filled with meat, and tasty doing so. Some places can load a sub with meat that is junky or doesn't taste good, going for quantity over quality. I've also been to places where the meat is good but there's too little of it. So far, this place has the best of both worlds. I hope that continues, unlike one place I used to go to before they cheaped out. The deli shares a building with a camera shop, and is unimpressive on the outside. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to know there was a deli there at all. It's sort of a "local secret" type of place due to this. However, to judge the place by the outside would do it a disservice. As far as I'm concerned, there's no better place in Cumberland County for subs. I ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad, cheesesteak, and Italian sub from door dash. I stated that I only want lettuce, chicken, and dressing with the salad. It arrives with every vegetable on the salad and no dressing. The person I ordered the salad for is allergic to onions due to a disease. I called to make them aware of the mistake on the order and the person who answered the phone starts cursing and was very unprofessional. He told me he would bring another salad with the correct instructions. The salad never arrived. They didn't call me to tell me they weren't bringing it they just said they would bring it and never did. The cheesesteak was the worst cheesesteak I ever had. If subs is your go to food then this is the place to go. I'm from florida where we get our subs from Publix. A year ago we moved up north and since then i've gotten my subs from many places mostly from Wawa. I have not yet found a place better than Publix until today. When we pulled up i thought it was going to be a run down hole in the wall. I shouldn't judge a book by its cover because when we walked in the place was huge and had everything! The subs were made fast and fresh. They have this fruit dip that i've been looking everywhere for next to mixed fruits. They have chips, drinks, everything you're looking for to have for lunch. I had so many people tell me to try them out. They are getting four stars because the food is great, but ordering it was a hassle. I called and ordered two cheese steaks and a large fry. I got two cheese steaks and no fries. I work with food, i get it, it can be busy. I went in and said I didnt want a refund or anything just to replace the sub with fries. The subs were fantastic! The bread is fresh baked and the portions are large. Great deli and also has fresh produce. The staff were friendly and the restaurant has a great well-kept secret feel to it since the actual deli is in the back of a regular, if small, grocery store. Feels very mom and pop. The only thing that I could say that was maybe subpar was the fact that they have very little seating. Ordered an Italian sub, asked for no oregano, sweet peppers and hots on the side and light mayo... we got the complete opposite of everything we asked for and no peppers came on the side. Roll was soggy and mush and the amount of onions they put on was insane. I've been ordering from this place for months, the food is not consistent and the people running the register can't comprehend that different people may pay for different sandwiches.
