I just ordered a catering box for my retreat. The ladies were super helpful with suggestions.they offered to put all the wet ingredients and the vegetables in separate containers for pick up as not to make the sandwich soggy. The catering box comes with four giant subs cut into six separate sandwiches a smaller size. I purchased a catering box gift card at an auction but the total price had I not would have come to $84. I'm super excited did this is going to help me not have to prepare a lunch for my group.

I gave Mike's way another try and even though the bread got soggy on my leftover, I grew to like the tangy flavor.

My friend and I spent the day shopping in Snohomish on Saturday and decided to stop into this…read moresandwich shop for some food to go. I had been there a few times before and had always enjoyed it, so I was actually the one raving to my friend about how good the place was and suggesting we go there. We spent around $65 on our order, and I even left a generous tip. While waiting for our food, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables since the restaurant was only about half full. We were told by who I believe was the owner that we could not sit at a table because they were "running food" and it made things too difficult, and instead were told to sit on the bench by the door. The problem was the bench was already full, so we were left standing there waiting for our order with nowhere to sit. Honestly, it was embarrassing after I had talked the place up so much to my friend. It was disappointing because there were plenty of empty tables available and we were paying customers simply waiting for our food. The interaction felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and left a bad impression.

Quaint small town vibe, great atmosphere with the most massively delicious sandwiches you'll ever find! Heidi is also a great contributor to our community and I'll forever back this business.

Excellent service, friendly people, great sandwiches!…read more When I visited they were so busy that I had to wait 30 minutes to get my sandwich. But it was worth the wait! I ordered a Mr. Steph: turkey, salami, pepperjack, pepperoncini, lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard on country bread. The sandwich stood about 2-1/2" to 3" tall when it was lying down. And it tasted great! The country bread was very hearty. The crust was awesome. I had to work to bite through it. I loved it! They also have a small store that has all kinds of food items you won't find in a typical grocery store. I bought a round loaf of Greek Olive Bread that was also very crusty.

Don't let this tiny place fool you, it delivers BIG on quality and flavor. They make their own bread, and their sandwich board is thoughtfully put together to enhance the flavor profiles of all the ingredients. I tried the RBB and the Italian. The most important item of a sandwich is the bread, the 2nd most important- the thickness of the meat. Well, the Italian came on a house-made semolina roll, and the meat was perfectly sliced paper thin. It was the best sandwich I've had since being back home in NYC. The roast beef with blue cheese and horseradish mayo was ridiculous. I will definitely be back when I am back on Whidbey Island... ANYWHERE on the island. This place is worth the drive. Also the prices are very reasonable. They also have a small market with a few aisles of curated goods. I grabbed some Whidbey Island canned tuna for later. Excellent spot, well done. Absolutely zero notes.
