I always thought Chick-fil-A was an overpriced fast food place for the rich, was I wrong. On my way to Bass Pro in Daytona Beach I stopped in the Chick-fil-A and order a chicken sandwich and a unsweetened iced tea in the drive through. To my surprise everything was under $10. I ate my sandwich in the parking lot and it was great. They even gave me a packet of Buffalo and Ranch sauce to put on my sandwich at no extra cost. I will definitely return a this Chick-fil-A next time I don't want to eat at home and I am in Daytona. read more

A lousy experience at a CFA? Impossible, but true - but only in Daytona Beach, where pretty much every restaurant sucks. There truly is a first time for everything. Our simple drive-through for ice cream was not like any CFA in our lives. The one constant in our life since the '70's has been a friendly CFA employee greeting us and handling our orders competently and with effortless efficiency. Stop the presses - this CFA across from the track sux bigly. The short 4-car line took forever only for us to finally drive up to a surly order-taker reminiscent of every Burger King we ever visited. He mumbled unintelligibly and fumbled and stumbled with his handheld. He never looked up nor did he make eye contact. His hostile demeanor was so odd for CFA. And he messed up our single order - a $2.09 ice cream cone in a cup. Clearly good employees are hard to find in our fair state of FL's biggest ghetto tourist capital of Daytona Beach. This CFA is a glaring example of an absolutely terrible restaurant masquerading as one of the signature best-run casual dining establishments in the US. What a joke. Worse CFA ever. Needless to say, we were shocked. CFA is renown for always hiring and training pleasant and professional folks. Not here. Terrible. Looking on Yelp reinforced it's not just us. Judging by our miserable experience as well as those of many others, starting at the top, this franchisee and his crew need to be replaced. Looking for CFA in DB? Keep driving. Went to this Chick-fil-A Friday morning (04/18/25) and was trying to order through the app but couldn't order the chicken nugget meal with hash browns through the app. Ended up doing drive thru and the attendant had to order the items individually. She misplaced our drink order; it was supposed to be a SunJoy but was marked on the receipt as a unsweetened tea and delivered as a sweet tea. All kinds of messed up! Newly renovated. I put in a mobile order and the drive thru was still super long. Maybe it's a new staff and they are all being trained for the first time. These people know customer service. Went here in search of a receipt after purchasing several large orders during the course of an event. The manager took her time to find the receipt in their system and reprint it for me helping me to complete my expense report. The only snag I had was waiting for orders to be made, but that's more to do with their online system wanting me to wait until I got to the store to start preparing my large orders. On my 3rd day of working in my new job I offered to bring lunch from Chick-fil-A for my employer who graciously had bought me lunch before. I ordered a market salad through the drive thru for her but when I arrived at the job there was a cobb salad. Turns out my employer is allergic to eggs and threw it out. I was kiddingly called the girl who could not get a salad right, but I don't believe it was a joke. I will not be using Chick-fil-A again, especially when I am treating anyone. I just wanna say whoever was working the night shift 2/6/25 was so rude to my husband, not only did they give our uber eats order to the wrong person but they claim to check names but didn't. We went through the drive-thru at lunch this week and it was done so well, with the two car lines, taking our order ahead of time and giving our name, paying to the girl under the tent, and then receiving the order in no time at all. I had a very unpleasant experience here. The days of Chick-fil-A going above and beyond are over. They Forgot 3 items I ordered and normally I check the bag but I thought... "This is Chick-fil-A." So I drove home and realized I didn't have all the items so I called them and the person who spoke to me was not very helpful at all. I drove back to Chick-fil-A and they gave me the items and didn't even apologize. Wasted my time and didn't even compensate me with a free item. This has only happened to me once with Chick-fil-A. The last time it happened they gave me a 10 dollar gift card and a free mac & cheese. Most importantly they were genuinely apologetic for the inconvenience. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I have been to many Chick-fil-A's and was very disappointed in this one! Like most, their drive thru was busy. The disappointment came with their inability to better direct traffic and keep the line moving. They had no solution for waiting when people ahead of us didn't have their food. Seemed as if they had just one spot for waiters to pull over causing the rest of us to sit and sit and sit. Drive thru took us 30 minutes - ridiculous! I'm embarrassed to say that I did not prepare anything for dinner last night. We got caught up in virtual school and I just flat out forgot! As I was cleaning out Christmas decorations in the garage it hit me that I had nothing to feed my troops. Luckily Chick-Fil-A has just come out with these awesome meal kits to make dinner super easy so we grabbed a few to make chicken parmesan for the family. Well, remember how I said I was cleaning out those Christmas decorations? Guess who threw her back out? This girl! PJ, the guy who's really only cooked Kraft Mac N Cheese, was stuck making dinner. Luckily, the kits came with super simple instructions because he blew it out of the water! Fresh ingredients, portable kits, with simple instructions - I'm hooked! It was so much better than Blue Apron and the other door deliveries I've tried in the past. Plus, it was super affordable. When my kids first saw the ingredients they weren't inteeeested in trying dinner, but once they saw my plate they wanted a bite. All three ended up wanting their own as soon as they tried a bite and devoured their helpings. I'll definitely do it again! read more

It's impossible to fathom how people actually eat at this place. The smell of old fried and re-fried grease is overpowering, you can actually smell it across the road. The food tastes horrible and smells the same. I can't simply understand why folks would wait in a 15 car long line for anything from this place. Did an order through the mobile app and had delivered through door dash. The order came out wrong as I ordered 10 CFA biscuits and they sent a box of 10 minis. This is a great Chick Fil A! Clean location and the service was prompt. I was happy with my meal and enjoyed my visit to this location. The staff was friendly (as always) and were helpful with delivering my meal and refilling my drink. I had planned to sit here and work for a little bit but they don't have any tables with plugs so I ended up booking it to Panera Bread once I finished eating. They do have WiFi just be sure to have your devices charged if you plan to work there for a bit. read more

We ordered AND payed for our breakfast on the app, then later pulled into the curbside pickup spot when we got there, but no one was there to help us, so we had to go inside, which is fine. When we got inside they informed us that our food had not yet been made because they were waiting for us to show up first?!? My high praise is starting to diminish in regards to this location. The fast service and hot food is truly appreciated, however, the quality recently has started lacking (which is not appreciated.. considering the price). I am their biggest fan in regards to the spicy chicken sandwich!! However, I am not a fan of the soggy bun from where it has been sitting in a foil bag, under a heat lamp, all afternoon. Also, the fries this evening were atrocious. Why is it the only time the food is truly fresh is when it is during lunch time?! The fries had the appearance of being cooked and then recooked again (they were dark brown and all you could taste was oil).
