Came here for dinner on a Friday evening of 4th of July weekend with a friend after we finished our shopping at Desert Hills right next door for the 4th of July sales. I have been to Wahlburgers before in Massachusetts, but this was a few years ago. I was talking about burger spots with my friend and suggested this place, since they're not common in California and they're really good. Ambiance: the Wahlburgers is located in Morongo right next to a stage where there were a bunch of fat old guys singing very annoying and the music was blasting way too loudly for my friend and I to be able to comfortably sit down and hear each other speak. We decided to bring our tray over to the food court where it was at least a little less loud. It was packed though and difficult to find a table and tables were dirty too and I had to clean it myself before we could sit down and eat, when we could finally snag a table. Food: OurBurger, Crispy Fish Sandwich, and Tater Tots were all delicious. Its a little on the pricier side, but note that if you sign up for a Morongo Player Card, you can get a discount (even if you don't gamble). I signed up last time I was here with a friend and got 10% off this meal today. Overall, yea I'd recommend them if you want to try Wahlburgers around SoCal (since this is the only SoCal location to my knowledge). Otherwise the Good Times Cafe in Morongo may also serve burgers and other really good food, but in a much more clean and comfortable setting/with better ambiance. read more

Took my mom to the casino today to have a little fun in for Mother's Day weekend She always loved the show and has been wanting to try WB for a while so we planned to get lunch there Service was good. Condiments given and the counter service was friendly We had the classics with the government cheese It's a good burger Tasty flavor but I found it a bit dry The house sauce was okay. Every time I come through Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, I make sure to stop at Wahlburgers -- and they never disappoint. The customer service here is top-notch. Super friendly staff, always welcoming and on point. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just the food. Today I kept it simple with a couple appetizers -- the French fries were perfectly cooked, crispy and flavorful, and the fried pickles were ... honestly some of the best I've had. Simply skip it. I ordered a Super Melt, Sweet Potato Tots, and a Chocolate shake. Not cheap. I was expecting better quality than what I got. The shake tasted like vanilla with a slight hint of chocolate at the most. The tots were soggy and the bottom of the container was covered in grease. The burger was the worst I've had in a while. I could taste the pickles, bacon, cheese, and sweet caramelized onions. However, I could not taste the meat. The patties were drowned in salt, as if to hide something. Every bite of the melt was pure salt. If this Wahlburgers was not next to a bar playing live music, I would have passed completely. If there are any redeeming factors, the servers were super nice, and working next to extremely loud music daily definitely isn't good for them. I went home with a serious case of indigestion and acid reflux. Next time If I need a burger at Morongo casino, I will go for In and Out outside, or the Fatburger in their main food court. read more

Visiting and stopped by Wahlburgers at Morongo -- decided to put my own spin on The Our Burger by swapping in caramelized onions and adding bacon. Let me tell you... 8/10 combo! The burger was juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. Those onions hit that sweet spot, and the bacon added the perfect crunch. I just wish it had a little more of their special dressing so it was as "saucy" as the photo shows. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's right next to the sports bar -- you order, and they bring it out to you. What's better than a little gambling and some good food on a Sunday afternoon. So happy we stopped by and tried Wahlburgers! The Caesar salad was delicious and the chicken wings were outstanding! Not all hamburgers are created equal--and this one stood out in all the right ways. While my pic doesn't do it justice, the burger was cooked to order with impressive precision. It was juicy, generously sized, and perfectly seasoned with just the right touch of salt and spices. The patty had great flavor and texture, the bun was light but held up well with each bite. The toppings added balance and depth. A thick slice of onion provided a satisfying crunch, but without the overpowering bite some raw onions have. It was mild and fresh, working well with the rich, savory meat. The cheese was the finishing touch--melted just enough to blend in and give each bite that creamy, flavorful "kiss" that brings it all together. I also ordered the onion rings (see my pic), which were thin, crisp, and deliciously crunchy. They had a nice texture and seasoning, though they were a bit oily. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. The ordering line was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't busy slow, part of our order was forgotten. Had lunch here today after checking out of the hotel. I opted for the bbq burger (medium well) and shared an order of fries and fried pickles with my sisters. We have come here several times over the years and absolutely loved it! This visit was a complete shock and will not be returning. The burger was as gamey as you can get. It had clearly been frozen. Their meat quality used to be incredible, this was worse then hospital or cafeteria food. I took one bite and honestly gagged. My Husband tried his as well and immediately threw it away. Not only was the meat completely disgusting the bun was hard with no taste. The sodas were watered down. The only thing that was the standard it was previously were the tater tots. First time at Wahlburgers and I was impressed! The beef was excellent quality -- juicy, flavorful, and clearly fresh. You can really taste the difference in the burgers here compared to a typical chain spot. My food came out hot and cooked perfectly, which makes a big difference. The fries were crisp, the burger was fresh off the grill, and everything hit the table fast. The burgers themselves were absolutely delicious. Burger is nothing special considering the price. Tasted like artificial butter on the bread. In n out tasted better for a fraction of the price. We spent over $60 on two burgers and a milkshake, and asked for an extra empty cup. They said they cannot give us an empty cup, as they count each up. I never heard of that before. read more

If you're ever at Morongo, definitely stop and try this place. I had the bbq cheeseburger. The flavor was on point. For once a bbq burger that wasn't overpowering! My husband had the regular cheeseburger, he asked for medium rare it was rare. But he said it was really good. The Wahlbergs have an IPA 7.2 beer on tap, talk about delicious! If I wasn't driving, I would've had more than just a taste test. We watched Sunday night games enjoyed our burgers and had a great time. A definite must try. read more

I've been to this location twice. Neither time was it my first choice. Other restaurants had long lines and I was hungry. There was no line at Wahlburgers. That should have been a sign. The first time, I ordered the house burger and a side of chili. The burger was ok, but it fell apart immediately. The burger patty was well-seasoned and the veggies were crisp. The bun, though, just seemed to melt and fall apart. I was super hopeful about the chili. I asked for onions and cheese. No flavor at all. I do like the cool green cups for soft drinks. The last burger I ordered was a repeat of the first time. Good flavor on the meat, but I took one bite and everything fell apart in my hands. Last Saturday I went to grab a burger around 430 and when I walked to the counter there was a Mexican lady yelling at another woman from what I can tell the lady was trying to tell her what happened but she would not listen then a boy from the back came up front and she was talking to him but not yelling like she was at the female worker then the boy and Mexican lady walked away with out even acknowledging me and another lady came and took my order that's definitely not what u want to support when thinking about buying food from someware sad hopefully all the employees don't have to go threw this. read more
