Used the have a great teriyaki chicken sub. After I ate my chicken teriyaki it was a sub with chicken and salt on it (I think they are using soy sauce). I asked the workers what the deal is and I was told they got a different sauce because they ran out of the good sauce. first and only time trying jersey mike's. came in about 20 minutes before close, when they were already cleaning up; decided to try and get a carryout order in anyway. i ordered the famous philly and my buddy got the chipotle cheesesteak (which weren't untasty) but we both ended up with food poisoning by the end of the night. needless to say i will not be returning to any of these franchises. read more

Went today for a kids meal for my daughter whom I have to pick up from babysitting, I asked for a kids meal, simple turkey breast, when I approach the register, I told her that it was a kids meal and she game me a nasty look, then proceeds to ask her coworker if it was true! Really???? While am getting a drink for my daughter she started lecturing the the other employees about the ordeal, she should of waited for me to leave, extremely rude, if you don't want to sell kids meals to go the write a sign and put it up! LOVE Jersey Mike's! I grew up in Jerz and it's true, they have by far the best fast food subs you'll ever find. This location has really nice, friendly, and fast service and delicious food! My only complaint is they serve Pepsi rather than Coke... Nobody wants that. read more

Since working at my new job I have been here 3X's. That's why I waited to write my review. The first time I ordered I got what I always get a Italian done mikes way and it was dry and not that good. The next two times I had to tell them to add extra oil and vinegar. I have been to other mikes and the sandwiches are good. Every time I come into this location they are training someone new so maybe that has something to do with it. Since then I have met the owner who is very hospitable. Solid, consistent, quality sandwiches. I discovered jersey mikes about a year ago and this has become one of my favorite places to get a sandwich in the area. My wife is from philly and likes their cheesesteaks, which says a lot. She always gets them without lettuce, tomato, or mayo as that's not a real Philly cheesesteak according to her. We both like the big kahuna cheesesteak. I also enjoy the original Italian, mikes way with a little hot pepper relish. Their other sandwiches are all excellent. Nice alternative to jimmy johns and potbelly although I enjoy those as well. The owner manages this location very well. You can tell who she is if she's there. If you get it Mike's way, it might not be a good idea to get it to go as they use oil and vinegar, which can make the sandwich soggy if not eaten quickly. Same goes for the cheesesteak. Most of the sandwiches are best eaten immediately. read more

I've been about 6-7 times at every time I have to reiterate my order, or they get my order confused with someone else's. Last trip I had to tell them what type of bread 3 separate times! Terrible experience. Woman making my sandwich whispering under her breath but in ear shot she shouldn't have to make one sandwich at a time it's against policy. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub chain as they use real roast beef and slice their meats fresh and this location is a solid franchise. Compared to other locations, the staff seems more mature though not always as outgoing, but I'm here for the sandwiches not the experience. The only detraction from this location is the seating. There aren't that many tables inside and last time I went there was actually no tables available at first. Luckily someone left as we deliberated whether to wait or leave, but since all the staff were focused on making sandwiches and checking people out, there was no one to clean the table before we sat down. read more

My experience at this Jersey Mikes in Fairfax was good. I had an Italian Sub, and it was pretty darn good. They often have coupons for free chips and drink. I had received one by e-mail, however did not have with me. They should link coupons to your rewards card so you don't have to remember to carry it with you. read more

I was visiting a friend in Fairfax and was looking to grab a quick bit to eat on my way back up to Baltimore. I have heard good things about Jersey Mike's but have never been to one. I was extremely pleased with the quality of my Italian sub. It was made to perfection. Could not have asked for anything more. I was also surprised by the customer service. The employees moved at a diligent pace but still treated you like a valued customer. Overall I was very delighted with my first trip to Jersey Mike's. The staff didn't seem to have much personality and the sandwich was made totally incorrectly - the person combined multiple sandwiches to make a zombie sandwich that I didn't order (but didn't realize until too late). The best run Jersey Mike's I've ever been in. Clean, efficient and the food was 2nd to none. Management is on top of things here. The staff are cordial, quick and courteous. Steak and cheese is the best this side of Philadelphia. Always my go to place when I eat out for lunch. They also have incredible salads. If you want a real authentic sub, this is the place to go. The only thing I don't get is their marketing strategy though. "Be A Sub Above"? I don't want to be a Sub, I want to eat a Sub. They need to change this. I have been to a lot of the jersey mikes in northern VA and Maryland, this one is by far the best. I love the Number 15(Meatball) and the Number 9.
