I went opening day and waited in line for almost 20 minuets. There was a head manager walking in the line taking people's orders for hot subs to get them ready faster- which i thought was a smart technique however it did not speed up the line at all. I looked at there Pepsi Display bottle cooler and it was completely empty even though there was more than 10+ employees on. My sub was good other then that i ordered extra mayo and it didn't taste like there was any on at all, and not to mention there was a ton of lettuce, and i did not order this sub Mike's Way with the red vinegar oil and seasonings but i could still taste it on my sub because the cutting board was dripping in red vinegar from the previous subs. The food isn't necessarily the reason why i give this Jersey Mikes 2 stars though, it's mostly the pricing. The Subs range anywhere from 5" to 7" to 15" and i was splitting the sub with someone so i got a 15" sub. when i was told my total was $18.06 for just one sub i thought okay that's a little pricey but then when i went to go swipe my card they immediately ask you if you want to add a 20% tip to your total... why would i want to pay $18 for a sub with barley any mayonnaise and a ton of lettuce with reminisce of dressing on the bread from the last sub?? and then give you a 20% tip on top of that..? no thank you. read more

I'm not really sure why the low scores here. I love the place but that may be because I only order 1 sub: The Original, Mikes way. This is a Sub that brings me back 20 (or, ulp, longer?) years to Subs we used to get from the Tri-City original Mikes Subs, oil and vinegar soaked white bread coated with salt, pepper and Mikes magic. You had to eat them within a half hour of purchase or risk staining what ever the bag was sitting on (gawd bless those vinyl seats in our Fury). Jersey Mikes has better bread and keeps the oil and vinegar baptism within reason (they can stand in the bag for an hour before soaking through) but pretty much the same. The meat is cut to order, not laid out like roof shingles warming in the sun like some other sub shops, so there is a relationship of arm strength to speed when it comes to lunch time rushes. Look for a shop with a staff of burly folk. In my experience the staff is above the grade of other fast food staff and occasionally even friendly. I don't expect recommendations, a wine list or anything above what is written on the sign and that is what I get. I will continue to visit Jersey Mike's and I'm thankful I don't have to go to "Jersey" to do so. read more

My coworkers and I decided to order from Jersey Mike's for lunch today. The order was pre-ordered online and supposed to be ready for pick-up for lunchtime. Not only was the order not even started when my coworkers when to pick it up, but the manager was rude on top of it. When we finally got our lunch they were nothing special. Maybe one order out of 6 was correct. Subs were missing dressings, bacon, and the Reuben's had no cheese. We will not be ordering from Jersey Mike's again. Ted and his crew at Jersey Mike's provided horrible service today. After placing an order for 4 subs I arrived to only having 2 completed. As the cashier was trying to help figure out the order, Ted left his post to come and tell me I needed to get in line behind the customers. I begrudgingly do so, (why am I Inconvenienced when they messed up)? Ted then asks what I wanted. I replied "I don't know? You told me to get in line and I don't know what you've already made." He then wrote down the wrong order and made me subs that I didn't ask for (which I paid for anyway) and then the cashiers proceeded to say that he had already given me the first two subs. The whole experiences from Ted was unacceptable! He was working feverishly to complete orders but at the expense of customers. read more

Great staff and I love their gluten free subs. They do very good job cleaning things and preparing my suv.

Food was very good but service was even better. Dante was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back in the future.

been here about 6 times now and each and every time I find myself saying why didn,t you go to Deli and Brew or Pellagrino's. Well,we came,ordered a turkey w provolone reg and a Mini Chicken Bacon Ranch.Associate pipes up we don,t do mini's on hot sandwiches.Wife thinks a few seconds and then reqts a roast beef w provolone mini.Associate pipes up,sorry Mam,were out of Roast Beef.She eventually winds up settling on a Ham and cheese mini.I wanted to cancel order and leave,but we stuk it out.$24.28 later we were still hungry.Turkey is tasteless. read more

Ate here with husband yesterday evening. The place was packed, however employees still made time to circulate through crowd greeting us and explaining how to order efficiently, how "Mike's Way" works (a quick way to get their version of the works- lettuce tomato onion, red wine vinegar, olive oil, seasoning), and answering questions. Also, behind the counter the employees worked like a finely tuned machine, and prep & delivery of orders were quite fast considering the volume. This business just opened and was working really well. The people were very friendly. We ordered cheesesteaks which were pretty good. It's been a while since I have eaten cheesesteak in Philly, so my baseline is a distant memory, but these sandwiches didn't disappoint. The bread is good too. This restaurant doesn't offer you the range of ingredients that you'll find at a Subway chain but what they do offer is really fresh (deli meats are shaved at time of order, not precut). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the menu could be clearer (measurements of subs are no where in sight, only portion size - like "feeds 1" rather than "4 inches", and the cheesesteak comes with American but that's not listed in the description even though other sandwiches do list the type of cheese and the only cheese visible or listed in a description is Swiss or provolone so how are you to know what cheese is available?). read more

Portions were slender. Recommend a #9. The only reason we came was because we had a coupon for buy 2 get 1 free. Chicken park was horrible- there were only 2 pieces of chicken on it. The #43 was okay- not a fan of the cheese. Eat it right away or it will get soggy. read more

Not impressed. Cost $35 dollars for 3 subs and my sub had a hair in it. When I complained the manager said "Oh sorry, next time you are in ask for me I'll give you a free sub" .... I then told him I probably wasn't coming back bc this is unacceptable...he then said " do you want a new sub " he was not going to refund my money. I will not be going back ... waste of $35. read more

My wife and I went back a second time for a #9 regular and it was a good as the first time. Far better than Subway. However, this time the service was slow. There were 4 very nice, polite people behind the counter, but it seem to be organized confusion. read more

First time I been in a jersey mike in 34 years ago on brick nj and must tell you they are still just as good if not better I left nj 16 years ago finally I found a great sub like I grow up with well worth it to stop all fresh the roll like no other in the albany area in been trying to find this since I been here can't wait till I go back that way so I get another number 7 grrat read more

I went to Jersey Mikes on Friday, June 23rd, they were out of roast beef. OK that could happen, but shouldn't!! There was a lot of people waiting, and mass confusion. I left, but came back to get a Philly Cheesesteak. I watched the man make it, but didn't see any peppers or onions. They got some orders mixed up, and had a customer bring her sandwiches back in, only to find out, her order was right. When he handed me my sandwich, I asked if there was peppers and onions on it, he said do you want me to brown some onions?? It cost me $14.74, and when I got home, there was no peppers, and I had a couple of onions, he gave me, to put on my sandwich. Also over cooked the beef. Bad disappointment, compaired to my other visits. Also, it seems like they are using less meat, than when they first opened. It will be awhile before I visit again!! I don't mind the price, because at first, it was worth it, not now. read more

Went there yesterday excited that the location just opened and was disappointed by how unsanitary it was for anyone who is a vegetarian or strictly eats kosher, like I do. I went in to get a veggie sub & did ask for swiss cheese. First of all, the person who cuts the meat uses the same gloves to grab the bread and cut it, then puts it down on the counter without any wax paper, right under the slicer that's dropped miscellaneous pieces of meat crumbs.. When I asked for cheese, the person running the slicer also grabbed the block of cheese with yet still the same meat drenched gloves and ran it through the meat slicer. I wanted to puke, and the worst was when they slid the sub down after I asked to have it Mike's way and the next person had lettuce on the counter that slipped off previously made subs and they put it back in the lettuce container to later draw from and put on my sub. The whole experience was so unsanitary and no respect to those who don't eat meat. read more
