Single with cheese, onion rings, fries
    Lindsey S.

This has been on my list for a while but Victoria is far from our normal range. Tonight we went to sauna camp that was a couple of miles away and this was the perfect post sauna meal! I went with the single and we split both the fries and the onion rings since the guy behind the counter told me "both" when I asked which he liked best. Burger was perfect with crispy edges and great cheese. Bun was toasted and held up to the burger but not the star of the show. Burger is just meat and cheese but they have lots of sauces to pick from by the door! I agree that both the fries and rings were good. If I was picking one I'd go with the fries. They have single beer and seltzers you can pick from if eating your meal there. Also a nice selection of wine and obviously lots of meat. If I lived closer I would be a regular.

    Delicious ribeye sandwich.

We were visiting Lake Minnetonka and driving around the lake. We found ourselves in Victoria when we got hungry. We didn't want a big sitdown meal so we checked out this deli. They had a delicious ribeye sandwich that we split along with a bag of chips and a soda. It was plenty of food for the two of us and very tasty. Everyone working at the deli was very nice. They had some beautiful looking meats and vegetables there. Wish we had a deli like this by our house.

We have had sandwiches at The Butcher's Deli a couple times but recently tried a burger and was very impressed. As far as the shop, it is the kind of place you don't usually see in the suburbs. They sell wine and liquor, have a few groceries, a butcher counter, and have a well stocked deli. They also have a small menu of sandwiches, burgers etc. and both indoor and sidewalk seating. The owner and the staff are very nice and the place just has a cool vibe. Back to the burger. It was good - very good. The smash patties were perfectly seasoned, the bacon was crispy, and the bun was fresh and soft but still held up well. Honestly my only complaint was the absurdly small plate it came on. Maybe that plate played a part in it, but it reminded me of Lion's Tap in Eden Prairie. Good stuff.

Little did I know the gem that was hidden in the little strip mall in Victoria! I have had a couple of different sandwiches there and always been happy with the portion and the service. The grocery and wine component to the store is also a plus, and they have a beautiful deli counter. My only wish is that they had a good vegetarian option, but turkey will do! I look forward to trying a burger--they looked fantastic!

Double Bacon Cheeseburger, California Burger, fries and Onion Rings

Great experience at The Butcher's Deli today. We had a bacon double cheeseburger and a California burger, both were amazing. Fries were good but the star of the side show were the onion rings-amazing!

Great selection of high quality meat and growing collection of spirits and wine. A thankful addition to Victoria.

Been here a few times. Less impressed each time. Food is average and the service is below average.

They have a deli, vast meat selection, and hot food to order! They also have lunch specials so there's really never a bad time to come. Everyone who works here is so friendly, willing to offer help, suggestions, and food pairings. There is a small seating area inside but tables available on the front porch as well! Every visit here for us is a treat, but there are a few items that are consistently at the top of our list. I am absolutely obsessed with their pickle roll-up pasta salad. It's uniquely delicious and has that perfect tangy, savory balance that keeps me coming back for more. Their honey dill smoked salmon is another personal favorite; it's incredibly tender with a beautiful smoky flavor and just the right hint of sweet honey and dill. My husband is equally in love with their maple glaze smoked salmon - it's sweet, rich, and perfectly smoked. And for a quick, satisfying snack, his go-to is always their turkey jerky, which is packed with flavor. Beyond the specialty items, their fresh meats are simply unmatched! We've bought many of their steaks, and they are consistently fantastic (highly recommend their NY strips and tomahawks when you feel fancy). No matter how we grill them, they always turn out incredibly moist and juicy. But the real star in the grilling department I think might just be their brats. Seriously, the casing on these brats is perfection - it crisps up beautifully on the grill, creating that satisfying snap with every bite. I've tried brats from so many places, and none come close to the crispiness and flavor of theirs. The quality, flavor, and unique selection here truly make it a standout. This isn't just a butcher shop; it's honestly a culinary destination! A definite must-visit for anyone who appreciates top-notch meats and delicious prepared foods.

They have lots of local eats and are happy to help you find what you need. The brats are the best. Cant go wrong with any flavor. I have always liked the wild rice one- although Im not sure if they stopped making it or if its just seasonal. The breakfast burrito is also amazing. They have cry baby craigs hot sauce- if you know you know.

Ended up sitting at the bar, which is fine, we're bar folks. But let's talk about the chairs, which I know seems an odd thing to write about. SOMEONE FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT! These chairs were like sitting at home; in fact, the whole place felt like you were at home. It was our first time there, and we felt like we were at home. The only downside was that bar service was a bit slow, but the guy was really friendly, so I wouldn't call it a complaint, but I just like my refills faster. I came here for lunch... then again a few days later! Lol. Atmosphere/Appearance: Located in what I thought was Excelsior, is actually Tonka Bay right off of some water is this gem. It's in a plaza with a few other businesses and a part of a private parking lot. The inside isn't too crazy. You walk in and you are greeted by grand smells of pizza cooking in their huge steel ovens! The menu is overhead and the dining area is to the left. I remember a lot of exposed wood, plastic benches and just a classic looking pizza joint. Service: I can't remember the young lady's name, but Sydney or Candace come to mind. Lol. Whoever it was that took care of us was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. However, all you do is just place your order at the counter, take the number they give you and go sit down then wait for you food to be brought out to you. Drinks are self-serve as well. Food: Throughout my visits I've had the chance to check out 3 of their wing flavors and a couple of toppings on their pizzas. The wow factor here is about big the slices are. They literally don't even fit onto a single plate. The edges hang over rim of the plate. Lol. So for lunch you can order the pizza + salad combo and it totally fills you up. The wings are also enormous and quite delicious I might add! I'd definitely get them again. Cajun and the Buffalo were my favorite, but the BBQ wasn't too bad either. Value: A single order of wings will give you 6 and it'll cost you $10.00. Double your order for $16.50. Like I mentioned, they wings are huge so I think this is a pretty good value. Any time a day you can get a cheese slice + salad + drink for only $12.50. Toppings will cost extra of course. In conclusion, I loved this place. However, coming for lunch and eating heavy makes for a slow rest of the work day. Lol. I ain't trippin' though, sometimes that's what's necessary!

Serves very good pizza, tasty sandwiches with spicy chips and flavorful, generous pasta with a slice of garlic toast.. I had a large bowl of spicy chicken fettuccine with a slice of garlic toast hanging off to one side. I found the dish to be full of flavor (and to be fair probably calories as well). I devoured the toast but took home enough leftover chicken and pasta to make a nice meal for later consumption. If dining in one orders at the counter, is issued a number stand and grabs a table or booth. Orders when ready (relatively quickly) were promptly brought out by cheerful servers. Fountain drinks, silverware, plates and paper napkins can be found at a separate stations along the wall opposite the order counter (in the midst of the dine-in portion). Ate here with my son who works nearby (shout out to Wilkes Auto) and two old friends from my college days. All left with satisfied looks on their collective faces. Based upon the number of people milling around awaiting their respective orders as well as the steady stream of customers in and out of the main entrance (on a weekday evening no less) Joey Nova's appears to do a brisk take out business.
