Since then, I've returned multiple times and, sadly, have watched its steady decline from its peak. We walked in today and were taken aback by what was once a grandiose sub sandwich shop that could compete with other historic sandwich shops in the area and in Chicago. Now it stands as a dilapidated, diminished piece of history. As I looked around, about to order the Unbeatable sub sandwich, I heard a voice in my head and decided to leave the establishment.

Service was top and one of the owners made rounds to check on customers. I may stop by again at some point in the future. It would certainly be a welcomed break when I am taking respite from cooking at home.
