Everyone has an opinion. I recently tried a steak and cheese sandwich. I must say, I do not know what kept me from trying it sooner, It certainly did not disappoint. Starting with the soft bread, yum. The sliced beef was generous and of good quality in taste and texture. The provolone was not skimpy either, thank God. Honestly terrible wait times. You get told a couple minutes for a pickup order to be ready and 25 min later it's still not done. Just 3 sandwiches. A door dash driver was waiting on 2 sandwiches and was there just as long until he walked out. The place wasn't even busy and they had plenty of workers. Today's lunch at Jersey Mike's was a great experience. We came in with no line and multiple workers ready to prep our order. Our giant sandwich combo was quickly readied. Love Mike's Way minus the onions. The roast beef was stacked on our #6. Clean tables and friendly service. I seriously love these sandwiches! The place feels like it should with a clean place to eat at small tables and a very efficient line that moves fast. The people are friendly and fun as well. Not a favorite. I came in on 12/15. There was two guys in front of me. The person making the sandwich was trying rush us through the line and just caused some confusion. The bread and meat tasted mine but the lettuce didn't taste fresh. They were doing an interview and i slight heard one of the interviews bad mouth competition. I feel like that's a big no no. Had a perfectly fine experience here. Not quite as good in terms as service as most of the other Jersey Mike's locations we've visited, but the ingredients are always consistent and delicious. So, we had a great lunch, even if it didn't feel like a welcoming place due to the staff. We were just passing through during a road trip. I'd certainly stop here again if I was passing through, but I'd also check to see if there was another location not too far away along our route in the hopes that the service would be a little more friendly elsewhere. read more

Best spot to go for subs/wraps/bowls, with good music and friendly staff! They will offer to make it "Mike's Way" which starts you out with onion, lettuce, tomato, red vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt which you can then add to. I've noticed a lot of people being thrown off by that as if someone's telling them how to eat their sub, or jokingly saying "No I want it MY way. However, they're not trying to make you eat it a different way, it's just a way to speed up your ordering process and get you out the door or eating faster. It's not funny to staff because they hear it so much and you're actually just prolonging the process and sounding a bit childish when they're only trying to help you. If you only want some of those things just ask for "Mike's way but without" and then list what you don't want and add to it if you'd like. They also offer rewards points towards free subs by quickly signing up with your phone number! HIGHLY recommend, especially this location! read more

Sub shops are easy to come by, and I can think of about a half dozen without putting too much effort into it. We'd been by Jersey Mike's a few times and decided to stop in for lunch on a Sunday. The interior is decorated in Jersey/Surf theme, and you order your sandwich in front of the refrigerated case that houses the meats and cheeses that'll be used to build your lunch. The menu is typical sandwich-shop fare, and you can get your sandwich "Mike's Way", or simply add whatever vegetables and sauces you wish. Of course, as with other sub shops, you can make it a meal (add chips and a drink) for an additional cost. We visited on a Sunday for lunch, and I was surprised by the amount of staff on hand. I believe I counted six people behind the counter, which seemed a bit over-staffed for a Sunday lunch. The dining room was constantly being looked after, and table were cleared quickly once it was emptied. All of the staff (all female during this visit) were friendly and helpful, and didn't mind taking a moment to explain something. The order and food delivery process went pretty quickly. Our food was prepared quickly and accurately and there were no problems with our order. All in all, it was a good visit. Nothing too remarkable, everything fell into place nicely. If I'm in the area I'd definitely go back, but not really destination-worthy. read more

But when the app tells me my order will be ready in 20 minutes and it's not ready until 40 minutes- that's a problem. I order a giant portabella and swiss on rosemary bread and got a giant wheat bun with only enough mushroom and swiss to fill a 6 inch bun. I called the store to speak with the manager and his response was "ok" and "is that all?" No sorry about that or would you like for us to make you another one (nothing). For a $15 dollar sub I would have liked to have bitten into a mushroom. I know it's hard to find good help but please teach the ones you have to make better sandwiches. Definitely my most frequented lunch spot and my favorite sandwich place! I love that they slice the meat and cheese fresh in front of you. Al of the toppings and vegetables also always seem very fresh. I also love that they have the "mini" sandwich option because it's the perfect size for me. Out if all the options on Westport road. I stopped in Jersey Mike's for a Philly cheesesteak. I placed order with specific instructions, NO peppers extra meat and sub provolone cheese. This was about 8 o'clock on Monday night. I paid at register(young guy at counter couldn't figure how to print my recipe.i said don't worry about it. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes. Young guy handed me my order. It felt light, I asked is this with extra meat. He said yes. After I drove home, I opened it up. It was full of peppers. Cheese was nonexistent. I had to pitch it. Extremely disappointing and $13+ dollars gone. Apparently the guy can't read. I tried to call to I firm them but Noone picked up. After 3 tries, I gave up. Just had my ordered delivered from Jersey Mike's in Springhurst. Last time we ordered one of the sandwich's was made wrong and we ordered two cookies and telnet were totally left out of the order. Avoid this location, overall Jersey Mike's is good. Try Dorsey Lane instead. Here is the story, I get home, and my roast beef is bloody. Thank goodness I didn't bite down. I call the store, and Donna tells me the roast beef is fresh (yeah it's practically mooing) and fine. She questioned why I didn't notice it in the store. I was calm thinking I'm saving others; they will throw this stuff out, and take my name for a refund. She doesn't offer a resolution and says I can talk to the General Manager. I said I want my money back and that I can't believe she is not acknowledging the problem. I'm done with this location, they are regularly out of ingredients, heck, the door had a sign "no white bread." They don't fill the tea hours before closing. I also had a big order for a holiday meal at work; I called in a week ahead and the day before but they ran out of ingredients. So I'm stuck with employees working Thanksgiving and no food. Very good Subs! I've had good and bad experiences with Jersey Mikes in general. I got a terrible sub from one of their stores in West Chester, OH but really good ones in the Las Vegas Airport of all places. This Louisville location is one of the very good ones though. I got a turkey and provolone sub that was delicious Mikes Way. I like that they slice the meats as you order your sub. A gimmick maybe but it works for me. The bread is fresh, soft and delicious. This location is very clean and conveniently located next to basket robins ice cream shop. In fact they have a shared foyer with a gate between the two shops. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend giving this location a try. read more

Pretty good subs, but 1 thing that drives me crazy....I've ordered 3 times and all 3 times they forgot to add 1 simple ingredient...pickles!! Not that hard, not sure why pickles are continuously forgotten, but it makes a difference. After the first time I checked it before I left each time after and each time they had to fix it. Hello My Fiancé and I was just there a few minutes ago having issues with payment so I had paid $6.31 with one card and then I had went out to the car to transfer some money over so that I can finish the payment but when I came back the coworker had a attitude asking did I have cash, and I told him no which in return he took in a big puff meaning he was mad that I didn't have cash so from my understanding he was incompetent of knowing how to do two card transactions, and he needs to work on his people skills. He is not good at customer service trying to use his managerial status, but he had to call the person who is above him on how to go about the situation, and he tells us out of frustration that we can't come back, but I also do DoorDash so if a customer orders door dash ill be still coming in regardless, and the first action he took was to call the police which was not needed to say the least because no one was putting anyone in danger. I love Jersey Mikes. I go there frequently and have ordered platters for parties. I usually order Mikes Original Mikes Way and have never been disappointed. However, recently I went off script and ordered the grilled pastrami Reuben. It was awful. The pastrami was grilled to overdone, there was very little if any sauerkraut on it and they forgot the thousand island dressing. After all the good subs I've gotten at Mikes this was the first time an order has gone wrong. I won't stop going to Mikes but I definitely will not order this sub again. read more
