Wow. That's all i could say. Who needs subway or quizno's? This stuff is where it's at! I came here the other day for dinner and decided to go for the chipotle cheese steak. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a flat top grill behind the counter and cooked my steak, onions and peppers to order! They seasoned everything as it was cooking and stuffed it in the bread. OH MY GOD! This was heaven. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful as well. Huge fan of jersey mikes. Fresh cut in front of you and the overall taste is not compatible with a subway or a jimmy johns. You can have it cold or warmed up for that extra fresh taste. Okay, I'll start with the good and then end with the bad. My first experience going to Jersey Mike's was today - a little bit ago actually (3pm)... I ordered the original itlatian and it was good. okay thats all with the good.... I didn't know they had a white/wheat bread option until my dad ordered after me and they asked him. I would have much rather had wheat over white. Second, they don't ever wipe down the meat slicer, so if you don't eat red meat, pork, or meat in general - you got that nice ewwy gooey all over your cheese or chicken/turkey... The cutting board they used to "dress" the sandwiches was completely filthy with wilted lettuce - so how long was that crap sitting there? exactly, i didn't know either... the woman in front of me ordered ranch on her sub - the ranch was all over the cutting board - me? HATE RANCH - they took my original italian sub and placed it in the ranch dressing, wilted lettuce, vinegar, salt, etc... i asked the guy "hey did my sandwich just get placed in the ranch?" he said "uhh [points to the other guy] did you just put that in the ranch? me: "i really do not like ranch and do not want it on the bread" other guy "uhhh i dunno" - one of the guys picks up the sandwich and says "yeah there's ranch on it" and sets it down and proceeds to ask me what id like on my sub. in response i said "can i get bread with out ranch on it and can you please clean the cutting board?" so get this I'M NOT KIDDING! the guy grabs my sub - goes over to the sink - grabs a paper towel and starts wiping the ranc, and whatever else off the sub. wipes it off with a paper towel into the sink! comes back and says "okay what did you want on it?" i replied "new bread... id like new bread with out paper towel remnants and with out ranch dressing". A huff and a puff later i get new bread, a clean cutting board, and i get the hell out of there to never go again... i can make this sandwich at home. and if you are super anal about cleanliness in a restaurant like i am - do not look at the veggie/mayo line. pickles are in the mayo with the lettuce and banana peppers. its quite a hideous site. my dad and i do not recommend going there... but then again - it could have been the nasty kids that worked there... either way - not our cup of tea... i gave it two stars and not one cause my sammich is edible and ill give their other co-workers the benefit of the doubt about service. read more

Jersey Mikes. GOOD Subs I always get it Mikes way! Its a really good place to go on your lunch break or if your in a little bit of a rush. The only thing is everytime I go to this location there is this girl that is always there. She is not very personable and she always gets my order wrong and then she gets pissy with me when I let her know its wrong. I will watch her when she makes it and she roles her eyes and mumbles to her co worker, she's probably talking smack. Crazy chicken head don't get pissed at me. I would probably go there more often if she wasn't there. read more

Oh my gosh, yes! This is what great customer service looks like. Noemi, Jorge, and Gigi were awesome. I love when you can tell a group of young individuals care about their job. I even got asked if I wanted my bacon chopped into my philly(I believe it was Noemi being the cook tonight). Now that is caring!! Just visited this new location in Southpark mall. Picked up 2 subs - an original italian and a turkey sandwich "made Mike's Way" with oil & vinegar instead of mayo / mustard. Yummy! I had a coupon, which I remembered (of course) after he rang up the lunch...no problem...cheerful service, and a clean, efficient sub spot. We took medium -sized sandwiches to a Zilker Park picnic and they were perfect. Goldilock sizes (sm, md, lg) and the medium was too big to finish! Stop by before your next park outing. read more

So there's really only thing I need to say here, Big Kahuna Cheese Steak! It's the best thing on the menu, and one of the best subs you'll ever taste. The Roast Beef is good too, but really, grab a Big Kahuna and know that you'll be satisfied. It's in the top 3 subs you will or will ever eat. read more

I had eaten Subway my whole life thinkin that it was so good til in high school my best friend got a job at Jersey Mikes. Never hearing about it made me really skeptical about trying it. But we went for lunch one day and as an employee you get half off food. So of course it was cheap lunch. No lie we went like everyday and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way its simple oill and vinegar with oregano MMMM. mikes way all the way. Anyway if i could go there everyday and be fat and eat a giant 13 all by myself i would. But as my friend doesnt work there anymore its a bit more pricey that I was used to. Still have no problem dishin out 8 bucks though. IN FACT im meeting him and another friend for brunch today. Bottom line. Jersey Mikes is amazing LOL. read more

I gave Mike's another shot and ..Yep it was really good. I went with classic cold subs and that was the key. I must have just gotten there on a bad night the first time because I've been back a few times and now I'm a fan. The Jersey Shore or Classic is a home run every time. Living in Houston I had a Jersey Mike's right by my house and went there once a week for my Chipotle Chicken on a bed of lettuce. Since moving to Austin I hadn't found one so I was excited tonight when I yelped the Southpark Meadows location tonight. I convinced everyone here to have it for dinner, placed the order over the phone then my mom picked it up. They made all of ours with steak, even though the guy repeated back to me that mine was chicken - I haven't eaten red meat in 30 years so when I just spoke to the supervisor and he suggested that I 'keep it' or he would 'remake it in chicken for the inconvenience' I suggested that he do that and refund me for the one that he got wrong. He refused, I explained that everyone else's meal would be cold by the time she got back from fixing their mistake and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I then told him we would be bringing our entire order, chips, drinks, etc back for a full refund then and he said 'fine'. Jersey Mikes... I love your Philly's but the customer service at this location sucks and we won't be back. #thumbsdown read more

I went for the first time yesterday. The place was empty but it was 400 in the afternoon, no big. I ordered a turkey and provolone, the guy didn't ask what type bread just started making it so I assumed they only had white. The entire time this "wants to be something more than he is so he's just so darn mad at the world" hes having a conversation with "boy I wish I was skinny, that'd make me happy and then he would like me" girl about how much they hate their job...not really hate making the sandwiches or the work, just how much they hate customers and which situations customers put them in they hate the most, like some lady asking for no tomato after they already put tomato on the sandwich. Great conversations to hear as I watch my food come together. I get a drink and a sub and head over to a table that needs to be wiped off, guess all the customers kept them for oh wait there wasn't any customers...The sandwich was good, if a little bland. Lots of turkey and cheese...so they get 2 stars, but I won't be spending my money with them again since I have no desire to hear the drama of their lifes shortcomings.... read more

I decided to try this place, as I've been searching for the perfect Italian sub to replace Delaware's whose south location is now closed. This place does an okay job. I really like their bread, slightly crusty on the outside and not too soft on the inside. Their vinegar and spice mixture is okay, I don't really like the red wine taste of it though, I prefer Thundercloud's oil and vinegar concoction. I also found the sizes of their sandwiches to be annoying, the 4 inch is too small and the 8 inch is too big. I settled for getting the 8 inch Italian with chips and a drink and it came out to $10, a bit pricey if you ask me. Also, the Italian does not come with hot or sweet peppers, which is a staple on an Italian sub. I guess it's a slight plus that they slice their meats in front of you, but I don't really care about actually watching them slice the meat as long as it's good quality and fresh. read more

Had a bit of a problem last night concerning an online order of 3 sandwiches. It went like this. Submitted the order at 5:50pm and the system said it would be ready at 6:10pm..Being the first time i've ordered online here, i thought this was nice. So i walk in at 6:10pm and the place is busy with 8 or so folks in line. I go up to the register and say i'm here to pickup an online order. The lady at the register, who may have been new, gave me a weird shocked/stunned look and mumbled something i couldnt understand. After a bit more awkwardness, one of the guys making the food kinda mumbled that the order was "in process" and they'd call me up when its ready. I sensed a problem but Ok great. So i sit down and wait, more folks come in, and i wait, until everyone who had been in line when i arrived were long gone and folks who came after me were getting their sandwiches. At this point its was clear they missed my online order and were slammed/frazzled/confused. So i wait - impatiently - and finally get the 3 sandwiches and go home to find the order was not filled correctly, wrong toppings on sandwiches, wrong bread, etc. read more

We ordered online, went into the shop - everything looked really clean and nice. They messed up on our order and told us we did not order a third sandwich (when we paid in the amount of 3). That was easily fixed. Then we get home and everything was slopped together and drenched in so much oil, everything was unedible. We literally could not eat it and threw it away. I feel so bad because everyone was so nice but today we wasted $40.00 on something that we could not eat. I wish there was a way to resolve this but unfortunately, we understand how the food business works. You take your chances I guess. read more
