Walking in i took note that the temperature inside was very warm. A solo employee working there was quick to greet me and ask how they could help me. I ordered the regular club sub to go and I have no complaints regarding the service. The sandwich though...it was a let down. It was very clear that the bread I got was old as it was on the tougher side which means its going stale. The meats were on the warmer side as well. Overall it was a not the usual experience that I have at Jersey Mike's. In the future, I'd certainly give this location a pass. read more

These subs are wonderful! I wasn't a fan of Jersey Mike's until today!! I ordered the California Club sandwich with Turkey, avocado and bacon on Rosemary Parmesan bread it was so delicious!! It's nice that they hand carve their meats as you order. The bread is baked at business location which is a plus for me. Poor service/ Great food Visit 10/5/25 @ 7pm Poor service: They got the BOGO right now. Although that makes me happy, the staff seemed stressed out and overwhelmed. The crew was not polite. One team member was prepping to close and sweeping dust everywhere while there was customers in the lobby. I asked for some chili sauce and they forgot it, so I waited patiently in line and asked for it again. The team member who helped me rudely set it on the counter, far from where I was. Normal order sandwich here on a regular basis. So sad their bread is now the same as subway. It got thinner, and thick on top, it's no giant anymore. Never have an issue with this franchise and I love how each and every one of their sandwiches have a unique flavor. At this location it is near my house and easy to find. It's located near the Otay Ranch Mall and is directly in the corner where it is easy to find. Parking is easy since it shares its parking with the mall. Once walking in you are quickly greeted and get the smell of fresh bread. I usually order The Sub Club with has ham, turkey and bacon and I always recommend getting it Mikes Way (oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, oregano, mayo, and bacon)! Absolutely delicious packed with so much flavor when it's Mikes Way! When arriving be sure to check in and receive a free chips and drink with your yelp. Subway what? Jared who? Ha NEVER! I'll never go to Subway again now that I know the world of Jersey Mike's. One of my fav spots for cold sandwiches. The meats here are sliced here not pre packaged like subway, portions are bigger & the bread here is very fresh & good. Make sure to order it "Mike's Way" & then add mayo & pickles to it if you like that like me. It can be a bit pricy but well worth it, their sandwiches are delicious & mouth watering, true story. I especially love this location because the customer service here is always friendly & fast. And they got a few tables outside that belong to the mall & you can eat out there if you want. Just came in to order 3 regular Philly Cheesesteaks and ended up waiting an hour for my order while several groups behind me got their orders without issue. Didn't get the cashier's name who helped me out, who was actually pretty apologetic, but I'm assuming there was some major miscommunication and lack of initiative with the other staff. It turns out my order had been ready for who knows how long hidden in a corner, and my name had never once been called out. The friendly cashier acknowledged this as well and thankfully was really helpful. However, none of the other staff ever bothered to check on me despite knowing I had been waiting for a really long time. I tend not to be confrontational and could've confronted the staff sooner about my order, but for some of the workers to see me waiting for so long and say nothing is kind of a joke. Does it look like I want to hang out in a Jersey Mike's for fun? At the end of all that waiting and frustration, all they could offer me was just a free drink - frankly I would've hoped to see some sort of refund or coupon since I'm not at all interested in a soda or water. So I have been ordering here for the past few years and haven't had any issues til today where I experienced bad customer service. I first ordered through the Jersey Mike's app for a pick up. It messaged me it was ready, when I got to the store they were still finishing up so I waited. While waiting I saw there was a promotion buy 2 giant subs get 1 free Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. I asked the cashier about it and said my order was 3 giant subs and if they can honor the promotion. She said no and that there wasn't a way to give me the promotion. I asked to talk to a manager she said they don't have one, I asked to talk to a lead and I was told there was none. A guy then asked what was wrong I told him, he said that it is for in store orders only. I let him know that the flyer did not say that. I said that they should change their ads, I then asked for their names because no one had name tags on, I said it was to call in and give feedback to their online customer service. They said they did not give out names. The interaction could have gone better if they knew to handle customer service. The absolute worst, I can understand getting one item wrong but the entire order with a missing sandwich. Unacceptable; ordered 3 sandwiches, two of which were Giant subs. I paid a delivery fee and still ended up driving to this establishment to gather my correct order. How does this happen!? Worst jersey mikes I've ever been to! Had an online order that I waited for almost 45 mins to receive and while I was waiting, they had a doordasher come into to pick up an order that wasn't even ready. I did see another couple that came in and received their order before the doordasher which prompted them to leave. All I'm saying is do better. Nobody was in there as far as customers go so it makes me wonder if management even knows about them not getting orders out on time. First time ever to a jersey mikes. This one was very well kept. On a weekend afternoon there were only 2 workers which was surprising but there also weren't many customers so I guess it worked out. I get overwhelmed ordering at sandwich places especially. I literally picked the best sounding hot sandwiches to go with. Pastrami and chicken parm. The hot sandwich section also didn't have too man options so that was a shame. The food was ready in about a 5 minutes and even though their bread selection was far less than expected, they had one with cheese that was awesome. After seeing this area of the mall go through many tenants within a few years, I'm glad Otay was smart enough to add Jersey Mike's to the mix of dining spots to actually help out their reputation. Since its presence is fairly new to the mall, lines are pretty long but the service remains friendly and efficient. I love the fact that they slice everything in front of you and all their food is made fresh for you to see. I give them major credit for being able to keep their cool by doing that and keeping our orders organized. First off, if they're known for their Philly Cheesesteaks, you should GO FOR IT, especially if this is your first time trying the place out (like it was for me and my man). He was smart and got the Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak which had all the fixings of their original Philly (steak, provolone, onions, peppers) plus chipotle sauce. It was hot, delicious, and finger licking good. My stubborn self got the buffalo chicken wrap which wasn't entirely too bad. The sliced grilled chicken had a good amount of buffalo sauce. It also came with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing. If you took out the lettuce, tomato, and tortilla I'd swear it tasted like boneless chicken wings without the breading. Flavor-wise it was okay but I should have stuck to their subs. I'll do that next time for sure. This definitely was one of the best decisions the Otay Ranch Town Center made in quite some time. Then two other employees snapped back and told me, "You can't talk to him like that." I didn't know the word "relax" was offensive. I said it, to calm him down. It's just this location failed as compared to the one in Ranch Bernardo that we frequently ate at when we lived up north. 1. The one in RB packs the sandwiches. It's loaded with meat. Here, they skimp out on the meat and even the sauerkraut. 2. I asked for wheat bread on both sandwiches. We ended up getting white bread for both 3. We were surprised they didn't ask if we wanted any additional toppings as the one in RB does. The sandwich was still good and i would consider coming back as it's close to home, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed on my 1st visit. Never had Jersey Mike's until last year but I've gone every month ever since. (It helps that it's right across the street and we get coupons in the mail.) Our faves are the chipotle cheese steak, chicken chipotle cheese steak, chicken bacon ranch, or the club sub if we want a cold sandwhich. They sometimes go crazy with the red and green bell peppers in the cheesesteaks so a lot of times I ask for half the amount. I'm not really a sandwhich person but it beats Subway. Pricier, but you get what you pay for. Good reheated too. You order at the meat counter and they'll give you a written ticket to take to the cashier. If it's a hot sub it'll be ready at the cashier. For cold subs, they'll arrange it in front of you where you can choose your toppings. The staff are always friendly and the place is always clean. read more
