Very fresh ingredients. This was my first time at Jersey Mike's Subs ever. I was not sure what to expect. I have heard such great things about this place from meat eaters. Not so much from vegetarians. The vegetarian sandwich was fresh. All of the veggies were great. However, the vegetarian sandwich was just cheese and vegetables. Very boring. There needs to be a protein option, or something to make it heartier. Maybe tofu, eggs, veggie patty, chickpeas, avocado, etc. I hope they add something else that vegetarians can add to the sandwich. This is an overpriced sandwich for cheese, vegetables and bread. Super boring and not exciting when you are plant based. Now, for meat eaters this place is great. My husband loves it. Hubby and I were craving subs. We decided on Jersey Mike's. My opinion is based only on my sandwich and nothing else. My husband was the one who ordered in-person. I had the original italian. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Based on the yelp ratings, my hopes weren't high. The ratio between bread and filling was balanced. The bread was sturdy but soft and the dressing was just enough to give flavor. It didn't soak through and make the bread soggy. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The meats were also fresh. It's 5:56 am right now. Writing about my experience last night at this place. Went in at about 7:30pm to get a sandwich to go. Spent a few minutes deciding which sandwich I wanted and what toppings. When I go to order a young man took my order and seem to be writing it down. He placed paper on counter next to a young lady building sandwiches for someone else. She finished placing meats and cheese on breads and then asked what I wanted. I Repeated what I told to first employee. I requested a regular size which is supposed to be the half sandwich size for $12 for their #13. The young lady gets a small size bread and starts to make my sandwich. I questioned the size of the bread because it was very small. She responded that it was a medium. I said no, it's small. Another female employee chimed in saying that's a medium size. I look again and I said to myself that there is no way in hell I am going to pay $12 for that size sandwich. I see another lawsuit against this company similar to Subway's a few years ago. I've been to Jersey Mike before and have ordered various sandwiches and salad tubs. First time ordering sandwich here. And clearly this store needs a visit from corporate. The fact that 2 employees are trying to convince me a small is a medium tells me management at this location or maybe franchise owner is cutting corners and cheating customers. So back to my story. I ordered a California club via Door Dash. I received a half ass sandwich. It was dry without Mayo or dressing. No bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. I called to resolve. The little girl found every disingenuous excuse to avoid any responsibility. She said I had to order all of the above despite the product description indicating otherwise. I paid $13 for a sandwich with Turkey and cheese. Due to the Mike's employee I will not return to this location. She was dishonest without the desire to do a good job. WORST experience ever, will never return again and I hope this review is a warning to you as well. NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD. TLDR: Worst customer service I've ever seen out of a "lead position" Shift leader completely ruined experience with blunt rudeness. 6/26/22 10:45AM Was headed up to the lake for the day, stopped by this location for lunch with my girlfriend and her dad. Her dad mentioned that there used to be a deal if you bought a giant sandwich you'd get one at a discounted price. So we asked the girl slicing the meat (brunette with braces, was very nice) and she said she wasn't sure and that she'd ask her manager (we found out later this "manager" was their shift leader.) The "manager" came out with a terrible attitude like she couldn't be bothered from the back room and said the only deal they had was if you bought two giant sandwiches you'd get the 3rd one for 3.99 and we said awesome we'll do that! So back to ordering with the brunette, we told her after her "manager" just told us all that, we were going to do the 2 for 3rd @ 3.99 deal with the giants!.. Everything goes smoothly, our sandwiches are getting made and a blonde girl takes one of our sandwiches to the register and goes "3 giants?" and we said yes with the 3rd at $3.99 deal. She said in a condescending way "yeah that's fine if you have the coupon." So we told her the manager just came out and told us about the deal and she was like oh well you need a coupon, I was like okay go get the manager that just told us the deal. The manager comes out a 2nd time, shuffles over in the worst attitude I've ever witnessed in customer service SIGHS LOUDLY and says, "yeah so the deal is only if you order online or over the phone" and we were like what???? Why wouldn't you tell us that in the first place and she just kept saying "you misunderstood me"... WHY the **** would you tell us about a deal over the phone or online if were standing right in front of you ordering? All THREE of us misunderstood you?? I have never been a Karen before but this shift leader literally pissed me off so bad with her blatant "you're wrong i'm right" attitude that I told her if we're so misunderstood we'll just leave and not take the sandwiches. In the MIDDLE of our conversation she SIGHS again and turns around and walks away to the back room. A very sweet girl (very short hair) who was continually making/wrapping our sandwiches apologized multiple times and I asked them if that was their manager that just walked away and they said "no that's my shift leader" and I asked "well is she done talking?" And they said "I'm not sure" and just kept apologizing and trying to make the situation a little better which is how customer service is supposed to be provided. The cashier (the rude blonde girl) kept telling us we needed to find a coupon if we wanted the deal, so we all sat there looking for this non-existent coupon. The sweet girl with short hair butted in and said they could offer a 10% discount and that they're sorry that's all they could offer. Then the shift leader returns out of no where from her cave after just walking out of our conversation to confirm she just called her "manager" who also confirmed the deal was online/over the phone only. Cool thanks, goodbye, go back to your cave. We ended up paying for the meal with the 10% discount offered and the sweet girl apologized one last time (seems like she has to do this a lot, feeling responsible for her TERRIBLE shift leader). I want to reiterate that the rest of the staff behaved in a typical way you'd expect besides the girl with short hair who went above and beyond to try and make our experience better, EVEN if WE were being obnoxious. The shift leader especially and blonde girl were so rude that I'll never be returning to that establishment again, and I advise you don't as well. read more

My husband and I went here on Friday night, May 19, while deciding what sandwich to order, one of the female employees was cleaning a countertop with chemicals and a rag. Once my husband said he was ready, this, same employee, with the same dirty gloves she was using to clean, grabs a bread and starts to make the sandwich. My husband was disgusted, and told her, Are you really not going to change your gloves and just start making my sandwich? That's disgusting This employee laughed and said my bad and offered to start over, my husband was so disgusted. He said, never mind and left. The shop on Dexter in Lake Elsinore needs some better training. I ordered 2 sandwiches around 5:45 pm on 3/30/22 and the app stated my sandwiches would be ready at 6:18pm. I arrived at 6:15pm, an employee asked if I was there to pick an order, I said yes and stated my first and last name. She pressed on a screen a number of times and then said we don't have a Chris. I told her my name is not Chris and stated my name again and pointed to a receipt hanging from a back counter with my name on it. She said oh and then walked over to a printer up on a shelf. It appeared like the printer had a paper jam. She then went over to the meat slicer and began taking orders. I noticed a bag on the pick up shelf and verified the bag was not mine. I watched about 4 people have their orders taken and it appeared my sandwiches had not been started. I took a spot in line behind 3 people who arrived after me. While in line a man stood up and asked the staff if his order was going to be much longer. The gal at the meat slicer said it was on the rack. This was a sandwich I spotted after I first arrived. The man was NOT happy as he left the store. I had already been there for 15 mins. so the sandwich had been sitting there at least that long. The store was out of wheat bread so my husband's #9 had to be made with white. The gal at the meat slicer had just put bacon on the grill and I was told I would need to wait for the bacon to finish cooking. I am now 1/2 hour after my pick up time and I didn't feel like waiting another 5-10 minutes for bacon. As the young man behind the register began ringing up my order I pointed to the receipt with my name on it behind him and said, I paid for these on the app about an hour ago. I have placed orders via the app and never had an issue with your shops on Temecula Parkway in Temecula or your shop on Grape Street in Lake Elsinore. So I know it is not Jersey's Mike it must be the Dexter shop. The store had an out of order sign over one selection on the soda machine, the board was semi scrapped clean between sandwiches, they were out of wheat bread and as I mentioned earlier bacon was not currently available. There seemed to be no sense of urgency amoung the staff. At one point 3 employees were looking at a customers phone. Not sure what the issue was, I think it had something to do with point redemption. Bottomline, I will not be returning to this location eventhough it is closer to my home. The staff seems slow and VERY unorganized. read more
