Came back to my favorite Shake Shack! I wound up ordering the Smokey BBQ shack burger with fries and the strawberry lemonade. The fries and the lemonade were great. The burger would have been up there too but they had a lack of BBQ sauce and the onion straws. What really impressed me today was Christopher! He is the guy who matches the trays and bags with their rightful owners. He has so much energy and very positive! That made my day here today! I walked out like my feet were floating on the sidewalk. I usually go to the location in Manhattan or Westbury. For some reason I did not know about this location which is much closer to me. Been here about 3x already in the last 1.5 months I love the beef burgers and the specialty shakes! They need to bring the mango pomelo shake from shake shack Asia to the u.s. They are now running a BOGO specials for Halloween and I had a chance to try their chicken burger for the first time. It was EXCELLENT...and way better than c***-A-f**.. attached is pic of the onion ring. Kinda pricey at 5.5 but it was good. this location doesn't get crazy backed up. I saw an add about the new Baby Back Rib Sandwich, it looked juicy and covered in BBQ sauce, so I told my friend i'll go and pick up two orders to go for us in New Hyde park shake. I ordered two Baby Back Rib sandwiches, I got an order of french fries with the first order and onion rings with the second, we were going to share anyway. Five minutes later i got to her place opened the bag, First the French fries were bites of fries that looked like scraps, and the onion ring order was a total 2 good size onion rings and 4 tiny onion rings I could put on my finger like a ring, we obviously couldn't believe it. But wait it got worse the Two Baby Back Rib sandwiches were two dried out pieces of ribs patties that must have been put into a fryer to heat up ( Big Mistake ) both sandwiches had plenty of pickles, coleslaw and BBQ sauce thrown onto the meat that did not resemble the the two pic from their App, and they didn't taste like Baby Back Ribs either. The way they do it is th bun is not cut all the way though, it's all stuffed in like a taco and tucked into paper, so if you take it out of he paper pocket like i did at home, it all spills out and falls apart. The place is very spacious and clean. They have a kiosk where you can order from however there is still a teller if you prefer ordering from a person. The food is tasty as always. My only reason for giving 4 stars is that the person who brought our order to us had a little attitude when I asked for a straw. I did not see it on the tray and he goes "you didn't see it?".... Stopped into Shake Shack in NHP at Lake Success Shopping Center for lunch.There is plenty of seating and a large parking area outside in the shopping center. I ordered a double Shack Burger. I had been wanting a shake, so I ordered a Malt shake that list as smores flavor. It was vanilla and had malt added as requested. It notes on the board that they make these drinks with fresh ingredients daily. It tasted good but it had no graham crakers, just nuts and chocolate chips on top. The burger(s) were on a fresh roll and wrapped in an open paper. Originally, I had asked to sit-in and decided to take-out. They just placed the burger with no further wrapping in a bag with a straw and handed me the shake to go. It surficed. I am not sure if that is the way they have orders to go. I was able to see a pickup area and the people cooking the food in an open kitchen along with people on line ordering or waiting for their orders. (see pix) There is a QR on the back of the receipt. A friendly employee greeted me with enthusiasm and had my order ready in hand. He also gave me a survey and asked me to complete it if I had time. It was a pleasant interaction. It made me think of all the times I've been here, it's always been pretty pleasant. The seating area is very tidy, lots of bench seating available. You can definitely come here with the family. Very tidy condiment section as well with water cups and dispenser, ketchup, everything you need. This shake shack is located in a busy shopping center, big parking lot but definitely has a lot of moving cars within the center. I'm usually able to find parking without an issue. I love your classic shack burger and fries. Shake shack fries are definitely my top 3 type of fries. Perfect texture and perfect crisp. Goes great with a side of shack sauce (just ask for some). She said ok I will ask them can they make the cheese burgers well done. The management should be fired this place is for the dogs.not only do the workers not listen to what the costumer wants it is a safety hazard serving half cooked food .The staff is the worst, and the cooks shouldn't be working there . I like lake success but the shake shack sucks. I done with there restaurant over there. Who ever hired these folks over there should be let go as well. Came to try their new truffle sauce burger. Definitely looks different from the picture, but still tasty. The sauce wasn't purée on top but you can taste it when in your bites. Crinkle fries and cheese fries were a must for my kids. Shake Stack ( beef and deep fried mushroom) was my classic favorite. Also tried the chicken stack burger which was ok. I will stick with the beef. One disappointment was the chicken nugget pieces. Batter was already falling off before we touched it. Portion was small with some pieces are little. We ordered 10 pieces. In my opinion, Shake Shack has some of the best burgers out there. The Shack Burger and Shack Stack are awesome! The Shack Stack features a large portabella mushroom fried with a crispy outer shell and loaded with melted cheese on a standard burger patty. The Shack Burger is your typical cheeseburger with a Shake Shack twist. The patties are made with some of the highest quality beef I ever tasted in a burger. Shake Shack is god tier for fast food. Basically every food item on their menu is flawless. Except maybe the dog treat section. I have no idea why that's there. Humans don't eat kibbles, right..? The food is incredibly consistent and is just as delicious as every other Shake Shack. To differentiate this location from the others, there is a 99% chance you will find parking while dining at this location. The line is like, 5 people max. The exit to the strip mall is also right next to the building, so you can peel off quickly without having to deal with pedestrians, bumps, and endless stop signs. My favorite is the Smoke Shack because the cherry peppers are such a sharp contrast to the beef patty which heightens both flavors. The cherry peppers are worth the extra 1.5 IMO. Their new ShackMeister burger is tasty, but I'm not convinced the shallots are worth the extra dollar premium. Their fries aren't my preference, but they're the best crinkle cut fries I've had because they're always crispy with an excellent crunch:potato ratio. read more
