This sonic has the best staff out of any fast food chain. The workers are friendly, fast, and helpful. Not to mention I had the classic sonic experience of receiving my food on rollerblades. The employee was extremely polite, friendly, and enthusiastic, he even gave us free small fries while we waited. The food was all hot and correct, and something about getting it on rollerblades makes it better. Stopped by for a quick bite and this has to have been the worst experience at a fast food restaurant in possibly forever. We ordered a hamburger, a chili cheese coney, medium chili cheese tots, and a small blast. We were charged $5.99 for the burger, to which arrived with cheese and was so messy my daughter could only take a few bites. Wish I'd seen the 2 stars before stopping. Waited extra time to get a burnt double cheeseburger with almost uncooked bacon, two teas with almost no ice, and they forgot all condiments and napkins. And when I went to ask for the napkins and condiments I didn't get a 'how can I help you,' just a stare that seemed to ask 'what do you want?' The outside appearance is equally horrible. this is the worst place to go, I believe, in Bluffton! We ordered two drinks and two corndogs. We drove away and pulled the corn dogs out of the bag! They were chard beyond recognition! I don't even know what that was! We went back to sonic, drove up to the window, and the kids said sorry, do you want us to drop some new ones? We asked why they didn't go ahead and drop new ones when we were there. We asked them how they could possibly serve these to a customer and not feel bad about it. We asked to speak to the manager. Ordered a few drinks in the drive through and one order was incorrect. Tried solving the problem by using the patio kiosk and no one would respond to my call - after 10 minutes of waiting for them to resolve a drink order, we left. Patio was filthy and the windows were completely covered so customers can't see inside. It would be nice for someone to at least acknowledge a customer that's waiting. Took forever to get a small chocolate milkshake and it was $4.50 or so. They must use water rather than milk or ice cream and don't get the "whipped" cream as it was a solid laying on top of the chocolate water mixture. More like a custard than whipped cream. My wife and I were driving t Hilton head Island for a vacation on July 31, 2021 and stopped at this Sonic Drive in to use the Restrooms and perhaps have lunch. The restrooms were tiny and on the outside of the facility. I have traveled the world and have been in some of the poorest countries like Egypt, Nigeria, Lebanon, Algeria and Peru, to name a few. At first I didn't have a good review to post. Girl who answered when I tried to place an order was giggling and cracking up with someone and it took awhile to start the order. Then the order was wrong.. But the wonderful lady on skates (#10) totally understood, recited back to me what I wanted, took my card and handled it. She also let us keep the incorrect food delivered.
