On my most recent visit, I was picking up an online order. All details were listed for my two sandwiches. Sandwich number one had oil and vinegar, I asked for none of that. I asked for Mayo and honey mustard on both sides. The second sandwich I asked for an extra side of oil and vinegar, the sandwich was dry and there was no side of anything in the bag. I took the sandwiches back and had them re-made. The first sandwich was dry, no Mayo and no mustard as requested. They also did not put any tomatoes on the sandwich. The second sandwich had all of my Mayo and my mustard ( which is gross on and Italian sub). They also did not put the side of oil and vinegar a second time.

Don't expect to get your food on time when using the order ahead app. Happened to me 3 times now including yesterday. Placed order 1.5 hours in advanced, sandwiches were not ready. Had to wait another 20 min then when I got home they gave me the wrong sandwich. Ordered a veggie and got a cheese steak. Not great for a vegetarian. So over this place won't go back. Need a better sandwich shop east side Cam.

Where's the meat?? I absolutely hate spending $20 on a sandwich to hardly have any meat on it. This location is so inconsistent which is unfortunate as it's down the street from us. I will no longer come to this location for mikes way on a roll.

A sandwich walk up to a bar and sits down. The bartender says, "We don't serve food here." Yep I went full nerd and told a sandwich joke! This Jersey Mikes is in such a pretty area. Big pine trees all around, just a great - peaceful vibe with a nice eating area outside. Staff were very friendly and great at small talk and greeting each customer and engaging in conversation while they wait for their sandwich being made. I got a #13 Mikes Way. Very tasty. Great thing about Jersey Mikes is they freshly cut the meat right there. Subway or Jimmy Johns is on a completely different level..... A much, much lower standards one. Jersey Mikes is at the top of that list. Fresh ingredients, higher quality makes for the best sandwich you can get. Money doesn't grow on trees or rain down from the sky... Why waste it on bottom feeders like Subway(?) Gross.

    I saved the napkin's from Dylan's sandwich

Popped in for a quick bite, then a treat at Mr. Softee, just down the street before hitting the outlets. I knew Hubs would be keen on just a plain hot dog, which he ordered and enjoyed, but said the bread - THE FRESH BAKED BREAD! - is what really elevated it. He wants to return and get a sandwich on THAT BREAD! lol I hadn't seen any photos of salads on Yelp, but let me clarify they are fresh, delicious, yummy, HUUUUGe and fairly priced! Service does, indeed, seem to be handled by a Mama and a Nona. Be patient, speak clearly. I think I talk really fast when I order, so I got a side of oil & a side of vinegar when I had requested ranch dressing. No biggie, just took it back in and they got me the ranch. Inside has A table and 2 chairs, but was a bit warm, so we took advantage of the patio seating with lots of shade, plenty of room and a fresh sea breeze. Perfect for people watching as well! We grabbed a punch card cuz we could easily see ourselves stopping by again to get road trip sammies. I also have an eye on that homemade pistachio baklava.... Cheers! "CC"

My family came down from Tahoe to visit me in Thousand Oaks and I decided to take them to old New York deli and bakery. We spent a few hundred bucks buying different items and having lunch. I was very impressed with what we ordered. I went back four days later and ordered about another $150 worth of food and took it over to some friends in Ventura for bagels and eggs. It was very good. I went today for lunch and ordered some of the bakery stuff and decided to order a hot pastrami sandwich for lunch. when I got home to eat my sandwich I took the first bite, and it was all gristle and fat the worst pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten. I usually go to Brent deli in Thousand Oaks and order the same thing for lunch at least once a month and I've never had this type of problem. My recommendation is to just order cream cheese and bagels and the bakery and you will be safe. The pastrami was horrible and I'll never order it again and possibly never go back to that deli. I don't like writing bad reviews about businesses, but that was ridiculous. Good luck whoever orders that hot pastrami sandwich.

From borscht soup and varenyky to stuffed cabbage rolls (and yes, I've tried nearly everything on her menu), every dish is fresh, flavorful, and made with so much love. My personal favorites and recommendations so far would be the Borscht soup, chicken kyiv, potato/fried onion varenyky, and for dessert, I'm simply addicted to their little honey candies. If you've been missing the flavors of home or simply want to explore something new and delicious, I can't recommend Ukrainian Flavors enough. I shared this delight with my husband and we both enjoyed it. We tried a couple of the giant pastries that were on trays in a baking rack. Though I have to say these were huge and we brought them home to eat them over a couple of days The fiilings are not overly sweet and have unique tastes like mango or pineapple. The crust is not flaky like a croissant nor is it dense like a cake but something in between with the creamy filling. I had the best conversation with the man inside at the deli who took my order yesterday. The cashier was very dry and bland when I tried to be friendly and chipper when I walked in and while checking out but he didn't seem to care. I ordered an Italian Sub with some minor adjustments. I removed the Mortadella, provolone, and red wine dressing, I added genoa salami and garlic aioli instead with the ciabatta bread. I am still in awe of the taste and flavor and freshness. I finished half before work and the other half after because the sandwich was HUGE. It was worth every penny and it was a lot more affordable that I expected. The deli was in a grocery story type location so I was able to walk around and look at snacks and find something to drink as well. The ambiance was quiet, it was during work hours I stopped by so pretty much the entire plaza/Village was a bit empty. I will most definitely be coming by every-time I'm in the area. I loved this place so much. Thank you to the man behind the deli, your sandwich was a work of art!
