I don't know what kind of sandwich black magic they're running in Banning, but Super Subs is the real deal. I got the banh mi-style chicken sub and it was $15.95 but literally the size of my forearm -- like, if I got jumped in the parking lot, this thing could double as a weapon. Bread was perfect: crackly outside, soft inside, zero sog. The pickled carrots, cilantro, cucumber, and seasoned chicken actually tasted fresh, not like someone pulled it from a bucket in the back. It hits that crunchy-herby-savory combo that makes you stop mid-chew and go, "Oh damn... okay." Portions are insane, ingredients are legit, and yeah -- I'd drive back for it. Some reviews say the Banh Mi is not really legit. If this banh mi is "wrong," I don't wanna be right.

Stopped here on our way through. We ordered the Asian sub and a Turkey Pastrami. Both were absolutely AMAZING!!! We loved the way both sandwiches complimented each other in terms of flavor, and crunchiness vs creaminess. Delicious and highly recommended. The owners, Diane and Ben, were so kind! They were only open that day for take out, so we were the only customers in there. We had a lovely conversation with them as they prepped our food. Such a great experience, highly recommended!!

First Time Here Today..... 12" Turkey Club.. 5 of 5.. Great Sandwich! Been seeing this place on various social media sites of people saying how good the sandwiches are.. I have to admit, it was worth the drive across town for.. It's tucked away just off the main street so it totally gives off small town sandwich vibe.. The owners are very friendly and inviting.. What a great couple serving amazing food. It really feels like your aunt and uncle are in the kitchen making something with love, and that's what makes this place special. No surprise they have 5 stars -- the service and the genuinely kind people behind the counter make all the difference. I had the Italian sandwich and it was delicious, loaded with plenty of cold cuts and fresh veggies. Definitely worth stopping by if you're driving along the 10 freeway and want to avoid the outlet traffic but still grab something really good to eat. read more

This small, mom & pop shop looked like it was closed but owner unlocked door when I tried to open. Came here because of Yelp Top 100 Sandwich Shops. No indoor seating so ate in the car. Great turkey sando with crispy bacon and avocado. Note: Yelp lost a little credibility by not including High Street Deli in San Luis Obispo, CA. Definitely the best sandwiches. read more

Inside, the space is small but full of character, photos of the owners' family line the walls, giving it a warm, personal touch. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and felt welcomed. The owners recommended the Asian sandwhich which was a 10/10. Had a nice spicy kick to it and very flavorful. This was the most delicious sandwich in the world. From when we took our order to when we got the food it took 3 minutes. They don't use any special ingredients or anything it was just a genie good sandwich with the perfect amount of every thing. The cook was so kind and thoughtful. When we sat down she asked us if we needed anything else and gave us trays. She had a smile on her face and was super nice. They have a couple seats on the inside and a bathroom. That was more than I expected given it was pretty small. I would definitely recommend trying it. Maybe next time I want something to eat I'll drive the 50 miles to get here. read more

This is why...... 4.It Takes so long!!! plus when being forced to order off trhe app you hve to put a stall number because they dont want you inside. Even the red bell is wired up so no one can reach it to call for service :....( It was such a hard slap in the face!! It's probably even twice as filthy in the back. I literally had to walk into the kitchen and scream at them because they had the rock 'n' roll music blasting way too loud. We're never doing this again. We'll just make our own Sunday at home or go through the drive-through at McDonald's. I'd like to add that there are no workers at the front, you cannot go to the cash register and order. You have to do it through the app or through the drive-through. They do not want to see you!!! That should tell you what this place is really about. There are no refills on a full priced soda!!!! No Napkins! NOTHNG HERE!!! p.s. I ordered double fudge and double toppings that I never got, plus a full meal so its not like I didnt pay to use that restroom. He was only in there 3 seconds. Never Again. Im filing a charge back and I hope they fire those two filthy brats@! Im calling the health department. Maybe then they will learn some gosh dang respect for the customers.

I also ordered a large coffee, which was being made while I waited. My first visit here was a light year improvement over the countless golden arches visits I've made in Banning. I've visited 3 more times during this 3-month period, and I've always been treated with kindness and consideration. The employees make me feel glad that I've stopped in - a wonderful, refreshing interlude in the middle of the long drive. On my last visit I ordered chicken stars and medium fries. My meal was hot, delicious, and satisfying. No microwaves in sight, no smashed buns, no lonely pickle chips - Carl's Jr. food is freshly prepared and tastes good. I think prices are comparable to the golden arches, but the food is far superior and definitely a value for the dollars I spend. Bonus - the coffee is excellent - fresh, and a good strength. The team works quickly, and they pay attention to each other, and to their customers. Someone is aware of every customer who walks through the front door. I've never had to stand there hoping an employee will walk by or glance at the counter to see if any customers are waiting for help. Five Guys, in general, is more costly than other fast food restaurants, but we didn't have much options in the food court. I liked the fries, and we had a good amount each to share.

I was on my way to Phoenix, for a weekend trip and ........Wow. What a hole in wall. When I came up I knew this was gonna be a winner. Two black and whites parked outside. Cops eat out a lot and they get picky. We tried the pastrami, Asian sandwich and a BBQ beef sandwich. They are all my favorites. When we jumped back on the Road, My son told me in that stopping at little places like this is the whole point in traveling. Lmao. He is 13. When we got to Phoenix 5 hours later, he told me we need to stop at super subs on our way home. The owner was so friendly and hospitable. She had me laughing as we chatted. Her husband was fantastic also. Both of them are so kind and generous. I wish they would move closer to me. This place will be a required on every road trip that passes this stretch of road for the rest of my days. read more

This was my first time at Super Subs and it will not be my last, when you first walk in it's very small location but do not let that fool you, the customer service was the best the couple working were so friendly and welcoming to my friend and I and I felt positive energy in the air. Now the food... the food was so amazing it put me in a state of euphoria when i took my first bite. I ordered the cubano and the Asian sub for my friend and I I was excited because he wouldn't stop raving about this place and with reason the food was so good I HAD to go back and order another sub because it was that immaculate. The sandwiches here are the best in town!!! Every time I come in the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They take the time to get to know their customers and create a personal relationship. It's a small little shop, locally owned and operated. I have been coming here for years and tried a few different sandwiches. I absolutely love everything I have tried.
