I love their cheese steak sandwich and club sandwich for lunch. Good price also! They close early so get your order in!

Philly cheesesteak was a greasy mess. Dry and tasteless meat. Wow it was bad. Server was good.

Food came out we had ordered the Chickichanga & The Works Omelet. Both dishes were amazing and tasty. Next time would ask for some salsa but great dishes. The only issue was once the food was served we never saw our waitress except across the room, didn't check to make sure everything okay or needed anything and finally when we were done 10 minutes flagged someone down to get our check that was very disappointing. Review is mainly for the food not the service or would be lower.

The service is always good, and staff have always been friendly and caring. All the locations we visited were fairly new and nice and clean. Sometimes it can get loud in certain locations, but that was never a real issue. Today, I had the seasonal special of the "Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash". WOW! It was impressive. Everything was perfectly seasoned, well-cooked, and plated beautifully. I also had the "French Toast". It was sweet but enjoyable. We had an incredibly positive visit, and we will visit there again.

They're only open on Saturdays and Sundays so you gotta catch em on the weekend. Seating inside is a bit tight but open for groups and there is bar seating. There are several tables on the covered patio as well. The service and the food are impeccable. Several options. You must must try the loaded grits and have a biscuit (maybe 2!) I even took a biscuit to go. The porkchops were huge, fried to perfection, and flavorful. Please be patient. They make everything to order, and perfection takes time.

Once the doors are opened, you just take a seat at whichever table is open. It's a small cafe that's clean and nicely decorated. The servers are friendly and personable. They have a nice selection of breakfasts and everything I saw being delivered to other tables looked delicious. I saw some massive breakfast sandwiches as well. I had the Cajun Omelette which was good but that biscuit was one of the best I've ever tasted. I'd go back for a dozen to take home if they sold them by the dozen. My wife had the Wakie-Wakie which came with Conecuh sausage which was delicious. I will absolutely be back when I'm there this spring.

I'm a court reporter who travels a lot to cover depositions. Recently, I had to go to Columbus, GA…read morefrom Nashville and wanted to avoid both Atlanta (traffic nightmare) and Hwy 280 (hateful red lights) so I went through Montgomery, AL. And holy crap, am I glad I went through at lunch time and chose this place to eat!!! The cafe is easy to get to and has plenty of parking- the interior is not flashy or modern, but it is comfortable and homey. And honestly, after eating the food, I wouldn't care if they were in a tent, as long as they brought me this amazing food!! Their menu changes weekly- there are a few meats and vegetables that you can get everyday, and then there's a different selection for each day- which makes me wish I lived closer so I could eat here every freaking day. You can find the current menu on their Facebook page! If you go here though, and do NOT get the fried chicken, then you are seriously doing yourself a disservice. It. Is. Delicious. And as a lifelong southerner, I've eaten a butt load of fried chicken. This is some of the best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes, Lima beans, creamed corn and fried green tomatoes were all awesome as well- seasoned perfectly, were homemade and fresh. Seriously, after my first couple of bites, I had to just close my eyes and do my happy food dance. And the CORNBREAD!!! In true southern fashion, it is NOT sweet, thank god, and is cooked in a muffin form, which usually means that the cornbread is dry. I almost didn't taste it- I wish I hadn't, because this cornbread haunts me. It was light, delicate, savory and (I hate this word) moist. It was the perfect cornbread. They have also perfected sweet tea- I wish I could have gotten a gallon to take home. The women who were working the days I went (twice in six days!) were super sweet, quick and efficient, attentive without hovering- they're really awesome. They all work together and it seems like a well oiled machine. The prices are ridiculous for as much food as you get- a meat and three plus tea for $13.00?? I'd pay way more- but I appreciate not having to go over my allotted per diem for lunch! If you're in Montgomery between the hours of 11-2pm, and you're hungry- do yourself a favor and go to Gail's, tell the girls you're hungry, and eat what they bring you- because it's going to be delicious and your tummy will be very happy.
