i give up on this location. the two random times ive placed an online order & they still make it incorrect. this was a recent event but the first time it happened, it was pretty much the same thing. my order was pretty simple, rosemary bread & the mikes way on a #8. This is my usual order at the Cerritos location. I redeemed a giant sub from points on the mobile app. they DID NOT inform me at least the change of my bread. I got white bread instead. i also did not get the Mike's Way like i stated on my order. what baffles me is the order is on text via app. so you couldnt get that wrong. but if there was not the product available, why wasnt I informed but they made the decision to what kind of bread i should have lol Mikes way is the way to go when you get a sub, so this was suuuper disappointing :( oh well. i didnt even want to make the hassle to go back to get it fixed, im just very over this location messing up my orders p.s. i urge everyone to go to the cerritos, theyre always on point with customer service & quality of care to their subs read more

I immediately called and the crew immediately apologized. I picked the order and tried to show my receipt. All three crew members were very courteous and respectful. The employees, two, were polite and listened to what I wanted. They were patient in telling me what my sandwich came with, and what I could ADD for FREE, which is always nice. Ordered 4 sandwiches on the phone and requested gluten free on one of the sandwiches. They didn't check to see if they had gluten free before finishing my order on the phone and didn't make the other sandwiches in the meantime when I went to pick them up (they left the gluten free bread in the freezer and never dethawed for the day). I go to pick up the sandwiches and they're not ready and they end up giving me 2 wrong sandwiches for my order. Ordered ahead for pickup an was given a pick up time. The order was 30 minutes later then the time quoted on the site and would have been later if I wouldn't have just canceled the third sandwich. HORRIBLE experience!!! I had two issues, I ordered online and I made the mistake of ordering one of the sandwiches a regular #8 instead of a giant #8. Caught MY mistake when i went to pick up the order. Asked Isabel and the guy if they could just make me another regular, (which combined with the other regular would make a giant) and take off the regular one but instead charge me for a Giant #8. They said they would just charge me for another regular because it's the same size. I told them I would have to pay more that way. I know it's only $3 difference but why should i have to pay more if it's something already on the menu and you can just take off one of them? They wouldn't take it off and I had to pay more. Second issue, after I got home and we unwrapped the sandwiches, the ones I ordered online were all the wrong types of bread. They were all white instead of wheat. So I went into my car and drove back to get the bread switched. They told me they ran out of wheat but they didn't ask me what other bread I wanted instead nor did they tell me when I picked it up. Third time the location had zero mayonnaise and they gave me packets to put it on my self. Walked to the door at 8:55pm. Doors were locked despite the posted sign saying closed at 9pm. 5 employees looking at me but made no effort to correct. . Had to go to the "burrito place"next door. Wasn't happy but fifteen minutes later FOUR Jersey Mike's employees walk in to get food. 2 looked at me and sheepishly smile. I get it, I'm a GM of a restaurant and realize the frustration of that last minute guest but I have NEVER closed early. Shame. Don't get me wrong, the food and preparation is good here. What's wrong is the customer service. The associates are very unprofessional here. They aren't friendly, have attitude, and clearly want to get you out as soon as you walk in. For example, yesterday.. a male worker was ranting about his personal life (a girl and an iPhone) while his coworker ignored him and continued working. He even answered his phone and yelled at someone in the other room. The name on the receipt for the cashier who checked me out was Tye, but I'm not sure it was him (unless Tye wears earrings). Another example, a few days ago, a female worker was in a hurry to go on her break while she was taking my order, so she got it wrong and someone else had to correct it for her. Went here with some friends to pick up sandwiches before a hollywood bowl show. Im pregnant so I specifically asked for no mayo... plus I don't like mayo. Usually I get the number 13 but cold cuts are not recommended while pregnant either so I got a hot chicken sandwich and I asked for no mayo. Although slow(which is understandable since they just opened)they were friendly and we even made small talk about my friends kid. When the sandwich finally came out I asked AGAIN.. no mayo, right ?? Being that store locations hours have changed due to the virus. We arrived 15 mins prior to closing and the staff seemed very bothered by it. We ordered a cheese steak sandwich which bothered them even more because they had to cook it in the stove. The girl stepped away from the stove longer then usual and we thought she burned the meat. She went along to place the meat in the bread and closed it up and brought it to the register, she didn't even ask if we wanted anything else in the sandwich. We asked for her to open it up and add mustard. And she seemed bothered by it. We then asked for her to cut it in half and that bothered her even more. Came here at 12:40 on a Monday, and it was chaotic. So many online orders were coming in, people standing around, and them moving sandwiches out of and into bags because they had made a mistake. I walked in and ordered what I always get. I always order using the number. Even though I heard them relay the number for the chipotle CHICKEN, we got a chipotle cheese steak, which is a completely different number. This is a problem as my boyfriend cannot eat red meat. We came on lunch break and sadly could not go back, so he had nothing to eat for lunch. Lettuce and toppings were all over the tray/prep area and nothing was being cleaned off in between sandwiches. Additionally, a man was there waiting at 12:47 for an order which was suppose to be done at 12:27 and they were opening up the sandwiches in the bags to try to find this guys sandwich. Literally just went here and had the worst service ever. I've never posted a negative experience on yelp before, but I guess this will be my first. My server was Anthony. He didn't greet or welcome me. I'm guessing since it was about 20 mins before closing and someone came he was mad....I get that but at least give me what I payed for. Anthony did not want to be there and you could tell in his face and tone of voice he was already clocked out. I ordered 2 sandwiches, a 16 (philly cheese steak)and 56 (big kahuna)and he couldn't get my order right. First he made a 6 instead of 56. And then threw a little attitude because he misheard the order. Another couple came in and he continued to mess up on their order. When it was time for me to pay I had only one sandwich made when I asked about the second one he kinda threw a fit again and asked "what did you order again?" I said a number 16. The other guy came from the back and took a sandwich out of a plastic black box and wrapped it up. I asked if this was a beef philly steak and they assured me it was and rushed me out.. I got home and the philly steak turned out to be a chicken big kahuna. To top it off their bread had that old moldy bread smell. These 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks weren't worth 32.26. To the General/District/Regional manager: Solid employees that always make great sandwiches, who do their best, and cheerful every time I walk in there. I could go in with 5 minutes left on my break, order a hot sub, and walk out with 4 minutes left. Great lot. All of these other reviews..........mostly mistakes made by the customer who believe "the customer is always right" even though they are probably always wrong, are what lead to any review less than four stars. Don't like the sandwiches? Understandable. Move on. A mistake was made? Cool deal. They're just sandwiches/food. Make another one and speak up. However all of these passive aggressive fools have a superiority complex and need to feel better than a minimum wage worker to get some sleep at night. No reason any conversation should last more than 5 minutes unless it's friendly one. Accidentally got charged a little extra?.....woah omg they'll automatically help you out...probably give you a coupon to redeem. Ignorant people typically don't understand much. Anyway....he made the manager brief him on the job training and a bunch of other extra stuff. For what? Was he planning to get a job there to show everyone how to make a mean sandwich or run a business. Anyway he told the managers and workers he was going to bother them/call them/ harass them everyday until they displayed prices for "extra" and "double" meat.... as he asked for Corporate's email and phone. Remember he hadn't even paid yet, which meant the problem could have been resolved in two minutes. However, this guy complained, moaned, whined, and did everything in his insignificant power to bring everyone in the room down. Even after the manager politely helped *attempted* to help him out. He made the workers uncomfortable and the workplace hostile. All of this for a sandwich with. Keep up the good work guys. Don't let anyone like this bring you down! The female that was about to start making my sandwich dropped the entire block of cheese, picked it up and rinsed it in the sink, then brought it back and placed it on the slicer to start slicing.
