Second time I've gone here ordered a sandwich online and first time it wasn't ready at the time I requested so had to stand there and wait while they made it. Second time they give white bread instead of the Rosemary garlic bread and they give me someone else's miniature sandwich which I didn't order or like what was on it . Hmm. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. This afternoon my boyfriend and I were in the area, and we were actually in the mood for a sub/sandwich. We were greeted right away. We took some time to look over the menu. The girl behind the counter was patient with us. I ordered a #7. It consists of turkey and provolone. I got it "Mike's Way." Mike's Way are the fixin's. Vinegar, olive oil, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I got it that way, minus onions. When the sandwich maker was putting my fixin's on, he asked me if I wanted anything else. I saw pickles was an option. So I added pickles! He added mayo by mistake. When I said I didn't want any mayo, he just scrapped it off instead of offering me a new piece of bread. I don't understand this. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. My boyfriend created his own sub. Roast beef, bacon, Swiss, mayo and lettuce. He enjoyed his sub. You're able to see them slice your meat right in front of you. It's not like subway at all, which is a plus. I wish there was more condiments for the subs like cucumber and avocado. The subs come in three sizes; mini, regular, and giant. When we placed our orders we were only offered the regular or giant size. For two subs (regular size) +tax it came to $17.36! I feel that is overpriced for only two subs and nothing to drink. Probably more like 3.5 stars but the often disjointed service led me to round down this time. Located in a small strip across from airport plaza on 110 this Jersey Mikes outpost serves up the same fare you find at their other spots, made to order subs of all varieties both hot and cold. A huge upgrade over anything Subway has ever served, but at the same time also in my estimation a peg below what you'd get at a good neighborhood deli. Kudos for the slices to order cold cuts and very fresh & tasty tuna - just avoid the turkey, more like the pressed & formed fake stuff than a fresh roasted turkey breast which to me is no bueno. The roast beef however is superb. As I mentioned the service isn't always the greatest. On my most recent visit the kid making my sub disappeared halfway through to do god knows what leaving the young lady in charge of the toppings part grasping at straws to figure out what I was having and where he left off. But it's fast food and they've never once been rude so I can't complain that much. A little pricey in my estimation for a sandwich keep your eyes peeled for coupons and you'll leave with a very filling sandwich. read more

Place was great. It reminded me of the subs back in Baltimore (which are also great). Maryland also calls submarine sandwiches "subs" instead of heroes which is a New York thing that I've never really gotten used to saying. I prefer calling them subs. I got there and the place was busy and it took me a min to order and get the food but everyone was nice but strictly business. Workers were in 'work-mode' to get as many orders out as possible. A small mistake was made where a guy behind me got my sandwich and I had to wait an additional few mins but I used their restroom (which was nice and clean with no odor) and when I came back the food was ready so no harm no foul. I would absolutely recommend this place and I plan on going back. Just not too much because the kind of stuff i order from there is unhealthy. But delicious. I got the cheesesteak and it was no joke. The original Italian was pretty good. Big. The sandwich comes in 3 sizes, Mini, Regular, and Mike's Way which was the largest. I ordered regular and it was plenty. I recently tried Jersey Mike's for the first time and really enjoyed it. I ordered a regular California Chicken Cheesesteak sub, and it was huge! Like, not only was the bread long, but the sandwich itself was pretty loaded. I don't fully remember what bread I got (rosemary?), I do remember how soft it was! I normally shy away from subs because I dont like how rough the bread can be. This bread was soft! The chicken was really good, too, and I liked that the sandwich came with lettuce and tomato. They began to have barely any meat or cheese. I decided to give it one last chance at this Farmingdale location, instead of Lindenhurst or Massapequa. I ordered a #44 Giant Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak. I had scraps of meat, I literally ate a loaf of bread with some cheese. Not gonna lie...I don't see the hype with this place. Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was good...but that's all, just good. I first tried Jersey Mikes on a road trip to Michegan after 12 hrs of driving the first place we stopped at when we finally arrived was a strip mall with a Jersey Mikes . i had to try the Philly Cheesesteak very close to an original . So I was excited to see one open in Farmingdale. The place was clean and the girl slicing all the cold cuts was very friendly and she kept every customer informed about their order at the same time. I of course got The Philly cheesesteak sub minus the peppers it was just like the one I had in the Michigan location . Very Good and stuffed ! I noticed alot of people were getting other subs as well the were assembled with care and piled high with the final touch of Mikes Way ( lettuce, Tomato, herbs and oil and vinegar with mayo) . I guess I have to give a 1 star because zero is not an option. Last visit I stood in line for 30 minutes because online orders were made while I stood in front of the counter. I was told to download the online app. I downloaded it for a 12:37 PM pick up. I arrived at 12:47 PM and it was not ready. I watched 50 people get sandwiches in line without mine being made. Finally I got in the line to get my ONLINE order made as a new walk in. Received my sandwich at 1:30 PM. Had to cancel a meeting at work for a sub sandwich to made over an hour time span. If you have any general life requirements or simply don't want to waste an hour of your time then do not go to this location. While the food was great as usual, I was appalled at the fact that the 2 people making the food were not wearing their masks properly. The ladies packing up the food and doing the register were but the people leaning over the food were not. One of them (who I believe was the manager) had their nose exposed. This is NOT by any means a gourmet sandwich shop, BUT if you compare it to Subway, then you're going to think it is. One thing I like is they freshly slice their cold cuts when you order your sandwich, which I think makes a pretty big difference. Same idea as Subway when it comes to your add-ons, but they offer a cherry pepper relish that is really tasty and adds just the right amount of "zing" to any sandwich. Their bread is good as well. So if you find yourself in a neighborhood that you're not that familiar with and you see a Jersey Mike's, you can feel good about it being a safe bet. I cannot believe I am giving a chain restaurant/sandwich shop a 5 star review. Honestly, cant believe it. Especially being in NY for 33 years I have always been surrounded by great Delia but this was awesome, so much that I had to go 2 days in a row. I had the original Italian, Miley's way (which is lettuce, tomato, onion, olive oil, spices and vinegar) plus I added sweet peppers on their rosemary cheese bread and it was awesome. All cold cuts are fresh and sliced right in front of you then placed on the bread. Excellent! I will certainly be going back eventually and enjoying a different sandwich. The only qualm I have is that it was a little pricey. I got the "regular" which is about half of a hero and it came to almost $12 for a sandwich with a small bag of chips and a fountain soda but you get what you pay for and in this case it was worth the money! read more

Terrible experience. Male employees are totally non compliant with Covid precautions. Manager had mask hanging below his nose. Male employee making sandwiches had his mask hanging under his chin. When I complained about the lack of precaution, the male employee told me I should buy him a new mask if I didn't like his. I walked out and left the half-made sandwiches behind I won't ever be walking back in. I suggest you don't either.
