Two slices left but the person offered to make me a fresh pizza slice-to-go if I didn't mind waiting 8-10 minutes. I appreciated the kindness and care more than they knew. I've stopped here a couple of times. The pizza was pretty good. Nothing outstanding but worth revisiting. However we ordered one night late apparently right before closing. The person on the phone was kind of rude, but it seemed like she just wasn't hearing us so we really didn't think anything of it. When we got there to pick it up, she was very rude and said she told us she was closing and basically walked out the door, handing us our food. It was unbelievable. read more

Previously the best Pizza around. Now, the large pie is noticeably smaller than it used to be, flop jallops aka no crisp, and cold by the time you get it home. New to the area. Looked at Yelp for the highest rated pizza place. Anthony's had the best ratings. I gave them a shot with a meatball pie. It was bland. They put the meatballs under the cheese so you can't taste them as well. My friend, my wife and I all at the same time rated it a 6. Not bad, just wouldn't go back. Tried Joey's the next night. Lower rated place but that pizza was an 8. Only problem with Joeys is it is more expensive, but they do deliver. read more

I have eaten their Pizza many times before (very good) but just didn't feel like Pizza so ordered 2 meals, Lasagna and Linguini in a vodka sauce with chicken. We will never do that again. The Lasagna was pretty bad, i could have done better in 20 min by myself, tasteless, I threw half in the garbage. The linguini was just OK but the chicken was way over breaded, and I don't think it was all breasts. The place is clean and the staff friendly but for being Italian they certainly can't make good Italian dishes. When I'm down in Manahawkin this is my favorite pizza joint. I found this place in high school as it was located close to an ex's house. She is long gone, but this joint still holds a place in my heart. The Sicilian pie here is the best I've had. The cheese is perfect, the sauce is tangy and just right, the crust is wonderful.
