Like others have said, this establishment is unkempt, disorganized, and disheveled. The employees seemed disinterested and like they didn't really want to be there. Everything seemed to take a REALLY long time. The meat slicer was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. You can see from the photo I posted there's bacon half in the container and half on the counter, lettuce, and other toppings scattered. Sauce containers and bread slicers on the counters everywhere. We looked for the health/cleanliness score that's supposed to be visible, but could not locate it. I'm not sure what type of open container was sitting on the floor that the employee grabbed the frozen steak from and then threw it on the grill, but I digress. She also had a friend behind the counter (not in uniform) that she was talking to the entire time she was cooking on the grill. It was obvious that she had been talking on the phone with her via her AirPods before she got in the store. You can't see the friend, she's behind the big guy, but you can see the employee turned to the side clearly mid conversation with someone. Very disappointed with my experience at Jersey Mike's today. I placed a simple pickup order for myself and a coworker, and somehow neither sandwich was made correctly. My order was a mini turkey sub no onions add mayo, and my coworker ordered a wrap with no onions add mayo and mustard. Simple orders shouldn't be this difficult to get right. Because the order was completely wrong, I ended up with no lunch. Attention to detail matters, especially for pickup orders when customers are on limited time during their lunch break. I have been a Jersey customer for at least 7 years. I normally get the cheese steak. This time I got the Italian giant sub. I paid over 20 dollars for it and I would estimate that there was not over 2 dollars of meat in it. The cheese was so thin you could see through it. So were the other meats. We visit this jersey mikes often on our way to the beach. Something is always broken. The drink machine, the ice machine, etc. today was no different. Inside of restaurant was dirty. One clean table to sit at. In women's restroom soap dispenser was apart and laying down making dispensing difficult. Paper towel machine was broken and open. Ice machine was broken as well. When I see a restaurant in this kind of disarray I wonder about the safety of the food. read more

The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered two sandwiches, both needing special requests for topping, etc. The staff listened to my requests and prepared the sandwiches perfectly. I drove 20 miles in traffic on a Friday night to have someone with a short haircut with waves butcher my sandwich. I asked that my giant sandwich be cut in 4 pieces. One piece was half of the sandwich and the other 3 pieces were a variety of sizes. One end was so soggy when I got home no one could nor would eat it. I took the meat off and put it on a hamburger bun and ate it myself. Over $26 and I have never been so disappointed. I don't complain often and rarely leave a review,however, after waking up this morning, the stench of disappointment is still lingering, so I had to try and get the smell out. As an FYI, the same guy made several sandwiches before mine and had so much mayo on the side and outside of that sandwich, that I don't know how it could be picked up without the hand being wrapped in napkins. Clearly this person doesn't care about what we are paying for and that it will be going into our mouths. My partner always orders a sandwich as a bowl, and they put about 4 servings of mayo all in her bowl and it doesn't even come with mayo, so we had to feel like assholes when we asked if she could scoop the mayo back out. Who wants their salad drenched in mayo? It was an absurd amount. On the other hand, I ordered a sandwich mikes way and the sandwich came with roast beef and bacon and tomato's and onions, but she made the sandwich without those things and I felt bad asking her "wait, there's more things that go on the sandwich" cause she had already finished making it and was starting to put it away, and she was doing that while there were 4 things still missing on the sandwich. It doesn't sound like it should be a big deal, but the whole reason I order a specific sandwich is because of the specific things that come on the sandwich. Don't they have a guide to look at if they don't know what comes on the sandwich? I even told her it comes with bacon, and she said "no it doesn't" and she looked over at her coworker, and she was like "yes it does". And even if it didn't come with bacon, how bout instead of saying "no it doesn't" say "it doesn't come with bacon but I can absolutely add it for you if you'd like!" Or "wait does it come with bacon? Let me check. Ope! It does! Sorry about that." My partner and I love Jersey Mikes, but be careful with this location cause there's a few workers who clearly hate their job and their service reflects it. read more

I have eaten at multiple Jersey Mikes all over Florida and several in Georgia and have never finished a Giant #3 shared with my wife and felt my hunger was not satisfied. Tonight I did. Every other JM provided a sandwich that was loaded with the freshest meat, cheese and veggies you could ask for done Mike's Way. The cheese was sliced so thin you could read a newspaper through it. The ham was one layer thick sliced the same thickness as the cheese and some of the lettuce had brown spots. I did find some onion but never tasted it in the sandwich. I saw something poured on it but it must have been watered down. There was none of the great flavor that I have been used to from other top notch JM locations. The price I paid did not reflect the sandwich I received. I should have gone to Subway, this sandwich was one notch below what would have expected from them. Don't waste your money. read more

I have a jersey mikes where I live and was excited to see this one right across from my hotel. I didn't even get to order. Every person in the store looked annoyed when I walked in. The employees didn't seem to know what was going on. They told me to wait in line. Then before I went to order said it was going to be a really long wait. I asked how long, and they proceeded to say again a very long wait. I also heard them answer the phone and say they wouldn't take a call in order. They said they were only taking in person orders and online orders. Losing money left and right with the employees in there. They need better training on processes and customer service. I love Jersey's Mikes so I was excited about one opening in Montgomery. I will say however my last 2 visits were less than satisfactory. Similar to the other reviewers, the store was very disorganized, dirty, with no leadership and problems maintaining a COVID safe environment. On my second visit, I literally walked out without ordering when I noticed it was the same crew from my first visit. I could not understand why someone would pay for a franchise and then let it be maintained in an unacceptable manner. I had decided this would be my last try. But today I was extremely surprised and hopeful! I came in towards the end of the lunch shift so there were not many customers. But more importantly, I saw the gentleman immediately put on fresh gloves. As another employee finished her checks in the dining area, she immediately washed her hands and put on a new pair of gloves before cleaning the prep area. The veggies looked fresh, clean and not running into each other's containers. I also saw no flies and EVERYONE stayed masked up. They didn't pull them down to talk or wear them on their chins. The ladies hair were neatly done and not hanging over the food. These were all previous issues I observed in my first two visits. The sandwich was outstanding!!! The workers were also very friendly. My only suggestions are to just make some time to clean the back of the bread cutting area and the back of the veggie area after about 3 customers. Cleanliness always makes food taste better and no one minds waiting 30 seconds while time is taken for the little things. Great job today!!! Please keep it up because we love Jersey Mikes! read more

I decided to give them another try after my last experience wasn't so great, guess I'm just a gluten for punishment. I arrived about 5 minutes after my order ready time. Went to the togo orders and my order was not there, I should have none because there was a line outside the door. Thought these were folks waiting to order but most were online orders as well. My order was to be picked up at 7:20. After 20 minutes I was asked did you have an online order, I said yes and was asked my name and was told O yeah we are making it now. Ughhhh I'm hungry so I guess I can wait. 7:56 why am I still waiting??? I ask again ma'am how much longer, again im told we are making it now. At this point I cant wait any longer because I have wasted almost an hour of my night for them to pluck and process this turkey. An why in the world would you allow over a dozen people in a store this small to be standing around in close proximity during a pandemic, even if you are getting the food out on time it isn't that good. read more

Went to try Jersey mikes on Sunday the management staff there tracing the employees had no control of what was going on. There was no organization, no social distancing for employees or guest. I understand a training period but if your not doing the training correct from the start what is the point. Also be sure you check your orders before leaving and ask for a receipt as we were getting someone else order and who knows if I was charged correctly because they never gave use a receipt and when we asked for one they could not produce one. So instead of dealing with the issue they gave me my money back which I didn't ask for all I wanted was the receipt to check and to scan to get my points as well. The owner needs to be made aware of the issues now or it will just go down hill. read more

Food is alright, and staff is friendly enough, but they're always out of something - chicken, bacon, etc. the past two times my wife and I have tried to get something there they were out of product needed to make our specific sandwiches. We specifically went to this location to participatein the Day of Giving. The owner and/or manager needs to pay attention and correct the OBVIOUS problems at this location. First, the Public Health rating is 91 ----- really!! One of the obvious reasons for this is the fact that employees are eating/drinking in the food prep area -- 100% against Public Health regulations. Who knows about the general cleanliness!! The floors are filthy. The two trash cans that are snugged up to the front door are FILTHY. We paid for two fountain drinks --clear drinks, not colored -- so, we did not know until we left and were driving home that the drinks we got were nothing but carbonated water ---- all the syrup for the specific drinks were out and only carbonated water was being dispensed -- so, the price of two drinks down the drain -- literally. We will not go to this location again. That means we have to drive to Auburn as the closest location. This is a true shame for a company that does such great things across the country. Owner/managers at this location need to get this place whipped into shape and keep it that way. We will not be back. read more

I have never in my life experienced such a poorly run Jersey Mikes. We used to eat at jersey mikes weekly before leaving Florida so I was so excited to hear that a location was opening near us in Montgomery, AL. Unfortunately I have given this location SEVERAL opportunities to provide good and prompt service and they fall WAY below the bar every single time. It is extremely disappointing that I have reached a point of never wanting to return. My pickup order has never been ready on time, the last two times I have even shown up 20 minutes PAST the pickup time and it still isn't close to being ready. I am then given extremely rude attitude by the staff who seem like they could care less about being there. Never once have I been told "I am so sorry but we will get that ready for you right away". I hope whoever purchased this franchise location is ready for a big loss because several people in this area feel the same way and are upset about the fact that they no longer fee want to return. read more
