Ordered on the app. I had to grab my own drink and chips because they didn't put it with my order. The bread was stale and crumbly. It wasn't cut all the way through, so when I pulled the two pieces apart, the meat slid out. The meat was rubbery and didn't taste right. The sweet tea was not fresh and was almost clear. The Customer Service was awful!! My Sister and I came to Ashland and thought we would go to Jersey Mikes. Big Mistake!!! First of all, it was steamy inside because the air conditioning wasn't working. So I proceeded to order, and the guy seemed nice at first. He sliced the meat and cheese for my sub then a young woman proceeded to make it. The young man took my sister's order. She asked him if they had pepper Jack cheese and his response was " we have provolone,Swiss and cheddar. If you want pepper jack you need to go Subway." One of the co-workers said something and he said that he doesn't even care. Extremely RUDE!!! Then talking about how their bread is freshly baked and subways isn't. Mobile App Order #01-000205-99-051993.Yesterday, my office received some coupons from Jersey Mikes franchise 708 England Street, Ashland. I ordered my husband and my food for pick up so once it was ready it was grab and go! I grabbed the bag in the online order shelf with my name on it looked inside saw two sandwiches and drove home. Once I got home, I started to eat my sandwich, but did not like the bacon on it (ordered 2 club sandwiches), the bacon was kind of burnt and messed up the sandwich, so I took it off and showed it to my husband. He looked at it and then realized that his club did not have bacon on it at all. He asked me to call the store to complain. I called, spoke to a very nice and apologetic associate named Sydney, she asked if I could bring the sandwich back so that they can make another one, I advised her that I live over 30 minutes away. She said that she understands and that I could come in to get a correct Club sandwich the next day, I advised I won't be in the office until Wednesday, so she said that she would leave a note for me to pick it up on Wednesday. I thanked her for offering to make it right and told her I would be there on Wednesday to get my husband his correct sandwich. He loves subs so he'll be happy. Today, I received a call from a "manager" she of course did not give me her name, called from 804-798-6290 at 11:02am, and told me that, she saw the note that was left for me to pick up a Club sandwich on Wednesday@ 5pm, but that I would have to bring in the sandwich that did not include bacon, as it was not made wrong, it just did not have bacon on it. I advised her that I live over 30 minutes away so that I would not be able to bring in a 3-day old sandwich (order was on Monday, 11/6@5pm and I was told I could pick up the do-over on Wednesday, 11/8@5pm). Of course, I do not plan to keep or carry around an old sandwich for three days, so it was dinner, my husband ate it, he waasn't happy with it but it was dinner. So, then she told me that I could come in on Wednesday to BUY another Club sandwich and they would add extra bacon. As their policy is either for me to bring in the sandwich (she repeated it was not made wrong, it just did not have bacon on it). The manager did not want us to have another "free" sandwich unless my husband did not eat the other one. That is absolutely ridiculous! I used a Bogo coupon only because it was placed in my hand. Someone like Syndney would be a great manager, she should be promoted, not disciplined, and she deserves her JOB! As the manager, the mean lady went out your way to take back what was already told to me, like it was my fault! Then after alot of back and forth, said that "to make me happy she will give me another sandwich". No thank you! As a manager myself, good customer service would have been to still give me the "redo" sandwich, on behalf of your franchise apologize for the mistake (actually admit that), even though your policy is for the customer to bring back the incorrect sandwich, in order to receive a new sandwich or give extra of the item that was left off the sandwich, next time. (because the old sandwich would have still been eaten by or thrown in the trash, which the manager apparently preferred for it to be thrown away than eaten). That way, as the customer, I would not be totally pissed off at your unprofessional attitude and distaste of that franchise. If you just had to call, you could have said "We are still planning to make your sandwich on Wednesday, but just so you know, our policy is not throwing away food so that the customer does not get to eat it in order for us to agree to make another sandwich), for next time, but to renege on what a customer was already told. Ordered my sub on the app and took 50 minutes to get my sandwich people were coming and going ordering in front of me going and getting a sub and leaving within 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I went inside and asked where my food was and apparently they had lost my order then they found it again and made my sandwich. I got home only to find that they made the sandwich incorrectly with the wrong bread and wrong ingredients by then I was so hungry I ate it anyway but I doubt I ever go back it was once one of my favorite spots in Ashland read more

I love Jersey Mike's in general but the high school kids working here Thanksgiving weekend gave a really bad impression - generally not so bright (exception was the blonde girl with thick eyelashes, she totally got it and is hopefully shift supervisor) nor accurate nor quick. This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's because we don't have them where we live, and we were in town for the night staying at a nearby hotel. Ordered on their website and picked up in the store. When we got back to the hotel we found our order was all wrong. Three sandwiches were all supposed to be on wheat but they were all on white. Ingredients on the sandwiches were also wrong. We were tired and hungry so ate them anyway. There were no napkins in the bag at all, which was annoying. But the worst part is that I think the meat was not fresh. Turkey was slimy and afterwards we all had some symptoms that seemed like mild food poisoning. So that was my first and LAST Jersey Mike's experience. read more

Two times I have ordered online at this location in an attempt to save some time on my lunch break, and both times have taken longer than it would have if I had just walked in the door. More recently, I placed my order online 15 minutes prior to even leaving work to ensure it would be ready when I arrived. I walked in the door and they not only had half of the size sub I ordered, they didn't have all the toppings I ordered either. I spent 15 minutes standing at the counter waiting for them to figure out what went wrong, and THEN waiting for them to make to correct sandwich. What should've been a 25 minute lunch break turned into 10 minutes. I'm not sure if this was technical error on their part, (luckily the order confirmation email saved me from a lot of hassle) but that's 2 times I've ordered online and gotten the wrong thing when I walk in the door. I don't trust this location enough to order online again, but for your sake I hope that the entire process isn't nearly as frustrating as it was for me. read more

This place was so bad! We stopped here on our way to Virginia Beach from Michigan. Our son has food allergies and We asked if their bread had eggs in it to which one employee responded "I don't know" and then looked at another who said "I don't know." And they just stood there looking at us until I prompted "is there a package you can check?" And the look on all the employees faces was priceless annoyance. So someone begrudgingly went to check as we tried to order our subs. It's ok if they don't love their job but this place really takes the cake. The Mikes in Ashland is a little bit on the mediocre side. The Maryland shops have better subs and friendlier service.

These guys are the best. They're quick and friendly and keep the place clean. What more could you want? The portions are good too.

My favorite sandwich shop. While Jimmy Johns gives these guys a run for their money, Jersey Mikes comes out on top for me. The bread, fresh sliced meats and cheeses are always great. I am a RMC student who received a coupon to try a sub here. I figured why not, so I stopped in for lunch today. I was expecting good food but nothing out of this world. Much to my surprise, my cheesesteak was amazing!! The service was prompt- under 10 minutes. There was another customer who had done an online order but accidentally sent it to the wrong store. The employee that was working with her made her order there so she didn't have to drive, all without seeming like this was out of his way.
