This was my first time trying Chicken Salad Chick, and I visited on Veterans Day--first off, thank you for supporting the US military by giving away free whole meals! I had the Classic Caroline on a croissant with the grape salad, and it was absolutely amazing. Despite being packed, they had a staff member at the front door directing traffic, and service was incredibly fast. Amazing food, amazing patriotic spirit, and overall just a fantastic experience. I really like this place. They have some pretty unique flavored chicken salads such as lemon basil. They are all good but my favorites are fancy Nancy, fruity Fran, and the egg salad. I usually get a scoop of one of those on a sandwich and I get a side of the mac n cheese which is delicious! Today I got a BLT with Fancy Nancy and the bacon was perfectly crispy. I've never really been one for any salad and a name like Chicken Salad Chick originally turned me off to this place but after being introduced to the food by a co-worker I decided to have a meal here. The menu is pretty straightforward (not unlike Chipotle) where there are some flavored for protein and you just choose the shell it's served in. I went with a Kickin Kay Lin sandwich and I was very delighted with the meal. The price was very fair and the food was good and fresh. The management was extremely friendly and the cashier suggested some of their more popular foods and walked me through the menu. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I've been to at least 6-8 locations, and this was by far the worst customer experience I've ever had. The food is always great, so my low rating is for service alone. I stopped into this location while traveling through town and the girl working behind the register looked miserable. She quickly asked what I wanted and I just decided to buy some ready made chicken salad instead of waiting on a to go order. She handed it to me and I had to ask for crackers. I then had to ask again for a cup for the drink I paid for. I opened the bag and noticed there were no napkins, so I asked if I could get a few. I was basically ignored and then told to go to the tables to get some. Overall, the girls behind the counter seemed annoyed with the world and were pretty rude. Mind you this was late afternoon, so the place wasn't busy. My co-workers went to the Airport Thwy Chick and I had them bring me back a large container (4-5 servings) of Fancy Nancy. I have always loved grapes in my chicken salad, the more the better. But I was pretty disappointed with it because in this whole container of chicken salad there were exactly 2 grapes! First of all, this container does NOT make 4-5 sandwiches unless you like more bread than chicken salad, so for $13.00 and change, they could give you more to actually make 4-5 sandwiches. The slices of bread are really thick, so they could actually slice it a bit thinner. But anyway, when I made the sandwiches for me and my hubby, I actually sliced the grapes to spread them around, 1 grape for him, 1 grape for me!!
