They have hot sandwiches so that gives you a choice over just cold. Now... having to tell 4 people individually what you ordered and what you want on it is not my idea of an assembly line. I can just imagine how messed up your order would be if you didn't guide them. You order a roast beef and somehow it becomes a tuna? They put way too much vinegar and oil on everything, so watch that person specifically. Prices are high for a chain. Only Firehouse Subs is more expensive. Still, you might get lucky and get a decent sub if you're attentive. I've also noticed they have not expanded much in the local area so judge that as you may? I do like them better than Jimmy John's. 2.5 stars is accurate. I definitely recommend not going there when they are busy.  Unless you enjoy watching complete strangers practically scream at the employees after their 3rd mistake on the same sandwich. It's hard to stand out as a sandwich place, but this place must be doing something right if I'm still thinking about the sandwich I ate 24 hours ago. Seriously the best sandwich of my life. I used to be a Jimmy John's regular (and I've long since moved away from Subway), but Jersey Mike's is the bomb. On my last visit to the Clackamas/Sunnyside location I was told that they only had enough sub rolls to make sandwiches for ON LINE customers only. This was at 7 pm on a week night. First off, the fact that a sub shop runs out of bread is just ridiculous. But what really sucks, was the smug look on the employees faces - like they were relieved that they - god forbid - had an excuse to not serve a walk in customer. I have only eaten here a couple of times but I wanted to say, this is the best sub chain option in the area. Everything is fresh; I actually got tomatoes on my sandwich which I never do because of how bad they look at other places such as Subway. Soft bread and the mini size is perfect for me for lunch. Definitely prefer this place over subway any day. The giant sub is only 12 dollars or so and it is enough for two people. They have many different types of cold or hot sub combinations and everyone i have had have all been tasty. I prefer the cheese steak which is amazing. They also have a loyalty program as well. I have been a fan of Jersey MIke's for many, many years. It is my Favorite franchise sandwich shop. This region needed someone to come in and introduce The Pacific Northwest how to make proper East Coast sub. They are absolutely Delicious. This is one of the few places I dont have to ask for extra meat on my Italian Subs (the #13). I still ask for extra meat on the Cheesesteak (the #17) but thats for personal reasons. It's one of my favorite franchise Cheesesteaks!! A Solid Meatball Sub (The #15), ask for extra sauce!! The Club (The #8) Is Excellent. This location has a amazing crew, friendly service. There is finally a decent place to get a sub in the Clackamas Town center area. And it's the closest location to my house. read more

I wrote a complete review of Jersey Mike's on the Cascade Station site. I will reiterate that I am a huge fan! I have had several subs in the garden state including The White House in Atlantic City, and sub shops in Leonardo, Red Bank, Haslett, and Seaside Beach. Here you will get an exact authentic east coast Italian sub if you are looking for one. I favor the original Italian #13 with ham, prosciuttni, cappacuolo, provolone, Salami, and pepperoni, Mikes way which includes lettuce tomato, onion, oil & vinegar and oregano. I add mayo for an incredible yes, but healthy no taste of heaven. Always friendly staff, exact same consistency. I have eaten at Tualatin, Beaverton, Cascade Station and finally now the Sunnyside store, (I work in the area and have driven by several times in anticipation waiting for them to open). The sandwiches are exactly the same, always delicious. Again, I would like to see potato and macaroni salad offered instead of just chips for a side, but I will sacrifice these for such an outstanding sub. Subway and Jimmy Johns... Lock your doors and hang your head in shame. A real authentic sub shop has upped the game in Portland! . read more

They close at 9, I walk in before 8:30 and the guy who was sweeping gave me attitude when I asked if they were still open. He kept sweeping so I had to wait a couple of minutes for my sandwich. I thought customer service was their priority? He didn't wash his hands after he swept so I asked why and he just started making my sandwich. If I were you I would personally go somewhere else. I highly recommend this place. It was my first time ordering catering for a large group of people for a business. . The staff was very patient with me and our order came out 100%. Brandon, the general manager, went above and beyond. We had lost the receipt and he looked it up for me several days after the fact, emailing it to me immediately. We order through Uber eats with Covid. The last 3 orders out of 5 in 3 weeks have been wrong. I just want to start by saying that I love the sandwiches at Jersey Mikes. I usually go to the location in Jantzen Beach since I work nearby and everyone working there is happy even when it is busy. I stopped into the Clackamas location since I live nearby and witnessed who I presume to be the manager (Matt) yelling at one of his employees (a blond girl) in front of a full line of customers. He was accusing her of making a sandwich incorrectly when he wrote the ticket and gave it to her. It was actually pretty funny since she called him out on it after he was throwing his weight around and ordering her to remake the sandwich. Very unprofessional of Matt to act this way in front of customers. I really hope he is not in a position of power. I ordered a sandwich online and checked to make sure it is that they accept American Express. I drove all the way to this location and was told that my order was unpaid. I attempted to run my card, after noting on the door that they accept American Express, only to be told that they do not in fact except Amex as a form of payment. Took my kids there this week - they are crazy about subs and when we asked if we could add avo, the guy proceeded to give me a long lecture about how expensive avos are and that they don't last and it cost them $4 each and it's such a waste. Sorry, but aren't I the customer and what sub shop doesn't have avocado? I've been to other JM's and they always have avo. Had to say "thank you" twice to even get a cursory respone of "no problem". Great quality! I would rather pay a couple bucks more and have good quality meat over other sandwich shops. The Philly steaks, pastrami, and number 13 "Mikes Way," are excellent! I fell in love with this place the first time I tried it. Awesome friendly staff, we even had a sandwich we ordered to go that had peppers on it we ordered without and they gave us another one free when we mentioned it and this was on our next visit almost two weeks later! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Philly Cheesesteaks and have had them from countless restaurants and these ones are some of the best, all the ingredients are as fresh as fresh can get and the meat is sliced right in front of you, and the bread is fresh and able to withstand the weight and juices. I haven't tried the other sandwiches because I'm stuck on the Philly's but they all look awesome. Always clean and even with a line they get you in and out quick. Prices are up there but we'll worth it. read more
