I thought that I had written a review previously since I go often (still not as much as I'd like) for the breaded fried mushrooms. They are always perfectly cooked, priced very fairly and they give a generous amount on both sizes they offer. Small and Large. This time I got some mushrooms for my lunch after going to BJs and then headed to my parents house over in Town 'N Country but figured any left over would be cold or soggy given the distance. My mother loves them too, but when got there, they were still warm enough for her (she doesn't like them as hot as I do, I like them scolding) so they do travel well. I have had their subs there before too and they are great, also full in size so the point where Ben and I normally share 1 sub between the two of us. I put my order in in drove here in less than 5 minutes when I got there my subs were made and I rolled out the door. The gentleman that waited on me was polite and engaging. Well, that's quite interesting considering I was on my lunch break so I wasn't intoxicated. I politely asked the young lady for a fresh Cuban without the sauce she said that it couldn't be done I politely asked her why and she said because they are premade I said may I speak to the manager she said I am the lead manager I said is there anybody above you? She said yes pointed to the guy who actually makes the food he did proceed to tell me that he made the Cubans yesterday morning, which was more than 24 hours ago and unfortunately, he could not make one without Sauce so I turned him and said well that's really sucks. I eat here regularly and it never disappoints. Never tried a Gyro but have had pretty much everything else. Really like the burgers and the grilled chicken. Recommended by someone to come here for lunch, my husband and I grabbed a late lunch at Seminole Subs & Gyros around 2:30 pm. We were greeted when we came in. After looking over the menu board, we ended up ordering: Chicken Philly, $7.99 prior to tax- Served cut in half, perfect for sharing for the two of us. Filling and liked the tomatoes, onions and lettuce that was in it (we were asked if we wanted everything in the sandwich when we made our order). The chicken was tender and seasoned well. There was also plenty of chicken in each bite. Very filling, even when just consuming 1/2 of the sandwich. The bread was good and appreciated that it did not fall apart. Grilled Chicken Salad, $7.99 prior to tax- I didn't realize that we ordered another chicken entree, seems to be the same chicken that was in our sandwich (but I didn't mind it since I do like eating chicken). There was a generous portion of chicken on this salad and I liked that the dressing is automatically served on the side. This sandwich was juicy and a little messy (make sure to get extra napkins). This is a great portion to share with another person. --------------------- (Total= $17.10 after tax) Food was good and portions were very filling. I probably would have just ordered the side salad with the sandwich if I had known that the salad would have been this big. Glad that I came here and would recommend this place. Open late, fresh food and a menu that has something for just about everyone? You tell me why it's taken so long for us to try this place, because I can't think of a reason. We were starving after spending the entire evening walking a nearby park and this happened to be the only place open late that also serves salads. We tried the gyro salad and the Greek salad with added gyro meat. Both were perfectly packaged, prepared fresh and included tons of fresh veggies. While the parking lot and drive thru are a little tight, the staff was incredibly friendly and quick. We just love having this option instead of trying to scrounge up something at home or settling on typical fast food. They also have an extreme amount of seafood on their menu if that's your thing. I have to say I've been here time and time again and this place never disappoints until now. I've had their burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and gyros and loved it all until this fish sandwich. I highly recommend skipping it and just doing the platter. The sandwich came with a pathetic piece of fish that didn't even fill up the bottom layer over the bread I was disappointed. Great place for fast food -- burgers, subs, gyros, etc. My favorites are their cold subs and burgers. The burgers are a lot bigger than you may expect, which is a treat. They have a drive through where you can order, it's not as fast as the chain restaurants in the area because their food is prepared with a bit more care. It's also a good place if you're craving appetizers like jalapeño poppers of fried pickles. Those are some pretty unique options for a fast food place. I believe you can also call ahead and tell the drive through you're picking it up, but I've never done that because just going through the drive through is fast enough for me. They have weekly specials that you need to ask about if you're interested in it, because they're not advertised on their drive through menu. Tuesdays always seem to be taco Tuesday -- that's the only time they have tacos on their menu as far as I can tell. Otherwise you'd need to check out their social media for the weekly specials. read more

Sucks because i loved this place until i found out they are greedy. I don't want ketchup on my fries. I like mustard on my fries and the fact that I don't have a choice and the fact that they got so greedy and started charging for sauce made them just lose a customer. Our work staff chose to try Seminole Subs today. The fast food restaurant is very clean, & the menu has many varied options. There are burgers, falafel, gyros, hot dogs, chicken, salads, & so on. The one issue I had was the price. A burger combo for example was almost $10. That was almost the cheapest combo. Most other combos came to $12 or $13. That seems like a lot for adding fries & a drink. The burger I received was decent. The fries were good as well. So the food quality was fine. But most other fast food establishments have the same combos for close to half the price. If sales are good, then there's no need to drop their prices. But if they're wondering where the crowds are, they may wish to lower their prices by several dollars. read more

I have loved Seminole subs for years. I have been a regular at several locations for years. Yesterday, I visited the Seminole subs on Main st Dunedin/Clearwater. Because of COVID 19, I used the drive through. No waiting, no customers. When I arrived at the window, the young girl was fixing her hair. No gloves no mask and no handwashing before opening the window to take my money. I could see into the kitchen from my vantage point, an unmasked ungloved gentleman was preparing my order. Ummmm....I think not. I just drove away. Even without a mask, these other behaviors are unacceptable in normal times.
