We placed our order online and arrived about 10 minutes later. The store wasn't busy at all, so we figured it would be quick. Instead, we stood there for 45 minutes waiting for our food. I finally asked one of the employees if our order was ready, and he did not look up from the computer before saying, "When it's ready, it'll be on that shelf." No explanation, no update, no effort to check. The lack of urgency and customer service was honestly frustrating. If they're that backed up, at least communicate. Really disappointing experience. I hope management addresses the delays and the attitude because this isn't the standard I expect from Jersey Mike's. read more

I love Jersey Mikes but this location is painful to visit. Visited on 11/2 around noon. The staff could absolutely care LESS about being there and doing their jobs. The young man putting toppings on sandwiches moved so slow it almost seemed like he was purposefully slow. He was also shaking the spice jars on sandwiches even though the spice jars were empty and he never went and got filled jars. All of the staff also had in AirPods? Not sure how this place could get worse. 60 minutes for an online order. I could have cured the meat, grown the vegetable, and made the sandwich myself in such a period of time. Rarely ever go to Jersey Mike's to be honest. I prefer Jimmy John's in the class of chain sandwich joints. But I will be honest this was a good visit and the family agreed. Parking is in their own private lot. When buddy do not expect to be close. The lit was clean and signage adequate. A decent line was formed for a 1245 lunch rush. However it moved quickly. Ordering was friendly and efficient. Orders were ready within minutes. The manager checked us out and was especially nice. The dining room was now empty and mine dissolved. Our table was clean, but others needed attention along with sweeping the floor which never was done during our visit. The highlight was delicious sandwiches on fresh bread. I called and placed the order, went to pick it up, and no one would answer the phone. I was disconnected, switched over to a fax machine, and then disconnected again. I like their club sub, but not enough to be ignored. If you can't be bothered to handle a paying customer who's come to get their order, then one of two things are going on: Your employees don't know what they're doing, or you're understaffed. I left after they hung up on me the third time. There are lots of restaurants in Knoxville with good food and much better service. That's where I'll be next time I want a sub. read more

The people who worked, there were friendly, but very slow moving. All of the countertops were covered in lettuce and meat and cheese. It looked dirty. Bathroom doors were grimy and gross. Great service, my favorite sandwich in knox. I order here every couple of weeks and the food is always consistent.

I will not order again until packaging process is changed. My sandwich was delivered in a bag with just a twist at the top of the bag. There was no seal or tape to ensure the contents had not been tampered with and the delivery person just handed me the bag which is expected but that person or someone riding along with the delivery person could have easily tampered with the contents and I would never know it. There's just no excuse not to have something in place to ensure tampering has not occurred. A change would help the delivery person and the customer. Such a simple solution. read more

I made a simple request to have a cold sub put on the grill, to which I was lied to and said the manager claims this as cross-contamination, which is not true. Everyone seemed to lack knowledge of how to do the job correctly, and the slicer nor grill looked as if it had been cleaned. I had to ask the man who was going to make my sub to please pull up his mask before he started making my sub. It wasn't just under his nose, it was barely over his mouth. There were four people in front of us. The line in store was OUT THE DOOR yet they proceeded to make TEN online orders without taking any orders in store. If there was another sandwich shop next door this jersey mikes would be out of business. Do you ever wonder how many people it takes to bag your sandwiches & ring you up...let me tell you..at this store it takes 2-3. And do I even begin to talk about the mayonnaise application. Jersey Mike's Subs. Being from Philadelphia and frequenting New Jersey almost every weekend, I grew up eating a certain kind of sub sandwiches. No warm and soggy subs for me, thank you. The subs I love have a certain mixture of spices that make my mouth sing and my heart soar. Those are the spices on the Italian sub I had from Jersey Mike's. It was delicious! Just one suggestion - the sandwich could have used more! But the combination of cheeses, meats, lettuce, tomatoes, spices, and bread had me believing I was sitting on the boardwalk in Ocean City or the Pizza Palace in Oak Lane enjoying my favorite sub. By far the best sub shop in business!!! Top quality freshly sliced meats and cheese. Amazing fresh bread. I live in Hardin Valley and make the drive to Bearden (passing many other sub shops) to visit this location because the food is always amazing and the staff has ALWAYS been super friendly. I've tried all the competitors: Firehouse, Jimmy John's, Lenny's, Nixon's...and for me, Jersey Mike's is always the best. Get a #13 original Italian with "extra juice" (oil & vinegar) and thank me later . I will DEFINITELY be back here to get my fix as long as the doors are open! read more

Called store to place order 9 times between 6:10 and 6:30. No one answered the phone after multiple rings and it rolled over to fax machine. This has been a common experience with this store. See other Google reviews and call nearest Jersey's Mike's store as they are aware of the issue as well. I do not know why they refuse to answer phone. My last call was 3 minutes prior to arrival. Upon arrival, there was no one in restaurant or waiting in line. There were 3 employees, one was cooking an online order and the other two were doing nothing and subsequently went to back room. I asked why they did not answer phone, and they stated they were just swamped with customers. I was there for 10 minutes while they prepared order and no one came in restaurant or called into restaurant. I asked again why they do not answer phone and one employee stated that you do not know what it's like to work here. The restaurant continues to be managed by poor leadership. I have given this restaurant too many chances and it is just too frustrating to deal with people who will not answer phone. Again, see corroborating Google reviews. So my rating will conflict with my review some. The subs are very good, great quality and very well proportions. I haven't been to this location in a long time, mainly because there's some places closer and cheaper. Pricing is a slight issue, but because of quality I let it go most times. I went in today, ordered 4 subs. Close to 40 dollars. I'm a larger person and the 4 kids in the shop were smirking and laughing when they saw me come in. One other person in the shop. I picked up my online order and I was respectful. I won't be back anytime soon if again. Which wich, and Penn Station are very good options in the area. read more

Of the 8 Jersey Mike's I have been to in my life, this one ranks 3rd in quality and 7th in service. While the workers were nice people, they could not even honor the simplest request of making a cold sub a hot sub. They even mentioned how it is good as if they have tried it before.
