I've been coming to this location by me ever since they first opened. I always get the Jersey Shore's Favorite, Mike's Way (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices, oil & vinegar) or the Mike's Chicken Philly, those are my 2 favorites. My husband, Mike likes their turkey sub and Mike's Famous Philly. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their subs. They are however a little overpriced & the regular size sub (7") seems small but their usually packed with plenty of meat and my subs were always fresh and delicious. I recommend ordering through their app for in-store pickup to avoid the wait. The staff here are very friendly and the service is pretty quick. Skip Subway and get Jersey Mike's instead! read more

This is my second time trying Jersey Mike's, I don't like their sandwiches. I had the ham and cheese with various fixin, the sandwich had no taste, I think the meat is subpar. This isn't my first rodeo of writing a review for something I initially thought was overhyped. It happens a lot in the realm of restaurants and the like. What am I talking about? Well, years ago I tried out Jersey Mike's at one of the first LI locations in Commack and was met with rather "meh" results. Just a few days ago I finally gave them a second try at the newish New Hyde Park location and instead, I had a more "Impressive. Most impressive." response to the experience. Let's get detailed. For starters, we have to remember we now live in Corona-land and so I had zero interaction with staff and ordering. Instead, I'll give a nod and shoutout to Jersey Mike's app as it worked smoothly and I was able to order two regular-sized sandwiches with ease. Even adding a topping (cherry pepper relish) was honored and correct upon later consumption of the sandwich. But before we get there, I'll also positively state that once the order was placed, it said it would take 15 minutes to be ready and lo and behold, when I arrived it was waiting for me on a designated table, bag sealed up, with my name on it. Payment went through the app as well (Apple Pay FTW!) and so my time in the store was around a minute in length, just to snap a couple of pictures. A seamless process in and out which is something you might desire in these current times we're living in. Once back home, it was time to chow down. I went for The Super Sub which is concocted with provolone, ham, proscuittini, and cappacuolo. The meats tasted fresh and flavorful amidst the sandwich (compared to another fast food Sub shop and worked well together before getting the finishing touches of "Mike's Way." Not sure what that means? It's a standard JM combo of lettuce, tomato, onion, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt. Not all those ingredients might work for some, but I love the way they come together (especially the tang from the red wine vinegar). Don't forget the addition of the cherry pepper relish that added another flavor factor. This sandwich truly hit the spot while my parental units enjoyed a Philly cheesesteak (I snagged a little bite from it which had that meaty taste you want). So what justifies even going to Jersey Mike's when I could grab a quality sub at a local deli? Honestly, you might not find a reason, but I'm gonna throw a few loose ones out there that truly makes it a possibility for me in the future. Reason 1: That dang Mike's Way topping combo. Yes, I know. It's nothing actually special ingredient-wise, but whatever red wine vinegar and olive oil they're using just hits the spot with their cold cuts. That leads into the next reason... Reason 2: They slice their own meat. Yeah, not that exciting again because other delis do this, but do other delis and sandwich shops have their own cold cuts? It shows a level of quality for their own company and creations so they deserve some props there. Reason 3: I don't live in Philly so getting a decent cheesesteak isn't always an option, at least not in NHP, so having a Jersey Mike's close to mi casa gives me an opportunity that I can't deny as a positive for visiting. Overall, Jersey Mike's of NHP isn't bad by any means and I suppose after my first overhyped experience when my expectations were extremely low that perhaps this visit to my local JM location might have propped up this trip a little more than it should have been. Only time will tell because I do see some reasons (mentioned above) along with seamless purchasing in this current world we live in that makes Jersey Mike's a quality spot for a sub. Hefty subs w your choice of meats. You are asked if you want Mikes Way? Not reasure what that is except it seems to be a combo of onions, tomatoes, lett, oil/vinegar. I added jalapeños and sweet peppers. Good sandwich, but no biggie i kinda like Subways better. But meats fresher here and way more generous. read more

STORE MANAGER!!!! 9-4-21 @ 6:07PM So, I didn't feel like cooking so I decided to order from online. While placing my order I noticed that I had enough points for a free sub so I used the points from my Rewards for one of the subs. We get home and I open the FREE sub and the bread is stale and hard! I couldn't believe it. This is so upsetting to me because I loved Jersey Mike's but I fault the Management because the staff are probably following the instructions provided to them. Furthermore, I'm sure the store is not short on bread. I'm really pissed off!! So I assume their FREE Rewards subs are ALL made from STALE BREAD. :-( read more

It's their first week. Food is great as always. They just need time to speed up. Great location. Lots of parking. Easily handicap accessible. Nice friendly staff. We arrived at 11:30 and the line was short. They were teaching new employees. By the time we left 15 minutes later, there was a line to the door and they put the A team in. Out of all the food options in this shopping center alone not including Jericho this was a poor choice. I legit was the only person ordering and they still messed up my sandwich. I heard them repeat wheat bread out loud and I still got white bread. Something so small made this first experience at this location my last one. Love this location. So happy it finally opened!! The food is delicious and fresh like all the Jersey Mikes locations. Loved my number 9 club supreme. It was delicious and the medium is so filling. You'd have to be really hungry to get a large. My daughter loves the food here too. Great since she can be a little picky. What started at out as a 2.5 star experience ended up being a 5 star one. I placed a large order today online through their website for 2 large subs (in Jersey Mike's lingo "giant"), 3 medium subs ("regular"), 2 kids meals & (2) three packs of cookies. It was supposed to be ready at 12:52pm, it was not. When I walked in they were pretty busy with people waiting on online orders as well as some people ordering in store. When I got my order it was 10 minutes late which was no big deal. Took it home to find out they didn't include my sandwich in the sealed to go bag they gave me. I immediately call the store and an employee takes the order & says they will make it for me & it will be ready for me in 15-20 minutes. I call again when I realize I had paid $2 extra for extra meat but forgot to tell the person I spoke with before. The person I spoke with said "No problem" Finally get to store just expecting to get the sandwich I had paid for but the manager (I think) gives me two free sandwich coupons. This really redeemed their experience, not because I got something for free because I felt like they were saying "We value you as a customer. We want you to come back and earn your business." Which is exactly what they did. Sandwiches were great. We got the roast beef, BLT, Big Kahuna & an Italian type one plus regular ham & Turkey for kids meals. They were all delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. Rosemary bread was definitely better than wheat beat. However, if you can avoid ordering during lunch hours it would probably be best. read more

My husband and I decided to mobile order during our food run. I had been craving a sub the last couple days but did not want Subway. I'm so happy I actually tried this place out. The sandwich was huge, on fresh bread, and the the fillings were fresh as well. No wilted lettuce here! Pick up was easy and organized alphabetically on the counter. I walked into the store at 8:40 pm. All the lights were on and the open sign was on. I was greeted with "Sorry ma'm we are closed." WHAT? I asked if I could still pick up my order that I had paid for through the app!!! I was already in the store. Oh, yes, they had that ready. However, there were 4 employees standing around, food was out and ready to be served, shop was not cleaned up for the night. Another customer walked in right behind me. After letting him look at the menu, they told him the store was closed. He turned around and left. Store hours show they are open. Until 9pm. Light is now out at 8:50. So disappointing!! Please stay open or update your hours! This is frustrating and angers hungry people who just want to buy a sandwich during the posted hours of operation. read more

I was hungry after a round of golf and I came to jersey mikes because I was hungry, never been there before so it was a shot in the dark for me. I got the Philly cheesesteak (recommended) and we sat down to eat it. The tables were so dirty that I would be more sanitary sitting on the floor. Besides that, food was great, I just don't know why they have 8 peoples behind the counter and not one of them could clean the tables, NOR take out the trash. I've only been going to Jersey Mike's for about two years now, but it has quickly become one of my go-to food destinations for a quick lunch or dinner. With any chain restaurant, what you want is consistency, and I've found some Jersey Mike's locations to be a little better than others. This location is the best one I've been to so far. It's always well lit and clean, lots of staff, and they get orders out at a pace that can only be referred to as impressive. The buns are always super soft & fresh here too, which I find isn't always the case at some other locations. Minor thing, but it helps make this location a winner. read more
