Finally tried this spot after driving by it for 10 years..not bad at all. My ribs came out pretty quick, staff was nice, food was tasty. I sat outside on the front patio ( 3 tables outside and a few inside ) but looks like they do a lot of "to go" orders ( based on my on the foot traffic ) I'm old school so I always have cash on me, but I can see the cash only policy turning some people off..Anyway, nice little eatery if you find yourself in the area. So grateful we stumbled upon Bob B Q's!!! My hubby and I shared 1/2 rack of ribs and the pulled pork plate. BOTH WERE INCREDIBLE!!! The portions were super generous - there had to have been at least a pound of pork in that container!! The cornbread and cole slaw were amazing, too. Our bill was almost $40 (we also got sodas) but we were both stuffed and only ate half of everything. We are already excited to have leftovers as dinner! Delicious food! Very quick and not too pricey, ordered the Applewood bbq pulled pork, candied yams and creamed spinach. Total was 31$ (all were large quantities) food taste good, employees were attentive and polite, ambiance was general, clean place, no seating that I saw but quick bite! Will be coming back. First time trying this place and have to say the chicken wings are everything. Was with my family and wanted to grab a bite. My brother suggested this place and it hit the spot. The chicken was so crispy and nice and juicy inside. We opt for the sauce on the side since too many palates in th e group to please but I bet it would be delicious when they sauce it for you. Fries were also nice and crispy. Due to COVID they had no indoor seating but they had 4 tables outside. Will definitely stop by in the future if I am in the area to try the BBQ. ***CASH ONLY*** I figured I would start off with the heads up that it's a cash only spot because it's on all the menu signage, on the walls and on the display but still people can't see the forest from the trees and try to pay with a card. Did this food magically transport me to Texas? No. Was it incredibly good and something I would eat every time I'm in the area? Absolutely yes! So many times a bbq joint will serve Mac n cheese that's just reheated, chunky and passable. This stuff was fresh and cheesy. I couldn't ask for more. Creamed spinach is something I make at home a lot and this stuff didn't disappoint. The sandwich was on point. Sliced brisket, sautéed onions, cheddar and just the right amount of sauce. Ordered $53 worth of food. Ordered the beef brisket sandwich the paper was soaked with grease (two layers) and the bread was so soggy due to the grease when I opened up the sandwich there were two slices of meat full of fat it was disgusting and had to throw it out . The fries were cold and soggy and also greasy . They don't even deserve 1 star. For the price of food today they should be embarrassed to serve this food. read more

Bob's has gotten more and more menu options over the years and seems to have gotten even more of a following. Outdoor seating in the warmer months, plenty of parking, and overall some super decent local bbq and more. My fav used to be chicken in a bag with a heaping of fries but looking at new pics of the menu it seems that I might have to venture back ASAP and give some more stuff a try! Hi there everyone! Just walked out of Bob's...the food was awful !!! We orderd ribs & brisket wuth salads. Horrible !!! This is not bar-b-cue !!! The salads were tasteless and inedible. The ribs and the brisket came out drowning in a sauce that was so sugary. Now what you want to have with ribs or brisket. Particularly, since I asked for everything to be on the side. Took a few bites of the brisket and my husband took a few bites of the ribs and the salad and we left. I will not be returning there. Called in ( which takes multiple attempts most nights and your lucky if the phone is answered in a timely manner ) and ordered dinner ( a burger to split and two sides ) from their specials menu and was met with a 40 minute wait ( at least it wasn't an hour like it has been other nights ). No heart felt apology, no offer of a discount, no offer of a discounted rushed replacement items, nothing. Just here is your full priced burger, are we good? I paid and tipped because I'm not sure who's fault it is or who should be punished for this disappointing lack of service but I thought it was about time to leave a review so others might be warned. Other members of my family have ordered brisket from there in the past to be told they were out. How do you run out of bbq food at a bbq restaurant? It seems that it's just par for the course. Also worth mentioning that they are cash only which isn't terrible but another inconvenience for those not prepared. Bob's is definitely the best BBQ in the area! I've had pretty much everything on the menu and I'm never disappointed. He won a Best of Westchester award for his pork a few years ago. The pulled pork is very good, but I think the brisket is the best thing on the menu. Went there for the first time this past Saturday night. The food is really good. We got bacon ranch quesadillas, 1/2 rack of ribs, and hot wings. We really enjoyed the food...it is cash only, but def worth it. Prices are pretty reasonable too considering it's only cash. We spent 30 dollars and it was a lot of food. My only reason for not giving the full 5 stars is because we waited about 25 minutes...but it was also a Saturday around prime dinner time.
