Super rude. The staff was rude to every member of our party. To top it off they wouldn't allow us to use the restroom.

Came in today to buy a giant #7. First of all, I was never asked what kind of bread I wanted and the guy slicing meat took it upon himself to give me white bread. I didn't say anything because he had already cut it and started putting cheese on it. It doesn't seem like a big deal and all but when you come home and find the bread hard as if it was baked last night, hard to chew, then it's upsetting because I just spend $16 on that sub. read more

I came in with a group on Saturday April 17 at 11am and ordered a giant sub. This is my third time stopping here though I'm not from this area. Let's start by saying the customer service had a big attitude to multiple customers which calls for a need for a review. Maybe they are just there to clock in and clock out to run their checks. We said thanks after getting the food but they pretty much rudely ignored. At this point I feel more so bad for the owner who's losing business because of their staff. You might think employees would be nicer to visitors during a pandemic, hyper inflation, all time unemployment and increased minimum wage. Today was my LAST time at the Jersey Mike's in Cabazon. It's close to home so I've gone back way too many times for their rotten operation in general. Everchanging employees is a clue. Here's how they are completely a waste for a $15.00 giant size sandwich. Often, upon entering there is no one up front to help and watch the store. Instead of using a small order pad, they make your sandwich based on what they hear you say, or what you never said. You express very clearly what you want. They repeat it back several times, several versions. I was stupidly counseled how their "shore points" work. Today I ordered a giant size BLT. Nothing else on it. Nothing else. Horrible service. Argued with the lady in front of us because she wanted mayo on only half her sandwich so they charged her extra. So they use half the mayo and half the time but charge customers extra? They informed us that they are a franchise and their general manager decided to put that policy in place. They were training two new employees, but they had 4 other trained employees just watching the two trainees. There were a total of 5 people and 5 sandwiches and it took 30 min to make the sandwiches. By the time we were done there were more people lined up. Someone needs to change the management here. These training procedures and their new policies for their store just don't make sense. Can't say enough great things about this location and their employees! Every time I go in everyone is super friendly and eager to make the experience the best that they can! They opened at 10 and weren't prepared at all, another customer had to remind them to turn on their TVs so he could look at the menu. They somehow got their orders mixed up a guy in line after me somehow got his sandwiches before me. It took a total of 20 minutes to make me a sandwich what a waste of time. If you ever shop in Cabazon, you know it gets Crazy here. Thanksgiving weekend is always a challenge for store managers to coordinate food orders for their teams. Luckily I was blessed enough to have met the store manager Julie who was a great help with the catering order for my team. She was able to coordinate the order, payments and delivery flawlessly. Their assistant manager Valerie made and packed the order and even had it prepared before the scheduled time. Dropped off my wife and infant here to order a hot/grilled sandwich on a cold windy night. Wife puts in the order right after she walks into an empty restaurant. I show up 5 mins later after parking the car. We sit there for 5 additional mins as several cold sandwich customers come in after us and run their course. All the sudden it hits me, I look over at the grille and there's NOTHING on it. I inquire about the sandwich and an employee hiding behind her ridiculous mask (take those damn things off so I can see you already!) tells me that they haven't started the sandwich because "that's not how it works." Really? You don't start a grilled sandwich until after you slice cold cuts for customers that came in AFTER we did? We would have stayed and waited it out if they had admitted that they made a mistake and at least put down the chicken on the grill immediately. I used to love this place and I regularly eat here with my wife after shopping at the outlets or visiting the casino. Here's my experience. Today (1-24-21) me and my wife had a very bad experience. There is an "assistant to the regional manager" girl who I will call Dwight Schrute for the purposes of this review. Since there was two girls there today, I will just say that it was the heavy one that I am referring too (they don't have name tags). Dwight was rude from the begging. I am not a high maintenance person and neither is my wife but when a person is so blatantly rude, I will make the time to write a review. I'm not sure if she was rude because there was a line of customers and she couldn't handle the pressure or if that's just her personality. Dwight was on a high horse expecting us to answer her questions on demand and hurrying us up the line as if we were bothering her. I felt like I was in jail being pushed along the lunch line as fast as possible. I thought to myself, "I'm paying for this treatment?" I'm just trying to grab a bite and now I'm being belittled? Absolutely gross! Very dirty inside with food on floor and trash inside all over floor. Counters were completely filthy with stains. And dried food on them. I waited over 30 minutes of waiting in a line made of 7 people. When I started nearing the front they said their bread was too hot and said 5 minutes, 10 minutes later, they said another 3 minutes.
