I ended up here after a walk during lunch. I figured I would give it another try. They do have some bread choices now so I chose a regular sized turkey with Swiss cheese. I did not get any of the fixings, which are still extremely limited. Still the same with food everywhere and that same slicer used to slice everything from cheese to meat. The woman in front of me got a turkey so I was safe. The bread was fresh, the turkey was sliced fresh and the Swiss cheese was sliced fresh, although paper thin. The prices have gone up since I've been there last. A little over $11 for a "regular". It was good. The service was friendly and quick. read more

Yikes. I've ordered 3 times through the app and each time our order has been wrong. One time I walked in and it was quite busy, but the other two, it was not. This last time my daughter ordered a buffalo chicken sand and got a steak and cheese. We have ordered through the app at multiple locations and never had a problem but this location is really awful. This place is simply incapable of getting a Grubhub order correct. Last week forget the peppers and onions on a steak sandwich with peppers in onions. First off they took about 20 minutes and there were 2 people in front of me. The employees were very lackadaisical. The other HUGE problem were the flies. DOZENS of flies and they were landing right on the subs. I stood by shooing them from MY sub, but I mean COME ONNNN. Kill the fucking flies, there are 4 of you and flies didn't seem to matter. So glad to have a Jersey Mike's in the area after discovering them in the Carolinas a few years ago. They have a great mix of hot and cold offerings and all sandwiches are made to order. I couldn't decide hot or cold so I'm classic fat guy fashion, I ordered one of each. A classic Italian mixed cold sub and a Philly cheesesteak hot. They offer regular and giant for sizes. Giant will feed two with ease. I went for the regular and the cold sub I got "Mike's Way" (lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar) the sandwich comes sort of wet but delicious. If you're trying to drive and eat, probably not a great idea. The philly is a traditional style cheesesteak and cooked fresh and tasty. Pricing is a bit high for a chain sub shop but worth every penny. Location is convenient in a plaza woth plenty of parking. Counter help was friendly but they were a bit slower than other JM locations. Not terrible but noticeable. Fountain drinks and bottles available and they even have cookies but you might not have room for them. You may find a better hometown privately owned deli but for a chain sandwich shop, these guys are King. read more

I had a very bad experience at this shop and with this brand. Customer service is horrible. It took me more than 1 hour to get my sub because they kept having trouble with their credit card machines and didn't know how to fix it or who to call to fix it (or were unwilling to call someone). I called the corporate office (talked with a lady named Kerry) to tell them about it and they said that they couldn't help me... They said because it's a franchise only the owner of the store can help me... But that there was no way for me to contact them (So basically the usual corporate game where they set up their bureaucracy in such a way that they are unreachable and unaccountable... With the hope that you just go away). But Carrie did say that she would tell the owner of the store to call me. He never did so I called back corporate 3 weeks later and they apologized and said they would again contact the owner of the shop and tell them to call me... But once again The owner weaselled out from calling me. To make a long story short... If you want to buy some food and get in and out and on your way this is not the place to go and there is no recourse if there is a problem with the service/food. read more

The Buffalo chicken sub is advertised that it's made with Frank's Redhot. I would like to know what brand they are actually using. Sub was bland, sauce was def not Frank's, chicken overcook slightly. This is a review for Janell. I hope I have her name right. She was working the noon hour on Tues Feb 18. I like Jersey Mikes. But this is a sub place and can be interchanged with most other sub places. The lunch crush was on. I entered as 6th in line and when I left the line was about 12 people. There were 3 workers, but Janell was doing about 75% of the work. She spoke up, looked at you, took your order, made your sandwich, trained the new girl on making a hot sub, worked fast but efficiently, and said THANK YOU as she handed you your sub. You could have cloned the other 2 workers and still not had them doing as much or giving as much service as Janell. Please give her more money or someone should come poach her away for a service job. read more

My wife and I decided to give Jersey Mike's a try. We both had their #7, which is a Turkey sub with provolone. They asked us if we wanted it Mike's way, which is with oil, red vinegar and their special spices... We dud have them Mike's way but invited mayo to the party. The subs were tasty but pricey. A full size sub is over $12.00. They come in three sizes small, reg and large. It was good and I will go again. I just know that it's gonna cost me. Im a fan of Jersey Mike's. Yes its more expensive than pretty much any other sub chain or mom n' pop place. Yes their red wine "vinegar" has a bit of a koolaid vibe to it. Yes they drown your sandwich with said "vinegar" and olive oil when you order it Mike's Way but thats what makes it delicious. Also the coldcuts are sliced fresh for your sandwich so they are moister and not dried out. I always get a #11 with no ham, Mike's way minus the onions. Very disappointing. My husband and I could not wait until this place opened. I ordered the reubon, the meat was extremely salty. My husband ordered a roast beef sub although the roast beef was rare as he likes it had no flavor. I don't mind paying more for quality but, our subs were less than quality and the prices are extremely high for the sub. For a "regular" size sub which is a 6 inch we paid over $18.00 for 2. We won't be returning. We will chalk it up as a lesson learned and stick with "quality" subs at affordable prices at Cardonas in Albany. read more
