I don't know whether to recommend for the food or not because I never got food. One person in front of me being helped, 3 people making his sandwich-- several "stops" to chit chat and laugh and whatever. After 10 mins of standing there I figured it'd likely be another 10-20 before I got a sandwich so I just left. Listen, I'm all for employee chitchat and comaraderie!! Makes for a fun job and happy employees. WE LIKE THAT!! but when it interferes with your efficiency and customer service, it gets annoying. Just placed an online order for an original Italian. I am very allergic to gluten and dairy, so I ordered gluten free with no provolone. I even added an extra note stating my allergy and to please be careful. I picked up my sandwich, drove all the way home and opened my sandwich to find cheese in it. This is really irresponsible. People can end up in the hospital for that sort of thing. Now I have to drive all the way back to the store to get a refund or get a new one. Overpriced and mediocre. Not impressed. There are plenty of subpar places to get tasteless subs.

They were slipping for awhile but they seem to have better staff during the daytime. If you order at dinner time or 7ish... you will likely get something wrong. They do fill orders with what they choose. Example; if they're out of something they'll sub it without asking you if it's ok... they've sent us the wrong bread, wrong cheese, even wrong toppings but... they are starting to improve which is why I wanted to update my previous review. They do seem to be trying to do better so I will give them that. read more

Staff not very friendly and when I asked for the sub Mike's way they didn't seem to know what that meant. And when asked for extra meat it seemed to be an issue . I guess because I said I wanted an ultimate and before I could finish she went to cut the meat. I don't plan on going back. I can get a good sub at Publix . Went in to try new salad offerings. Not on menu but do have. Price of med sandwich. Have to ask for any cheese but provolone. Very basic: shred lettuce. 3 slices cheese. 5 slices of ham. Both cut up. Having spent 4 years in Baltimore we were spoiled by having really great shops for Philly Cheesesteaks. In Florida we have tried a number of places. Some were fair, most were pretty bad. Then we discovered Jersey Mikes. THE best cheesesteaks we have found here, bar none. Quality is consistent, meats and accompaniments are great and service has been wonderful. Today we were in Dunedin area in early afternoon and spotted this Jersey Mike's. We split a large Big Kahuna. Cannot imagine eating more than half. It was delicious, prepared just as asked, with lots of hot peppers. Tyler was very welcoming and took extra care in making sure our sub was perfect. I really want to try some of their other subs, I'm sure they are all great, but I just can't pass the cheesesteak! Highly recommended, always great. read more

I've been eating at Jersey Mike's for 20 years. Not this particular one, but Jersey Mike's in many different areas. I really can't think of any other sammich shop that makes a better sub! I walked in and this place looks really CLEAN! That's nice in a restaurant! I told the girl I wanted a #5, medium on white (#5 The Super Sub provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo). I usually get the #5, #13 (Italian) or #56 (THE BIG KAHUNA!) Jersey Mike's uses good quality meats (MUCH better then Sub-wretch!) and they have ample veggie toppings from which to choose. I almost feel as though I am eating something healthful when I eat here. At least it's better than French Fries and a burger! I got my sammich with the toppings I wanted (Tom's way) and I snapped a couple pix before I tore into it. These really are GOOD sammiches! The girl who made my sammich was nice and polite, she made me a good sub and I got double "Shore Points" towards a free sammich today. Life is good! read more

What a disappointment. We ordered 4 sandwiches and only 1 person out of 4 was happy. If you would like to look up the sale, my ticket # 01-001241-01-206629. I see no reason to ever go back. I didn't order my sandwich "Mikes way" but that's what I and another person got. To add insult to injury, there was so much oil the bread was saturated, the waxy paper wrap was saturated and it got oil onto my desk. Seriously? Why so much oil? Been here 3 times since they opened a few weeks ago and of the 3 experiences have been quick and friendly, just like yo mama :) As far as chain sub joints go, I like Jersey Mike, but not for their cold subs. The winner winner chicken here is their cheesesteaks. Hot, plentiful and absolutely smothered with cheese. None of that one slice of melted provolone bull crap. Nothing worse than sub shops using a cheese with a high melting point for cheesesteaks. At JM's, they use white American, and the entire sandwich gets cheese love. It doesn't matter which I order either; they're all good. Cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, buffalo chicken or my newly found favorite--chicken, bacon ranch (#26). I stop at Jersey Mikes on my way home usually between 4:00pm and 5:00 pm. There have been five times since the 1st of the year when I have stopped to order a Big Kahuna on Parmesan bread. Yesterday 4/22/22 at 4:45 pm went in to order and was told they were out of Parmesan bread. I asked the employee why and he said they were only allowed to make so much of each bread. I would think if they run out of this bread at supper time someone would say lets record how many loves we start the day out with and which breads run out first and which breads do we have left over at the end of the day. After collecting data for about a month a pattern would develop and adjustments could be made according to the data collected. They offered another type of bread and I politely said no thanks and went to Delco's . Thats five sales lost and I am sure I am not the only one. I have been in a few times not the best sandwiches, but if you are hungry they are ok. Usually quick service.

I have been here 4 times and have never found any sub that was edible. This cheese steak was the worst I had ever tried and the roast beef and provolone had less meat on it than Subway with old stale bread. $12.00 for a regular sub , fountain drink and kid size chips was a complete waste of money even if the food was good which it was far from. Firehouse subs which is right down the road is light years better and a few dollars cheaper. read more

Grossed out. Went in and purchased 3 sandwiches. The girl behind the counter didn't hear me say light mustard so she put too much on it. I asked her to removed some which she did then she smoothed out what was left with her finger(she had a glove on) she should have used a utensil she then proceeded to wipe that finger on the ledge of the trash can that is underneath the cutting board to clean the remainder off. She wrapped up the sandwich and used a wet rag to wipe off the trash can ledge then wiped the prepping area of the counter and also wiped the knife they use to cut the sandwiches. We stopped by the Dunedin, FL (Main St) for subs on Sunday, 6/19/2022. My ticket # is 01-001241-01-242430 server was "Keshanta". The service was HORRIBLE! While waiting for my Big Kahuna, I noticed a food delivery person also waiting awhile and finally calling out a name asking if that sub was ready (It was waiting on the counter). After waiting for quite a while myself, I asked what was going on and the girl who turned out to be the manager, "Felicity" is what she said her name was, said the person on the grill she screwed up our order and made a regular Big Kahuna vs. the giant we ordered and paid for. I asked the manager why she didn't come over to tell me and she said in a very snotty way "well now you know so what's the big deal?". My husband and I, along with a family of 3 sitting there eating and the person behind me in line, were all horrified at her response. Every JM's has the same subs. My favorites are the Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak and the Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak. I know it's Summer in Florida, but my palate doesn't care. There are two reasons I love this particular location. First, the meat slicer. I wanna lick it. While I'm standing in line It's always dripping with meat and cheese. I've considered asking if they can just take the succulent scraps and stick em in some bread for me, but after standing there salivating at the meat slicer with crazy eyes I don't wanna push their friendliness to the limit. I hope they aren't just throwing this stuff away! Second, there's the red-haired dude here. There is a master meat slicer at this location. When he's here on weekends there is no line backup, and everything runs as efficiently as a well oiled machine. He's friendly, remembers my name, asks me how my sandwich came out, and he's all around supercute and kickass at his job. I may never hit a different JM location again. read more

Been going in for a while now but it seems to be going downhill, reading some of other recent reviews I have to agree. The bread has been stale a couple times not horrible but not good either. Gave them 4 stars probably based on past experience hopefully they can step it up. But today the woman behind the counter pissed me off. No interest in how I wanted the sandwich as long as it was fast... "it's supposed to be fast" there wasn't anyone else in the place speed wasn't a priority. I told her I'd rather have what I want then a sandwich in 30 seconds - didn't care and walked away. Just a heads up when they aren't busy and you're ordering don't be distracted by the person on the cash register or you'll get whatever the other one wants to give you - fast! read more
