NEVER ORDER VIA APP ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! I submitted my order for a regular Original Italian and regular Big Kahuna on the app, and it indicated my order would be ready in 12 minutes. I get there and there are about 5 customers waiting for the orders. Only two guys are behind the counter, frantically moving about without getting much done. One guy gets his Big Kahuna order wrong, as he ordered a regular, and they made a giant. I yell out that I ordered a Giant, but the guy says he'll make mine shortly, and gives the guy half of the giant. I patiently wait and a couple of walk-ins get their order taken and filled, and this guy still hasn't started the grill for my Big Kahuna. I see what I assume is my Original Italian, because I asked for jalapeños on the side, and a container of jalapeños were sitting next to it. 25 minutes pass by until the one guy finally gets going on the grill. I ask the other guy who was making cold sandwiches if the one sandwich and jalapeños was my order and he confirms, then takes a cold sandwich that I saw him just completed and adds it to the other sandwich. WAIT A MINUTE! I ask the guy, incredibly, the sandwich that was sitting here for over half an hour was my hot sandwich and I was just waiting for my cold sandwich??? Why didn't you make my cold sandwich sooner? Now my hot sandwich is ice cold, while you attended to three walk-ins. They could only say, " That's what the owner told us to do, take the walk-in orders first" By the way, where the hell IS the owner or a manager? The poor guys had no answers. I've been here a couple of times, and each time the subs have been great with quality ingredients. This time, I tried their new Smoky Southwestern Cheese Steak - absolutely delicious! When you enter, you are immediately greeted before you reach the ordering counter. Service is efficient and quick. They have brown paper bags with handles to carryout your food. Prices are reasonable, but I wouldn't be able to come everyday. For the subs, I think it's worth it once in a while. read more

This location is a solid Jersey Mike's in Edgewater! I love this chain restaurant. I think their sandwiches are higher quality than most of their competitors that have similar offerings. The bread is always delicious, soft on the inside with slightly crusty edges. You can tell the meat they use is freshly sliced and hasn't been sitting out all day. My go to sandwich is the Original Italian Mike's Way. Loaded with Italian meats and packed with flavor, this sub will always be one of my favorites! For this specific location, I usually order online from the website and pick up. I haven't had any issues, the orders have been correct and ready on time. This is a wonderful addition to Edgewater. I placed my order online, and ran in and quickly picked it up. I ordered a giant #13 Italian, it was delicious. The sandwich was big enough for 2-3 people. I'll definitely be trying more items when I get a chance. The parking at this shopping center has always been challenging, but there are a few spots in front that honor 15 minute parking for Jersey Mike's pick up orders. read more

Jersey Mikes is usually underrated since it kind of reminds me of an upscale Subway. The thing is it is much better than Subway and they actually make a good sandwich here. I didn't realize they also do "in a tub" style where you can have a sandwich in a to go container without bread. It is a clean store and they make a good sandwich just wish all ingredients were on there. They forgot ingredients on both sandwiched we got! All good it was still solid. While I love the subs at Jersey Mike's I feel compelled to write a negative review after my most recent experience at this Edgewater location on Monday July 5th. I went in to order a sub and the young gentlemen behind the counter, (specifically two of them), felt it was a better idea to horse around and make me the butt of their jokes. They refused to take my order seriously (not that I had a special order, I ordered straight from the menu) by playing around and saying I would be charged fictitious "extra costs", they further made me feel super uncomfortable as they were making me the butt of their jokes amongst each other. It was sooo sooo very apparent that they were speaking ill of me or plotting something while assembling my sub as one gentleman whispered to his co-worker, while literally pointing, staring and then laughing at me, before erupting into an even louder laughter. How am I supposed to feel comfortable with something coming out of that kitchen when the young employees engage in this type of behavior? All I wanted was something to eat, and I left the shop feeling as if I was a) insulted, or b) they were laughing because god forbid, they did something to my food that I'm about to consume. Either way I did not feel comfortable leaving the place at all. I understand they are super young employees, but they need to be taught proper customer service, and respect when dealing with food that people are going to consume. An innocent joke or god forbid a prank may not seem innocent or harmless to someone on the receiving end. Especially if that person is trying to spend money to buy YOUR FOOD. read more

I am so happy that jersey mikes came to Edgewater. While it's not a terribly long drive to Fort Lee, River Road can be a little congested and it's nice to have this location in town. I ordered a Big Kahuna cheese steak from the app , got some shopping done at Harmon next door and picked up so quickly. Very friendly, great sandwich and wonderful service. Not only did the younger male (5'10' or so, longish black hair, brown eyes) preparer act incredibly disrespectful, he mocked me and laughed at me several times as He was making my order. He didn't even cut my sandwich. The younger female cashier made a disgruntled face at me when I asked to order... and trust me I reallllly held back with what I could have said to these young fools. To upper management-- these children do not know the meaning of customer service or even basic civility and will drive your customers away. About 5 minutes pass and she asks if I'm going to order? Did I have a timer on me? Shouldn't she have advised she's ready to take the order? The food is always good but there was one instance when I ordered ahead of time(20 minutes before) and it took longer than 30 mins to make, when in fact the store was not busy at all. Customer service is inconsistent and most of the time it's uncomfortable talking to them. I don't even use yelp but downloaded it just so that I can leave this review. This is the second time I went. First time I went with my family of 5 and we were going to sit down to eat at 8pm and the shop closes at 9 and we were told we had to leave because they were going to close. We felt so unwelcome. He condescendingly replied that he could not replace the 4 slices of bacon with ham. Then he agreed to give me one slice of ham.
