Ray's is just all around the GOAT. Dude at the counter is always nice to everyone, and importantly, knows how to run a business. Delivery is always quick and easy, and the prices are good. The pizza is phenomenal, like, top 3 in the area if not top 1, and i've tried their salads as well and they're decent. Meant to leave a review for this place sooner because I've been here a dozen times and never disappointed. We order from here every week. Every thing we've ever gotten is delicious . The dinners come with a salad (the creamy Italian is excellent). The buffalo shrimp app is the best I've ever had. My son is a very picky eater and only eats chicken fingers from Rays. Highly recommend! read more

They charge you $11 for one tiny (and dry) rice ball cut in half and then they justify it by telling you how expensive ingredients are these days. A real insult to your intelligence. They also need to take "New York" out of the name of the restaurant. ​Trying to draw people to your subpar establishment by acting like you have NY quality pizza ​is an embarrassment. Some people love fast food, I love pizza! This place has been around forever and I always heard such great things. When my daughter was a senior during the pandemic they had an adopt a senior program and the senior I adopted wanted a Ray's pizza because he loved it. Finally I got a chance to try it out. I'm not going to lie it's a bit of a dive but clean.The people are extremely pleasant and it seemed to be a family run business.Straight out of the oven our delicious thin crusted pizza came out and we started to drool just a little. Compared to some thin crust pizza places I would consider this pizza to be medium in crust, they used real cheese because the pizza actually had oil coming off.A bunch of pizza places have got cheap using cheap mozzarella or adding provolone,this place used good cheese! The first slice I had was delicious but after that the second the sauce was a little sweet. I think I devoured my first slice. Overall this pizza place deserves a solid 4!!I would definitely go again. read more

It had a crispy undercarriage and crust with little floppiness in the middle. Will be back if in the area and will try thier LBI locations. read more

We've been ordering from rays for many years this past Sunday we ordered 2 cheesesteaks , neither one was correct but we could overlook this on a busy Sunday night . What we couldn't overlook was beef that was so dry it appeared to have been sitting on the grill for days . We've spent a lot of money at rays but we will rethink going back . read more

The food was 10/10. Best Sicilian pizza and garlic knots around. The one kid that made our food, I think his name was Derrick, was exceptional. He's one of the friendliest workers and had normal conversations with custormer. The lighting was great and the seats were comfortable. I am currently in the hospital, due to dehydration from food poisoning from their food. My husband is down for the count as well. We got sick around the same time. Due to being pregnant I had to come to the hospital because I can't keep anything down. My dr advised me come right to the ER. Last week we got delivery it was 2 full hours to receive delivery. This week I got smart and picked up. I walked in tonight and NOBODY WAS WEARING MASKS. None of the staff and none of the customers at the tables or at the counter paying. The man who took my money had a mask over his chin and put it up to take my money. Too bad. 1 hour and 40 mins later and our delivery (3 miles away) finally arrived. I get it it's a Friday night, but I ordered my pizza online at 5:29pm with an estimated delivery of 6:15. So we waited till 6:35 when I called and I spoke to a younger guy on the phone with a poor attitude stating it "will be there in a little while, it's really busy" "and we don't control the online ordering" "that's not through us" well I'm sorry, that's not my problem. When I asked what "a little while" meant I was told 20 more mins and then the food arrived 30 mins later. With an exploded Pepsi soda bottle leaking all over my front porch, we ordered root beer, a burnt Sicilian pizza, and cold mozzarella sticks all for a pricy $30.00. Just ewww. Order large pizza, cheesesteak egg rolls and antipasto. Pizza was cold and had no taste except for the overpowering sweetness of the sauce. I couldn't describe the taste of the egg rolls. They were just inedible. Antipasto was ok, but again no flavor and dressing was awful. Not to mention outrageously expensive. Save yourself and order from Fusaro's. read more

I am currently looking at one of Ray's garlic knots. One of them is perched atop a white paper plate over on the other side of the bay in the water. Behind it, a trail of water, buttery garlic and sadness. And oil slick. Worse than the Exxon Valdez oil spill. We sent one out on a paper raft. This is our ceremony. The rest of our garlic knots are up in the vacation house, and I'm not looking forward to returning to the smell. We are 50 yards away on the dock and I think I can already taste them again. Foul. All in all, the pizza and barbecue wings, too, were mediocre. But the man at the counter, might have been Ray himself, was like a pizza Mister Rogers. I would go there again just to see him. He was gentle and full of hope, but my stomach is full of regret. Really, I hope his business succeeds. But I'm hoping that the garlic knot on its white plate will make its way to Ray's shop at last so he can see the sacrifice we made to our bodies. Perhaps by sunset. read more
