My expectations were very low. I am thrilled to report that Ruby's exceeded all of my expectations with a pleasant place to eat, fantastic service and quality food at a very affordable price. Jackpot! In this small restaurant, we saw what seemed to be a large number of locals. They have a very strong breakfast selection that is offered all day long. Since we were there at lunchtime, we decided to focus of the lunch offerings. My wife had the chicken salad, which was artfully arranged. The Chicken Salad comes with mayo, celery, onion, mixed lettuce, dried cranberries, fresh apples, mandarin oranges and poppyseed dressing., as well as an English muffin for $15. My wife thought it was one of the best chicken salads she has had! I ordered the Clubhouse Sandwich which came with lettuce, turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar, tomato and mayo on Texas toast, as well as a side of excellent fries for $16. Honestly, if this place was closer to us, I'd be here at least once a week, maybe more! I very highly recommend Ruby's.

I am just going to be done with this Jimmy Johns. It's not worth the hassle. If you make a mistake, you need to make it right to the customer's satisfaction. Poor experience. I'm sure Jimmy Johns is one of many competitors of Subway, a direct competitor since they make sub sandwiches. This particular Jimmy Johns is located in Chanhassen, off the MN Hwy 5W, near where my friend lived, so it was good to come here and not overkill on the budget and time, since we had to keep a schedule. There is a private lot here and there was really nobody here on a Friday afternoon when we rolled in here. Better than long lines any day! I didn't really have any expectations here, other than a good cheap sandwich that was healthy and tasty. I tried to compare it to Subway and the comparison was abet similar. Only major problem is with Jimmy Johns is that they don't have vegetables. Maybe lettuce, but that's all. With Subway, you get a more variety of stuff to choose from and not just a list off a menu without seeing really what they put inside. In hindsight, I should have suggested to go to Subway instead of Jimmy Johns, but the Yelper in me wanted to try new things, even though it's a chain restaurant up in these parts, I don't have them in Hawaii, just yet. The restaurant itself was small, like your neighborhood Subway, McDonalds, or Starbucks. The place was clean and empty, so that's always a plus, even though its standard practice anyway. The service was good and expected, so that part was good enough. What else can you expect from a fast food chain than good food fast? Nothing else than good customer service. Can't say I enjoyed it, but didn't hate it either. The jury is still out on this one and need to do more testing. For now, it's a good place to grab a sandwich. I grabbed water for my drink and ordered a tuna sandwich. The taste was different than Subway and it was really far from gourmet. Prices are on par with other fast food places and with Subway. Believe me, you wouldn't find me at Quizno's, but I will give Jimmy Johns a try whenever I am on change it up a bit and Jimmy Johns was the way to go for now. Recommended wherever Jimmy Johns is.the continental US again. While I do enjoy the healthy aspect of Subway, I need to Support local!
