    Making sandwiches

Customer Service: 3 stars: i wasnt acknowledged 4.29.19 around 4pm something but i wasnt ignored when i stood in line if that makes sense. Price point: 3 stars: the giant sub should not be $14 im sorry... thats just too damn much and had a baldinos been closer i wouldve went there. A mini sandwich is $6 and its not even 1/2 a footlong. Cleanliness: 2 stars: i didnt like how the sandwich maker on duty used the rag she wiped the counter down with to clean the knife. I didnt like how she handling matters in the back and came to put toppings on the dude in front me of sandwich. Had i not told her to change her gloves she probably wouldnt have. Overall: i was in the area and needed something to eat to take my meds with. Decent location, i may come back if im in the area but i wouldnt come out of my way to go here.

"I'd like the number two, Mike's Way, please." And that's almost as long as it took to get my sandwich ordered, prepared and wrapped up. One of the great things about Jersey Mike's is that they slice the meat to order. There isn't a stack of meat separated by little bits of paper that the "sandwich artist" stuffs onto your bread. What's wrong with fresh? NUTTIN! It's a simple concept. There aren't eighteen different kinds of bread and cheese to choose from. They don't have a buffet line of veggies to add to them. Why is that needed when what they do have - lettuce, tomato, onions, hot peppers, pickles and olives - is plenty good? Oddly, my receipt says "20 ounce bottle of water" when the bottle was actually only a 16. Oh, well.

At least three of my friends worked at a Jersey Mike's in high school. I hadn't eaten at one since then (12+ years ago), until now. I stopped by this Jersey Mike's for lunch on a weekday around 12:45pm. The place was buzzing with people. Barely a seat was open and the atmosphere was a bit hectic as the workers were busy trying to fill orders as fast as possible. After 1:00pm, the traffic died down significantly. There are several office parks nearby (e.g. Wildwood) so this place gets a lot business from office workers. Jersey Mike's is an underrated sub chain IMO. Jersey-style subs are my favorite because they tend to be the tastiest. Baldino's, which also makes great subs, is the only other sandwich shop I know of in Atlanta that makes these. The subs typically include shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, and other seasonings (here they call it's "Mike's Way") which really add a lot of flavor to the sandwich. Expect to spend about $6-7 for a regular size sandwich (half a roll of bread -- almost as filling as a Subway footlong) and $10+ for a giant size sandwich (one entire roll of bread). Breads are baked fresh on-site daily and meats are sliced-to-order, something you won't find at most other chains. Jersey Mike's menu can be confusing if you don't know what the numbers next to each of the sandwiches mean. The numbers aren't sequential. I was told by a former employee that each number represents the order in which each sandwich "recipe" was released. So the #56 Big Kahuna Cheesesteak must be the 56th sandwich released by the company. They have cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and wraps. You can get any wrap as a sandwich and you can get any sandwich as a salad, i.e. no bread. They call it "Sub in a Tub." I tried two of the restaurant's most popular items, both hot sandwiches on wheat bread: #43 Chipotle Cheese Steak and the Buffalo Chicken sandwich (wrap converted in sandwich). They were quite good. The Chipotle Cheese Steak is Jersey Mike's regular Philly cheese steak with added chipotle mayo. The mayo stood out, rich and flavorful. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich came with a side of ranch dressing, which was great for dipping the sandwich into. Both sandwiches come with a lot of sauce, so be careful while eating. I really liked the bread, which was warm and soft. The staff did a nice job handling the lunch rush as sandwiches were prepared swiftly. Friendly service and 100 restaurant inspection score too.

My god this is the worst Jersey Mikes I've been to. I gave them a second chance a minute ago and that about did it. Bread/meat was cold coming off the grill? Cmon that's embarrassing. Shouldn't have to come home and put my order in the oven to heat it up. As far as the workers go, the lady that took my order wasn't even aware of the menu, I asked for a Chipotle Cheesesteak (43) and got a chipotle chicken cheesesteak. If I wanted that, I'd ask for it. Please someone recommend a jersey mikes around here worth a damn, cause I can't seem to find any. Not a big deal cause it's also just Atlanta, but this place smelled like someone hadn't unclogged the toilet in a few days.

I decided to go grab some lunch from Jersey Mike's since I had to stop by the CVS Pharmacy and it was a few doors down. I have been to this location a few times before so this wasn't anything new for me. Jersey Mikes is located in a shopping center with other restaurants and a dry cleaners. During the lunch hour the parking lot is always full and it can be hard to find a parking spot. The parking spots are also tight so you have to maneuver your car carefully getting in and out. Usually when I go here, there is a long line to order and pay and the wait can be kind of long. I was so surprised when I walked in and there wasn't a line at all. I actually walked right up and placed my order. I ordered the regular #8 Club Sub which comes with turkey, ham, provolone, applewood smoked bacon and mayo and I tried out their new Rosemary Parmesan Bread. Once I placed my order with the guy who slices the meat I then told the sandwich maker what I wanted on my sub. Every time I come here the sandwich maker has a stank ass attitude like she doesn't want to be there and everyone is getting on her nerves. No matter how nice you are to her she has the attitude. So I told her that I wanted my sandwich Mike's Way (Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil & Spices with honey mustard added). I then check out at the register and the cashier is acting very rushed almost like she's uncomfortable. She usually makes the the hot subs so I guess she was moving onto becoming a cashier. Once I finally sit down to enjoy my sub, I take a bite and realize that there isn't any bacon on my CLUB SUB!!! I was back at work and didn't have time to go back there to let them know that the bacon wasn't on there. So I basically had a ham and turkey sub. Smh! The new Rosemary Parmesan Bread was okay. There wasn't anything that stood out about it and in my opinion, Subway's Parmesan bread is better. I get coupons from here often, but after the bad experiences I've been having, I think I'm going to put them at the bottom of my list of lunch options!

The guys that work here are awesome and always very friendly and attentive! Foods always good here too and cookies fresh as ever!!!

And the wait was not very long at all. I will say that it seemed like the girl who took our order could have used some more help, she seemed a little bit overworked, but I won't deduct anything for that. Just wanted to mention it in case the business sees this. I love this spot and don't want your good workers getting burned out! The Korean corn dogs were super cool. Loved the taste. My friend got the combo, with the garlic Parmesan fries, and the fries were absolutely amazing. I have to go back immediately to try the rest of menu, lol. Oh and my mango strawberry drink was also amazing. Would order it again. They offer seasonings and sauces like ranch, honey mustard, and more. There was plenty of seating available in the Cumberland food court. Vibes were good. The parking vibes were not good but there was also a braves game happening soon, so we came at a busy time lol. And of course the business can't control that. Everything in their control was awesome. I can't recommend this spot more!!

I had my own "build your own" pizza and cheesy bread fully cooked and ready to go before my fiancé's pizza Detroit-style pizza was even started because they had no idea he ordered it. The kiosks also do not print out receipts so if you miss your order number showing up on the screen, the only proof you have may be showing that your card was charged. Thankfully we didn't have to worry about that because the staff was super nice and understanding. The menu seems the same from before they closed but the inside layout is different. Overall, it's a nice location and everything is clean. I would definitely return but I'd order online or on the app.

I've been doing takeouts from here for the past 7 years and this is my first visit since their remodel. +.   Ambiance is a bright and clean fast casual resto post their lengthy remodel. Their layout has changed slightly and the make / ingredients counter is now facing the parking lot. The menu signs are bigger and easy to read above the ingredients counter. The seating is about the same as before. ++.  Food is fast casual pizzas and make your own (MYO) individual pizzas. This location is now a TEST restaurant for Blaze which includes a fold pizza (like calzone). I came here for my usual MYO pesto, chicken, arugula pie to go. This time though I added more mushrooms. It took about 10 minutes as I didn't have any wait and got exactly what I wanted. IMO ingredients: shaved parm, fresh mozzarella, artichoke hears, roasted garlic etc., at this Blaze is higher quality and better selections than other MYO pizza restos. I saw a sign for a LARGE pizza by the door...I pretty much get their MYO individual size all the time, so I hadn't noticed they had a large option before. ++ Price is reasonable and very good value given both quality and quantity. 7 years ago, I think MYO was about $7-$8 and now (Q42025) it's a little over $12 with tax. They've kept much of the same ingredients and there's been no skimping and shrinking of the size/quantity here :) ++ Service was prompt and friendly. Staff were smiling and I felt joyful here. My experience has been, it takes about 10-15 minutes for my individualized pizzas to go in the past 7 years. It's EaSy here :)). + Parking is a shared lot in an outdoor shopping center and is free. Over all, this Blaze is my favorite fast casual pizzeria and my 3rd favorite all around Atlanta. That's saying something since there are at least a dozen pizzerias within 2 miles and many, many more within an hour of Atlanta. Enjoy! MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

I opted out of the arugula that comes on it by default. I also got their mac n' cheese, and a chocolate shake. It may be the way their brisket blend always is, but the burger patty was a bit tough or overcooked compared to what I'm used to with a standard Angus beef burger or steak burger. It also lacked seasoning, but was saved by the goat cheese and jam. The bun was ok, and it was very messy as 3 of my 4 fried green tomatoes slid out immediately along with a healthy portion of goat cheese and jam. I ate at their outdoor seating area so no biggy, but I definitely wouldn't eat this in your car. However, the fried green tomatoes were very good. The mac n cheese was mediocre and the chocolate shake was good but had an overpowering flavor of Hershey's syrup. Even though it was very busy between the cars at the drive thru and delivery drivers waiting for order pickups, my meal came out in about five minutes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I've eaten burgers all over the world and I would recommend the visit, but it doesn't rank anywhere near my top 25.
