I ate here a few days ago. I ordered an Italian sub. So... when eating here make sure to say exactly what size you want! Where most restaurants will default to the regular size, or atleast ask what size... these jokers made me The Giant size, Yes its two full subs, almost twice the price. I was so shocked when the guy said the price, and so caught off guard, that I just bought it. It was too way much. And I felt like I was scammed into purchasing something I didn't want. OK! I gave them 3 stars five years ago and last night they earned FIVE STARS. The crew at Jersey Mike's in Clintonville lacked motivation but "they did their thing!" They made a chicken cheesesteak so good I thought I was back home in Philly. I will NOT be waiting as long as I had to go back. Jersey Mike's has clearly been focused on continuous improvements. It is my first time going to Jersey Mike's Clintonville since the Pandemic. Never disappoints because of the food and service. I always get the regular Original Italian, kettle cooked BBQ potato chips, and Diet Pepsi every time I go to any Jersey Mike's. The different franchisees pick a non-profit to partner with the annual day of giving on the last Wednesday in March. For a while, they were only doing pickup online orders due to the pandemic. I am happy that Jersey Mike's Clintonville lets customers eat in the restaurant. It the about the same ambiance as other Jersey Mike's stores. read more

Store clean, and staff friendly. Atmosphere inside was overall nice. I had to park behind the building and walk to Jersey Mikes. Didn't care for that too much, but it is what it is. I ordered steak portobello sub, and turkey sub-Mike's way. The employee with medium length locs made the sandwiches with great care! He wasn't rushing and handing out sloppy sandwiches like a lot of places do. Both were great and I'll stop by again. I guess I lucked out and came in when the good employees were there. read more

Can't really rate this place since I didn't get any food. My first time at a Jersey Mikes, .... walked in at 3 PM and no one greeted me, then stood at the register while the 3 employees ignored me. Finally asked where I place my order and motioned at some refrigerator case. At that point it seemed like the exit door was a better choice. A waste of my 30 minute lunch time, so I guess I will just eat once I get off work at 7 PM. Just tried eating at Jersey Mike's again today, thus time they are out of bread. This is my second Jersey Mike's experience. I have decided that I definitely do not like the food. I had the turkey at a different located and thought it wasn't worth the money - very blah. It's a cold option, which also is a bummer. This time I decided to try the Chicken Parmesan sub. It was really not great. It's $6ish dollars and two strips of chicken that don't even fully cover the inside of the bread. It felt like I was cheated. There was a lot of cheese, so that's good. The sauce was ok. Customer service is ok. Probably didn't help visiting on a holiday when people probably didn't want to be at work and it's slow. Overall, is you like JM you probably like this place. But if you don't, never come. There are FAR better corporate sandwich places. read more

1st and foremost, how long is cooked bacon supposed to be left out on a counter? 2 pretty large containers of cooked bacon was just sitting out on a countertop. -No refrigerator and -no plastic wrap or lid. 2nd and not as critical can the guy with longer wild hair wear a hair net. His visor doesn't really control his wild unkempt hair. Meh, not the best location. It's your typical Jersey Mike's, but the day I was here the meat was sliced so thick - it was kinda weird. I am used to the meat on my Jersey Mike's subs being so thin it's almost see-through, which I love once it's all piled up. This location must have had their slicer set on the wrong setting. I ended up picking off most of the meat because there was just SO much (I realize this may be a bonus to some). They also got one topping incorrect on my sub and completely forgot another ingredient. So it's like... eh, what can I expect really, it's Jersey Mike's not Jeff Ruby's. But, I don't know... if I'm standing there telling you what I want I guess I expect to get that? Experience 1: Food quality is good. But wait was terrible. Reasonable number of people in line. Not slammed or anything. One sub off the grill every 5 minutes. Waited fifteen minutes before asking how much longer. Turns out they had given my sandwich to someone else. They were apologetic but the speed needs to be faster and attention to detail needs to be way higher. Experience 2: Came about 20 minutes before closing. Didn't realize till I was en route that it was almost closing time. I'll admit I should have checked. When I got there, the grill was off. The employee said they turn it off 15 minutes before close to speed up the closing process. I know it's almost closing time, but if your business sells hot subs, they should sell them till they close. It made me feel like getting out of work as early as possible is more important than customer service and quality of product. Summary: I know it's a chain sub place and nothing fancy, but I'm spending my money to purchase what I think of as a known product and service. Just not a quality location. My Italian sub was totally mediocre. What does Jersey Mike's do that well? Total meh and it wasn't that affordable.

I just can't understand, why you can never get any lettuce on a Mike's way cold sub in Pataskala, OH!!!!

Price is high, but the sub is huge (enough food for about a day and half, seriously). I wouldn't say it's a good value, since it's literally $14.50 for a giant sub, but the sub is definitely huge, so there's that. It's a greasy, fatty sub with tons of meat and tons of cheese. Thick slices of bread. Cheesesteaks. If that's what you're looking for, then that can be a good thing. Just know that's what the style of sub is in advance. I like that type of food, but this was almost too much for even me. There are some great options for subs in the area, hence why I have to be tough and give it only 3 stars. #1 is DiBella's, #2 is Jimmy John's (must be Clintonville location), and tied for #3 is Jersey Mike's/Potbelly. They are all worth trying. I like Jimmy John's clintonville, consistently very decent sub for the price at this location. They use plenty of meat, vegetables are always fresh, and freshly made peppers and mustard relish. Their bread is also a bit more proteinous and fresh/chewy than Mike's. And the sandwich doesn't feel as loaded down with grease. Reasonable price for what you get, plus their app has good coupons and rewards. Just my thoughts. If you just want something hearty with a ton of hot meat and cheese, try the Aztec Burrito at Los Guachos. I'd get that any day over Jersey Mike's, again especially when taking into consideration price. read more

The first time we tried Jersey Mike's they were delicious. So we ordered them again on door dash. Got two meatball subs and when they arrived there was so much sauce on the subs the wrappers were a mess. The extreme amount of sauce ruined the subs. Ok, so maybe that was an off experience so a week later we order again. I decided to give the Ruben a try. O.M.G. IT WAS HORRIBLE. It was completely wet. The bread was completely soggy. It was a hot mess. The bread wasn't even the only problem. The Sourkruat was brown and the entire sandwich was just a soggy disgusting mess of nasty. I threw it in the trash because the first bite literally gagged me. It's official, we are all the done with Jersey Mike's which is sad because it started out really good, but it was a one hit wonder. There are so many great sub shops in town, I can't really say this is the best. However, I always enjoy my food and the service is usually quite speedy. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch cheesesteak sub on wheat bread. This one doesn't really come with customization options that I can tell, unless you want to leave something off. The flavor combination is one that I really like, and I don't think I've ever ordered anything else. I was here around 6 pm on a Wednesday night and they had very little business. There was a slow trickle of people coming in at a time I would have expected to be dinner rush. I guess that's good for quick service. read more

Average food, average service, average value. I have been to gas stations that have better tasting subs and service than Jersey Mike's. As far as the food goes it is nothing to write home about. Their calling card is slicing to order your meats and cheeses. Too bad for the consumers they slice thin to make it seem like you are getting more when you are actually are getting less than you should. Very disappointed in the service both times I have been here. There is no sense of urgency which leads to longer wait time then needed. Five people ahead of you should not mean a twenty minute wait to place an order. While hiring young people is part of the industry, management needs to make sure they are trained in sandwich construction and customer service. Being greeted and thanked is industry standard, except here. When it comes to personality and communication, they talk more and nicer to their coworkers than they do their customers. I honestly dont blame the kids, I blame management for not training them right or enforcing standards. Store was clean each time. Parking in their shared parking lot is easy as long as the other tennants aren't busy because you might be on the street and walking a couple of blocks. read more

Once you've had a Jersey Mike's Sub, all other subs will pale in comparison. These subs are perfect for those lazy sundays of football watching. Get a regular if you can handle a Subway footlong. Get a giant if you plan on watching football all day from the 1 o'clock game to the late night NBC game. The subs are stacked with meat and veggies and it will likely last you all day. Because Jersey Mike's makes a steak and cheese sub that I go back for- often on a weekly basis for stretches of time. What is it I love so much about this tiny chain? The chipotle cheese steak. It's like a regular cheese steak with, yeah, you guessed it, chipotle mayo. Why is this so good? I have no idea. I'm also a big fan of Miss Vickie's chips, especially the salt and vinegar variety, but it's rare that many places have them to offer with a meal. Jersey Mike's is fast becoming a Sunday afternoon tradition after waking up late from a Saturday night of mind altering activity. Around 2:00pm we all pile into my car, make the drive from campus through the gray and decaying storefronts of Clintonville that seem even sadder during the winter months, and park our seats inside Jersey Mike's. To be honest, I've never had anything other than their Philly Cheesesteak Sub. And neither has anyone else that I travel with. It's not that this is the best Cheesesteak I've ever had, in fact it is far from perfect. But the warm and gooey provolone cheese mixed in with the onions and peppers on a warm wheat bun brings a little delight into my otherwise dull Sundays. The student discount doesn't hurt either. Only $6 for a sub, chips, and a drink. We grab our own copies of Alive! and The Other Paper and eat in silence with the occasional quip about something interesting that we are reading. We always leave full and a little more prepared to finish whatever homework we neglected over the weekend. read more

I love going to Jersey Mike's and ordering the No. 12 sandwich. There's no No. 12 on the menu, but they always know exactly what I'm talking about. Apparently Jersey Mike's employees are required to memorize all former menu items as well as the current ones. It's almost like a hidden menu. Every time I hear someone say they're headed to Subway, I tell them to come here instead. They rarely do, I assume because Subway is cheaper, but guess what? You get what you pay for. When I order the No. 12, they actually take the giant slab of roast beef out of the deli case and slice it fresh right onto the bun. Then they do the same with the pepperoni. Then they do the same with the provolone. But the best thing about a Jersey Mike's sub is the pickles. I don't know if they're homemade or what, but they taste great. I usually ask for double and sometimes triple pickles, and it's still not enough. (Sadly, some Jersey Mike's stores use generic Burger King-esque canned pickles; if that were the case for this location, I would dock a star. Maybe two. Yes, they're that good.) One complaint I do have is the number of toppings are somewhat limited. I could definitely go for some green peppers, olives, maybe cucumber, alfalfa sprouts, etc. But your choices are limited to tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, jalapenos and banana peppers. That said, you will never see me at Subway if Jersey Mike's is nearby. The quality of the food more than makes up for the increase in price. read more

What can you say about a chain sub shop. Perhaps compare this location to other? I like how this shop has a prep area you can see. Some you can't see what they're doing, not that I think something shifty is going on. I have left other locations not having the special toppings I asked for but here you can see them adding everything. Friendly and professional staff but not a lot of seating. You'll find Jeni's Ice Cream next door and a Northstar Cafe on the opposite end of the small strip they all share. With that, they also all share a small parking lot out back. With it being Clintonville in general, parking can get tight, especially since everyone loves the above mentioned. Many days I'll grab a sub, then ice cream then some bakery items at Northstar (which I foresee happening very soon.) For the cheesesteak snobs give the Jersey Mike's Famous Philly a try. Better yet, try the chicken instead of steak. Great with hot sauce. read more

You're offered LTO + some pickles or peppers as your "veggie" toppings. Sauces include mayo, oil and vinegar. Pretty plain Jane but decently good. The meat is generous and the roll (options are white or wheat) was fresh enough. They have fun marketing themed around the Jersey shore which I enjoyed being a former Philadelphian. Oh man, this place is so yummy. The owners are super, super friendly. They only have one thing I can order and that's a veggie. It comes with so much cheese it's almost unpleasant. I'm trying to reduce my dairy intake because I'm actually allergic so I haven't eaten here in forever. Get your subs Mike's Way, they are really good! It isn't usually too crowded and it's much better than similar places like Jimmy John's. True deli style. The meats are sliced right in front of you. This is the only sandwich shop in Ohio that I have ever seen slicing the meat AFTER you order the sandwich. It makes a difference, too. These things just taste fresh and better. Almost as if they must have better, fresher ingredients if they go to that amount to trouble to keep the meat that fresh. With so many fresh meats and readily suggested sub combo's plastered all over in J.M.'s I never can get an order together in a reasonable amount of time. I like too many of the meats. I can't narrow it down quick enough and then I feel rushed, which can sometimes lead to a rushed-flustered order. And the in-between sizes always makes me wish I ordered another size, regardless of what size I ordered. These are such silly frivolous things to whine about. My only real gripe is that there isn't a Jersey Mikes closer to my house. read more

Prices here are outrageous somehow. I wish I would have gotten a receipt because I am still baffled how two "regular" subs cost me $15. One reason is because they ask for a tip on the credit card reader. Why would I tip them, they didn't deliver my sandwich to my house, or bring it to me at the table. Very shady. read more

Let me start by saying that this was my first visit to this location, and I have been a loyal long time customer of another location, and have never had a bad sub until today. Having said that, I walked in and stood there for a while before an employee said anything to me, and it went down hill from there. The slicer was filthy (please see the picture), and it was obvious the counters had not been wiped in a while. I ordered my usual supreme club, and when he was slicing the nub (less than a 1/2 inch thick) of dry end piece roast beef, and I started to say something about it, he ignored me and started talking to another employee, if that wasn't bad enough, the bacon was burnt and the mayonnaise had a thick yellow gel on top which ended up on my sandwich. I would like to say that I was brave enough to try it, but I was not, and it went directly into the trash. So, I basically took over $7 out of my wallet, and threw it away. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! read more
