I don't order from Jersey Mike's often, but when I do, I like to keep it simple: a few subs, a happy family, and a reasonable expectation that the sandwiches come with... you know... what we ordered. Today's adventure? A tale of betrayal. My wife and daughter--both die-hard pickle enthusiasts--specifically requested extra pickles in the notes for our online order (because the app doesn't have a "give us all the pickles you can" button). We drive home, unwrap the subs--and Zero pickles. What we did get was a sub that had clearly taken a bath in oil and vinegar. Did someone mistake our sandwiches for a salad? Or were they trying to distract us from Pickle Heist? Either way, the result was soggy bread, sad faces, and a firm vote to not roll the Jersey Mike's dice again anytime soon. read more

If you like fresh bread you will love this place. Lots of bread.. little meat.. lots of money.. the rewards program is great if you frequent the place. The sandwiches are good but need more meat for the price. I love shredded lettuce so that works nicely. You can customize too. #17 my favorite. read more

I'm on the fence here. On the one hand, the staff was kind, my order was ready and packaged up early, the location was clean, the bathroom pristine for a place on the side of the highway near the Jersey shore. We ordered two bowls--expecting pinwheels like we are used to having at other Jersey Mike's locations. On the order page, there is an option to have your sub in pinwheel form over salad. Well...when we looked at our takeout containers, there were no pinwheels and two or three slices of meat and cheese covered in salad shreds and tomato. It looked like someone gave up. We had to hunt for the paltry meat and cheese. We couldn't tell if it was even dressed, it was so plain. Maybe Jersey Mike's needs to invest in training the staff in how to create their signature dishes that are not on bread. Made me wish I had ordered a GF sub. read more

I been eating your Subs my entire life and your mini size Subs have never been this small. For $4.00 more I can go to Lenny's meat market and deli in Toms River and get a 18" Italian Sub that's 6" high with 10,000lbs of meat on it (don't believe it?) look at their photos on Yelp. Jersey Mike's is a multi-state chain sandwich shop, which has its origins right here in Ocean County, NJ. Their quality is pretty consistent. It's a great place to stop for a better than average sandwich instead of going to a fast food chain. When I am driving around, and I need a quick bite, I will often stop at one. That's what I the other day when I stopped here. Their bread is pretty good. Their cold cuts are better than average, but they are not Boar's Head or any other premium brand. Once you are used to premium cold cuts, it's somewhat disappointing that theirs is just average. The other reason I can only give them 3 stars is that they don't have a selection of side salads, such as homemade macaroni salad, coleslaw, etc... New York Delis will have that. At least it's not on display if they do. All they had was chips, and I am bored of chips. Their drink options could also be more varied. read more

I enjoy a sub from here about once a month but I crave it every week. This location takes the cake so far! They are super friendly and we had great service. They have one person working each part of the sub making process. All,the staff were so nice. Maybe it's a south jersey thing! The sub was tasty as always, and made , sliced to order. I always get it Mikes way. They are also super patient !! The customer in front of us was ordering and was super high maintenance and the staff didn't blink an eye. Ordered online app friday evening, expected to wait a bit. 30 min pick up time was almost exact, BUT..walked in the store, 3 employees behind the counter never even picked up their heads to great me or the other customer. Stood there 10 min, still.not even a " hello" , be right with you, nada!!. Employee brought a few bags out for pick up and literally threw the bags on the tables for the pickups, again didnt even look up at us. Bread was gummy, and the vinegar was very light. Sandwich was very bland. I understand the whole covid deal and what these employees are going thru, but to drop ur customer service to zero is really not acceptable. Ordered a turkey hoagie over the phone and specifically stated I only wanted oil and vinegar on it. I picked up my food and staff was very friendly I will say. I get home and open up my sandwich and there is Mayo on it. I despise Mayo. I don't know how they confused oil and vinegar for Mayo.. unless I missed the memo that they put Mayo on every turkey sandwich. I didn't eat my sandwich and the drive back to this Jersey Mike's was too far and would've been closed by the time I went back. Very disappointed. Having heard of Jersey Mike's as being THE Place For A Great Sub, I had high expectations. The young lady that served me was really nice, friendly and quick. Everything about the service, cleanliness and the staff is super good, and that alone saves this from getting 1 star. The subs are all waaaay expensive. While the meats and topping were fresh and tasty, you lose all sense of them in the massive amount of bread. The loaf made up about 80% of the sandwich, and we both ditched the top half, just to get a sense of having an actual flavorful experience. Save your money, go down the road to Subways in the Wal-Mart. read more

The freshness of ingredients is always excellent but unfortunately they have been getting unreasonably thin on the amount of cold cuts on the sandwiches. It's not only this location either. Best subs in Jersey! Maybe even on the planet. This place knows how to make a sub. The meat is very fresh and delicious, as are the veggies. The bread is locally made and delivered each day. The club supreme is my favorite cold sub. Roast beef, turkey, bacon and swiss. So good. Here you can get a buffalo chicken cheese steak that is so good it makes me weepy. Terrible experience, was only the 2nd person in line waited almost 10 min just to order. They were busy making orders online but to make customers wait in store that long seemed a bit ridiculous to me. I ordered my sandwich and asked for lite mayo, the girl just slabbed a bit on and didn't spread it at all... she also forgot to put my pepper an oregano on, I politely asked if she did and she picked up each spice and slammed them down after using. The cashier didn't ask me for my club number and just seems like I was bothering them. I have been going here for years. usually or should I say use to be good. I went there today it was not half as good. I asked for salt pepper oregano none. I asked for extra onions if there were 3 I was lucky. Really good sub spot! Fantastic sub rolls, quality ingredients, and fresh deli meats that are sliced directly onto your roll. Jersey mikes seemed to be on a Subway model with the assembly line sandwich gig going on, but that's about the only thing they have in common. I wish we had these in Massachusetts because I would probably eat there on the reg. The service was great; we got taken care of right away and they cut my sandwich into thirds as requested. I really can't say enough good things about Jersey Mikes and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Unfortunately this place went downhill quick. used to be really good but the last sandwich I got there was sub-par. Much smaller roll, 2 slices of cheese {max}, very little meat and no oil and vinegar. the lettuce was wilted and one and a half slices of tomato.
