Stopped in for the first time in a long while as I was craving a Jersey Mike's Italian sandwich. I used to stop in 2 to 3 times a week when they had great daily specials, but they no longer offer those. I'll be back sooner next time as my sub was awesome and the folks working there were really nice. Just miss the daily specials a lot.. read more

This place used to be the go to, 5 star example. It has gone down hill in a hurry. Sandwiches now are skimpy, not as good, and served by extremely rude employees. We've stopped going here. The one in Rincon went from being the 2 star to a 5 star, so we just go there. read more

The manager today was incredible worked the room like a pro with a ton of people in line. He was watching everything that was going on, at one point an employee next to him put his hands in his pockets and the manager noticed it and immediately called him out and made him change his gloves and made sure he did not do that again. Walked in and the employee yelled at my wife that their system is not working and for her to "get out". We literally walked in and wanted a sandwich for our kid and the walrus of an employee went off. Guess she was hungry too. As we walked out they put a sign on then door "to order online"... I came here for lunch, i don't visit this store specifically often, but i do eat jersey mikes occasionally as well as previously working at this and the Hilton Head locations. we arrived at a decently busy time and ordered our food. we waiting for 30 minutes before i asked about it, and they "made it a while ago" and i'm assuming someone else got my sandwich. they remade my sandwich and gave us the 17 that had been sitting for 40 minutes at this point. i was pretty disappointed, but after i asked they remade that sandwich too. after 50 minutes we had our order. given this i was planning on a 1 star review. However, they offered us a refund. accidents happen, mistakes happen. Making up for it is what matters. Other than the wait, i had a good experience and good food. We chose to turn down the refund as that would remove the tip we gave, and we got what we ordered. read more

Took three people to NOT make my order- each time asking me what I wanted then doing something else. The manager started this reckless process and dumped me off to the cashier who got distracted by phone orders. All the while two other staff swept and loaded around. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The board of health should come in and take away their ability to serve food especially during a pandemic. They never changed their gloves, the meat and cheese was laying around everywhere and not in a bin. Flies were surrounding the food. I am gluten-free due to having severe allergies. The sign on Jersey Mike's door has Udi's gluten-free bread, so I was excited to be able to get a sub for lunch. Finding restaurants that have GF foods is extremely difficult - either the options are very limited (I get sick of salads with grilled chicken), the management has no clue what GF is so I can't risk it, or they just lie and tell me what's GF and I get sick. I went to order my JM sub, and the worker started cleaning the counters and meat slicer... I asked about the meat being GF (sometimes it's coated in spices that may include flour or something else that isn't GF) and was told that none of their foods are GF... I'm sure it would have been GF, but if the worker doesn't know and can't tell me it is GF then why the hell do they bother to have GF bread for???? Cross-contamination is always a concern... if a restaurant is going to offer GF bread, then they should know whether or not their fillings are GF! I said never mind, I can't risk it, and the worker proceeded to get pissy and tell the rest of the people in line that she just wasted all that time cleaning up and making everybody else in line wait for nothing. I'm very upset and still hungry, but I'm glad I didn't risk eating food that could be cross-contaminated. read more

Ordered 4 sub sandwiches online at 10:40am with an 11am pickup. Arrived at 11:04 They said it would be a few more minutes. 3 people were in the store when I walked in. It's 11:18 and I'm still waiting. No acknowledgment that I'm waiting & there is no customers in the store with me now. Still waiting. 11:20 now. Still here. I sure hope they are making my sandwiches now. Update. 11:24 the people who ordered when I walked in are done eating their sandwiches & im still here waiting. The subs were delicious. Absolutely love Jersey Mikes subs! Best subs in town hands down. This place has become one of my "go to" places The managers are awesome, always welcoming and entertaining, however... I normally go in during lunch time to find a long line and the SAME team members who don't seem to know what they are doing... Either they are new, or more training needs to be done. This makes the wait time longer and can be frustrating. I would love to see the line moving more efficiently for those of us in a rush to get back to work! Overall a great sub place, but if you are in a time crunch, beware. read more

Really not a good sub. The hot chicken parm came out luke warm. The chicken itself wasn't a cutlet, but cut strips - and clearly made up of quite a bit of gristle. The cheese wasn't really melted. The rosemary cheese bread was a little ray of sunshine, but no different really than the similar bread at Subway. The service was good, kind and friendly staff. They just didn't turn out good subs, especially for the price. read more

The #6 Roast beef with provolone was fantastic. The experience was spoiled by the management. I received a prompt to download the Jersey Mike app while scrolling the internet on my phone. I downloaded the app and placed an order. I promptly received a phone call from an employee. The employee stated that they received my order but it would have to be canceled or change to pickup. They were happy to refund my order if I didn't want to pickup. I tipped $3 that the store didn't see so it was confusing and I canceled. I hang up and received an email stating that door dash was at the store to pickup my order. I call back the employee answers and I explained why I called back. I have a 2-3 minute conversation with the employee all the while the manager is mansplaining to the employee why I couldn't have the order. While this rude unprofessional manager was spouting off the door dash delivery person arrived and the employee said she was filling the order. 1st Mr mansplaining manager don't ask your employees to convey a message and then talk over her the entire time. If you know it all you answer the phone or make the call. 2nd learn about your company's app. I'm fairly sure the manager didn't apologize to the employee but I did. I can't imagine making minimum wage & having to deal with a manager who isn't a leader. I will continue to enjoy Jersey Mike's and recognize that the person in charge needs more training. I finally got my wife to join me for lunch today at this Jersey Mike's location and the manager was extremely rude to us, but worse than that l, was rude to her employees in front of us. Rolling her eyes, sighing and speaking down to her staff in front of customers. Makes me angry that the ONE time I get my wife to join me and we experience and witness treatment like that. I had never eaten at a Jersey Mike's before moving to Bluffton, but it is now my go-to sandwich place. (I was a Jimmy John's devotee in college and these subs are similar.) Head and shoulders above Quizno's and Subway. It's a little pricier than either of those - a regular sub with chips & drink runs just shy of $10 - but you get a lot of meat and cheese, which they slice fresh for you. We usually have a good experience but today was terrible. I usually get a grilled/toasted ham and cheese but was told they only have a microwave. My husband's sandwich was made but then the girl actually yelled at the other employee and took meat off the sub as we were watching. Was charged a $2.31 tip on a $11.55 bill. Was not asked, noticed the charge on my bill upon arriving home. Waited in line for 10 minutes to have 3 words said to me while being rushed through the checkout process and was scammed a tip. BEWARE of this. The person making my sandwich was wearing plastic gloves, however he proceeded to touch the garbage can, clean the slicer and then handle the meat and cheese. I Called him out on this and he denied the he touched anything dirty? I did not buy the sandwich ....just left the store. I have eaten there before without incident. Will never eat there again.
