A good sandwich shop right off LPGA Blvd This chain started in 1975 when Peter Cancro of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey at the age of 18 bought a local sandwich restaurant named Mike's Submarines. He renamed and franchised the business and grew it into 2700 stores around the United States today. Florida sport 216 of these stores and this is one of them. This one is located slightly to the north of the Tanger outlet mall and south of the Bucee's in a small 5-business strip mall. Parking is pretty limited and traffic can be a little difficult. The storefront is not very large and has 2 tables outside and 2 inside. You have to squeeze by one table to enter the line. As with most sandwich shops you order at one end of the see-through glass and follow your order to the end. I went there when I was visiting the area recently and they had a Friday Easter Special. I ordered a tuna sub. It was prepared within minutes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The store was clean and the price was very reasonable. Overall, this is a good place to get a good meal at a reasonable price in the Daytona area.

Doesn't look like a giant size sub to me !!!!

They keep the menu simple, and they absolutely nail it every single time. The chicken fingers are unbelievably tender, juicy, and always taste fresh--not something you can say about every fast-food restaurant. Now let's talk about the Cane's Sauce...I completely understand the hype. It's creamy, tangy, and the perfect companion for the chicken and fries. And don't even think about skipping the Texas toast. It's buttery, perfectly toasted, and honestly some of the best bread you'll find anywhere in fast food. The thing that keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every visit has been the same--hot food, friendly service, and excellent quality. In a world where fast food can be hit or miss, Raising Cane's continues to impress. If you're a chicken finger fan, this place is absolutely worth the stop. Side note: there is a Chick-fil-a across the street from Cane's. A popular chicken fast food restaurant. It is the first time I did not see a line waiting to order there. First time ever!

Order: chicken tender meal It comes with fries, slaw and toast. The tenders were really moist yet crispy. Really good for chicken tenders. Besides the good chicken fingers, they don't offer anything else. I know it's in their name but I was expecting a little more diversity in the menu; maybe a chicken salad or chicken wings. Nope; they just offer chicken tenders or chicken sandwich. I'm not a fan of tenders so I probably won't be back. But if you love tenders, they are a great fast food option for yummy chicken fingers.

I spent $14--actual legal tender--on what I can only describe as "Steamed Sadness." * The Burger: I've seen thicker slices of ham in a budget lunchable. This wasn't a slider; it was a soggy sliver of meat-flavored gelatin. It didn't even require chewing; it just sort of... dissolved into my soul. * The Fries: These fries had the structural integrity of a cooked noodle left in a rainstorm. I'm convinced they weren't fried so much as they were lightly misted with lukewarm water and whispered at by a potato. * The Value: For $14, I expected a burger, not a biology experiment on how much moisture a bun can absorb before it becomes a liquid. Final Verdict: If you enjoy paying double digits for a box of damp sponges, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away. Disgusting.

The patty literally was disolved into the bun. I don't believe it was even a meat. More like a mushy spam. Should have known when the place was empty at 1230pm. I'd love to be able to post the pic I took of it. Someone on health side of government needs to go in and order a burger and then inspect it. No way I was eating this shit! I will never ever go back to a krystal.

A lousy experience at a CFA? Impossible, but true - but only in Daytona Beach, where pretty much…read moreevery restaurant sucks. There truly is a first time for everything. Our simple drive-through for ice cream was not like any CFA in our lives. The one constant in our life since the '70's has been a friendly CFA employee greeting us and handling our orders competently and with effortless efficiency. Stop the presses - this CFA across from the track sux bigly. The short 4-car line took forever only for us to finally drive up to a surly order-taker reminiscent of every Burger King we ever visited. He mumbled unintelligibly and fumbled and stumbled with his handheld. He never looked up nor did he make eye contact. His hostile demeanor was so odd for CFA. And he messed up our single order - a $2.09 ice cream cone in a cup. Clearly good employees are hard to find in our fair state of FL's biggest ghetto tourist capital of Daytona Beach. This CFA is a glaring example of an absolutely terrible restaurant masquerading as one of the signature best-run casual dining establishments in the US. What a joke. Worse CFA ever. Needless to say, we were shocked. CFA is renown for always hiring and training pleasant and professional folks. Not here. Terrible. Looking on Yelp reinforced it's not just us. Judging by our miserable experience as well as those of many others, starting at the top, this franchisee and his crew need to be replaced. Looking for CFA in DB? Keep driving. There are others in relatively close proximity. Don't say you weren't warned. This sucky one def ain't anything close to your normal CFA.
