How has it been since I last had a Blizzard?…read more Witch Flavor, Beaver's nifty new ice cream parlor, was unreachable due to a car show/parade/street fair going on, so after lunch at Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe, we came here to get ice cream. I know, I know. I said that I wished for DQ to be struck down by Witch Flavor's slingshot in a recent review but we were sort of stuck, not to mention craving. Anyway, back to the Blizzard. Man, I remember when these first came onto the ice cream scene, causing a commotion. Like Van Halen, they've spawned an immeasurable number of knock-offs. Not being able to recall the name of my Blizzard, I can tell you that mine involved an unsafe dose of fudge. I dunno. There was something lacking to it. I think that Witch Flavor's Penn State Creamery ice cream has made DQ rather irrelevant. I mean, when I was ten, I used to get excited about The Outfield. At age thirteen, I was listening to Anthrax.
