Ok so I was wondering what was taking this guy so long to make my sandwich. I got the #13, the Italian sub. Young man was slicing the meat so thin. It's thinner than tissue paper, so much I can see through the pepperoni and salmi. Top it off this location has changed the price for a giant sandwich now. It's 20 bucks. So for a meal for my self it's 27 dollars. I'm not at a fine restaurant or eating steak lunch for goodness sake!!! I come to jersey mikes a lot but I won't set foot in this place again unless they fix things. The service as well as the server was horrible . We ordered 2 sandwiches on line , neither was made correctly , they both had the wrong bread and one was 4" shorter tan what was ordered and paid for . I patroned this location today. There were quite a few customers but I was willing to stand in line considering my positive experiences at other Jersey Mike's locations. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my experience at this location, after standing in line for several minutes, I was overlooked by staff. Customers that came in after me were serviced before me. I dine at the Jersey Mike's on Rollins Way maybe once a month. Today, I decided to wait for my sandwich and take it home. The restaurant was not busy, but call-in orders were the priority. The lady welcomed me when I came into the store and asked for my order. I order the Portabella Sandwich, a giant size with onions, mushrooms, and jalapeno. I was disappointed when I got home to see that my sandwich had a small amount of vegetables. My sandwich looked like a mini sandwich spread across the bread like the store was running low on vegetables. I had more bread than vegetables. Which is disappointing, paying $20. There needs to be more consistency with how much vegetables should be on the sandwich each time I have ordered in the past. I will give them one more chance to get this corrected. They forgot to make my 4th sandwich of which I already paid for online, they were busy I told them to just refund it. They took my phone number and stated they would. They did not refund me and when I called they had forgot and stated I could pick up a sandwich only that night because it had been 7 days, but could not refund or put points on my account. I have been a Jersey Mike's fan for over 20 years. Not only am I a loyalty shore points member but I went as far as applying for my own Hersey Mike's Franchise. Bar none....this location is the worst Jersey Mike's I have ever been to. The customer service is horrific and the owner does not appear to care that his employees have serious attitude issues. I have already notified the corporate office with just a few of issues. Both stores - Rollins Way and Woodruff Road - are way above any other sandwich shop in the area. Bread is always fresh, meats are freshly cut, the variety of garden condiments is good. Meats on the sandwich are plentiful and prepared very well, especially the roast beef and turkey (which my wife always gets. Employees are always smiling are helping each other instead of griping about having to do something like employees at other food business do. That was such a bad experience, I came in with no line and all the workers were behind the counter, not doing anything. They said "I'll be right with you" took 5 minutes before they took my order. I stepped back while they cooked my food on the flat top but they proceeded with 10 people before tell I h me my food was finished and waiting at the register. If there was another Jersey Mike's in Columbus that was staffed exclusively by brain damaged monkeys, I would go there because it would he run more efficiently than this one. I love Jersey Mike's. However this location really seems to struggle during the busy lunch hour. I have been skipped over on several different occasions now and no apologies were offered for my extended wait. When I finally got to the point of choosing my toppings, the preparer was abrupt and cut me off before I could even get words out of my mouth. I understand busy. We recently had Jersey Mikes cater a farewell luncheon at BMACH. *Pros: The sandwiches were really good, everything was fresh. *Cons: They were over half an hour late delivering the sandwiches. *When asking if there was a military discount, they said yes. Yet when it arrived we had to pay the full amount. *When we called to ask what happened, they said to bring in the receipt in and they would "take care of it". We showed up with our receipt and the manager said they would not refund anything. There is not any discounts on catering orders. He literally stuck his hand out to shake my husband's hand and walked away. *Not very friendly customer service, very matter-of-fact. Not looking to do business again. The previous poster's experience is hard to believe given my experience at this location. I dined in, mind you, and was probably the first customer of the day having walked in at 10:30a. Service was super friendly and very competent. The store is relatively new and everything was spotless. The owner took my order and another employee built my giant #5 on wheat. It looked so good when I opened it up at the table I had to take a picture of it. She was a little heavy on the pepper relish (which I'll admit is no Lenny's) and vinegar, but that was my fault. Too much acid combined with the pickles. Everything was fresh and tasty. This place is hands down the best sub chain out there so be sure to give it a try. I've been coming since they've opened in Columbus. At beginning the service was right on point and employees were well mannered and managed. I saw the owner quite often in store making sure things moved efficiently. Over the past year, service and management has gone down hill. You never see any authority in there , I guess owner has better things to do these days. My last 4 visits are quite annoying and frustrating. The employees are having conversations amongst each other laughing and giggling while the line is way backed up. No management to be seen. Just make our sandwich's so we can get going. Last visit they did a 8 sandwich online order while there were 6 people in line at the freaking store. Do ours first and then the unknown online order. Ridiculous, bad management. Sandwiches are made with care and the staff are very customer friendly. Food is of course great. I would recommend the Original Italian, Mike's way with pepper relish. It's my favorite. Also, make sure you get a Mike's card. You can rack up points each time you make a purchase to get free sandwiches and such in the future. read more

First of all, the subs at the Jersey Mikes I have visited are made with quality and taste great. That is true for this location as well. However, the difference for this location is the poor customer service and that is why I rated this location as I did. I have been visiting this location at least once a week for some time now and have experienced wait time of 5-10 minutes to order with no one in line. While I wait, the employees are standing around the register, leaning on the back counter or getting stuff from the back. I understand when there is a line, and that is most of the time, I will be waiting. But when there isn't a line, why aren't they taking orders or cleaning tables. But nothing compares to how the owner/manager treated me during my last visit. While running some errands this past weekend, I stopped in to order 5 giant subs with the condiments for Mike's Way on the side and would be in a few hours to pick them up. After paying the owner/manager in advance and leaving the store, I noticed I was charged for something called "SubsByBox" for 4 of the subs. I had not ordered "SubsByBox", I ordered 5 giant subs and no one said that I would be charged extra for having condiments on the side. The total for my overall ticket ended up being $11 more than I expected for the 5 subs I ordered. So when I returned I asked the staff and they were unable to explain the difference in price or even why I would have been charged for "SubsByBox". So they ended up calling the owner/manager, who had left for the day, to explain to it to me. When I got on the line with him, he was extremely rude, arrogant and still never answered the question. All he really did was ask me if I got what I ordered or did I receive enough pickles. He did say the trays for the condiments cost him extra. However, when asked where or when it was disclosed that getting the condiments on the side would be an extra charge, he only kept asking me if I got what I ordered. Finally to be fair, he did offered to refund me the difference next time I came into the store. However when I told him, based on this experience, I wasn't sure I was coming back and I really just wanted to understand the difference in price, he mentioned that he had plenty of customers and that I would not break him. He eventually ended the call by saying he was done and that he was hanging up now. Even though this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever been involved in, the subs I received tasted great and the condiments were fresh and just like I asked. Ok so the couple times we've been here it has been soooo yummy! The only thing that's kinda not cool is the fact that while you order they ask you to add in a tip? Today I had the worst experience I have ever encountered with an employee. I always put in my order on the JM's app. I have been ordering the same thing for now the entire time I have been going JM's. I chose to call the store to notify them that my sandwich I couldn't eat it bc it was made incorrectly..I can not eat it due to the fact that I would get sick. She went on to notify me that I couldn't not have a replacement. That if I wanted it the way I like it is if I reordered another sandwich. I can not believe that they didn't care to go the extra mile to have a satisfied customer. I will definitely think twice when it comes to EVER going back to this specific location after how rude the employee was to me and how the Manager did nothing to make things right. Jersey mike's is a great sub shop in Columbus but the customer service there is really below standard. The owner works most weekends and every time I go in the store it seems like he is mad at the staff or customers. Also if you download the app and order online then the store can get upset when you sub a meat for another meat. This is a great Sub restaurant. Way better than any competitors. The owner puts attention to detail in every slice of meat on the sandwich, and the servers do a great job of explaining the menu. Jersey Mike's has some of the better sandwiches available in Columbus. Good bread and good ingredients (if lacking variety), should make this place a slam dunk. Good sandwiches fast for pickup (or eat-in) is a convenience N. Cols has lacked. Except when they don't actually make your sandwich. Saturday was the third time I've called in an order, given them ample time to make it (on Saturday, 30 minutes) and found it unmade at time of pickup. They weren't swamped or busy - there was literally no one in the store and a gaggle of teens hanging about behind the counter. When I walked in a gray gentlemen was very friendly and asked "what kind of sandwich can I get you?" And I responded "no need! I called mine in a half hour ago!" This triggered 5 teenagers simultaneously turning around and staring comically at the empty counter where I'm sure my sandwich would have been had they actually made it. Since this was the third time they'd done this, and I had a hungry friend waiting in the car to go to ATL to catch a flight, I asked why they hadn't made it when I called it in. The grey fella got dark in the brows and asked "do you want me to make you your sandwich OR NOT?" with a hearty helping of Jersey "tude." I said "NOT." I made my friend a fast sandwich at home and she arrived at ATL on time. No thanks to Joisey Mike's.
