Until I actually get to eat what I order, this is my rating. it was a quiet Sunday afternoon. We walked in and placed our order. The server was very nice and patient while we made our final choices. There was another young man working on other orders at the same time. When it came time to pay, we only had 1 sandwich so they started going through the 3 bags on the counter to find our other sandwich. Well, you guessed it, my order was missing which means someone else also got the wrong order. We only got one of our 2 turkey sandwiches. The other was tuna, not close to turkey. Sandwiches looked good and my husband said his was very good and the bread was really soft and fresh. I hate sub sandwiches with hard, crusty bread. Location was clean, but the music that was blasting reminded me of the car that pulls up next to you at the stoplight with the bass blasting, causing your car to shake and you can't close your windows fast enough. I would try this place again, but i would watch the preparation from beginning to placement in your carry-out bag. read more

Went in to grab a late lunch on Sat the 17th, granted it was obviously after the lunch rush, but there wasn't a clean table to sit at in the place. We got our food, the guys behind the counter were friendly enough and the food was fine, but I cleared trash from a table myself and wiped it down. We were the only people in the restaurant and the employees just went in the back and started talking about something with the refrigerator. One of them came back out to take his break and eat a sandwich, but in the entire time we were there no other customers came in, the employees stayed in the back, and none of the tables were cleared off. It was kind of gross actually. This place used to be run by a great team, but honestly I can stay home and make myself a sandwich rather than come here again. read more

First to worst situation. This was a reliable go-to for years with consistently outstanding service and fresh food. Low staff turnover. Recent visits consistently are quite the opposite. Poorly trained staff with new faces every visit and little teamwork. Long waits. And something is off about the food. It's not being prepared correctly, or the bread is stale, maybe both. Now they have had a fire due to poor grill maintenance. Quite likely they lost a great store manager and the replacement is just not up to the task. I've been to many Jersey locations. This is BY FAR the best one. Service is outstanding! Brian and everyone does a Great job every time. The place is very clean as well . They should all get a Nice bonus and raise ! I have my own business and it's not easy to get a group like this that works so hard and well together, with a lm even better attitude and demeanor. I've always enjoyed Mike's Subs, subsequently, we frequently use Mike's as a source for our training session lunches. We purchased 23 sandwiches today, most were number 7's at a cost of $230.00. As the students started unwrapping their sandwiches, they started complaining that there was only one thin slice of meat on their sandwiches. Mike's claims to be a "cut above," does this sandwich look like a cut above to you? I've tried to be patient. I get it, the world is short staffed. I stopped going to this one in favor of the one on Ogden at Washington. Last time I was there it was a guest line to the door. About 20 people. My daughter said "should we wait"? Well, at minimum 1 minute each we will be here a half hour. Then we realized there were only 2 people working. Ok, 5 minutes each. This is coming from a first time to go order. I opted for the chipotle cheese steak sandwich. The bread was soft, semi firm and fluffy like a mix of turano bread and Jimmy Johns bread. The meat and cheese was good - A little bit on the salty side, but maybe the salt and vinegar chips bumped it up a bit. I'm glad I chose to drink water because I feel like I just finished my sodium intake for the week. The chipotle mayo is thick and dense and yummy. Definitely order the chipotle mayo on the side if you don't wanna go straight to bed afterwards. It's a recipe for an instant good coma... I'm excited to try other options on my next visit. I ordered on the phone and once I arrived they did not have my order and was ordering again and was trying to pay for my order when another employee just looks at me and tells me to step back so they can help other's customer, problem was only other customers was just waiting for his order, he was very very rude, acted like he didn't want me in there. I will never go back there again, there is another one on Ogden and Washington, even though they are much further away I will be going there from now on, they should teach them to be little more polite to the customers read more

I was excited to hear the JMS was coming to Lisle. I have been a fan since their location in Naperville open a few years back. In my opinon fresh cut deli meat taste better, and thats how JMS does it. Oh and did I mention they bake their own bread....The Turkey Breast and Provolone cheese sub is 99% fat free so no guilty consumption here..LOL! I look forward to experimenting with more subs upon my future visits. I also like the fact that any sub is available in a wrap if bread isn't your thing. I really have no idea what the other people are talking about, but I love this joint. I highly recommend jersey mikes for their freshly sliced to order deli Italian meats, this is the #5 fresh Italian meat and cheese made the Italian way , even the bread is good! They have roast beef that's made in house and other options like wraps and hot subs and by far better than subway if you compare the quality and definitely better than firehouse subs and jimmy johns , if you are looking for quality Italian meats it's either here or Fontana subs in hinsdale but definitely jersey mikes has many locations , definitely worth trying the #5 read more

The food quality has never been an issue, and that goes for the other nearby JM locations. Maybe I came in at the wrong time, but waiting 15 minutes in line (when there are three customers in the store) spells bad service, and this location was no stranger to that. Even though the customer in front of me was ordering for an entire family, it was understandable. I didn't appreciate the cashier going out of his/her way to give the customer free samples of their sauces, especially when the person behind me and myself had been waiting awhile to place our orders. I'm not against 'favoritism', but when the remaining staff rushes behind the counter to speed up orders and doesn't even acknowledge the wait time, it comes across as insincere. Chalk my experience up to coming at the wrong time, but I don't think I will come back to this location. Even for chain sandwich places, sometimes services trumps food quality. read more

Don't waste your time preordering. The food is never ready on time. I preordered and it still took 25 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready for them to make it. On my way home on Sunday, I was craving a reuben in the worst way. I consider myself a "veggie-centric" - I don't eat a lot of meat, but when I do, I tend to splurge. Reubens are one of my splurges. I swung by Jersey Mike's, a place I've driven past dozens of times but never checked out. Much to my delight, they had a pastrami reuben on the menu. I ponied up about $7.50 for a regular, which is kind of pricy, but in return I got a sandwich that I'm still fantasizing about. The meat was tender and non-gristly, the swiss cheese was melted perfectly and the sauerkraut was warm and just the right mix of sweet/acidic. Plus, it came on a white bun (though they offered me a wheat one too). I know reubens usually come on rye, but I hate rye bread with a passion. I wish the thousand island dressing hadn't completely soaked into the bun, but that's okay. My sandwich was still nice and warm and soft when I got it home, thanks to the double-layer tinfoil wrapping. I signed up for their text messages and have gotten a few coupons send to my phone already - that'll definitely help lure me back just in case the reuben wasn't enough of a draw! read more

I'm a Jimmy John's girl.. always have been. But today I ventured into Jersey Mike's to grab a sandwich for my dad. The atmosphere was fantastic. The guy who I believed to be the owner or manager greeted me when I walked in, and gave me a free cookie when I left. The guy taking my order was incredibly friendly towards everyone, asking how our days were going, what were our weekend plans, etc. The guy making sandwiches was fun, upbeat, and also got involved in conversations, joked around with me, and passed me to the smiley cashier. It didn't matter that I was standing in a long line because these guys kept me entertained! Fantastic service. They recently opened this store very near my house. I'm happy to have a healthier option for lunch since the current ones are McDonalds and KFC/Taco Bell. I've tried 3 of their subs and have been very impressed with the product. Also, this location's staff is very upbeat and fun which really helps create a business I don't mind supporting. The first time I walked in, I was greeted by a blonde woman who was working the condiment station. She kindly explained to me what "Mike's Way" meant and was patient as I carefully thought of each ingredient before it was added to my sub.
